Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a cooking device, such as a steam convection oven, that cooks food by using hot air. [Background technology]

[0002] The following Patent Document 1 discloses a cooking device that cooks ingredients with hot air. This cooking device includes a cooking chamber that cooks ingredients, a heater that heats the inside of the cooking chamber, a convection fan that circulates air in the cooking chamber, a steam generator that supplies steam into the cooking chamber, and a control device that controls the operation of the heater, the convection fan, and the steam generator. The control device of this cooking device includes a cooking program for cooking ingredients, and when the cooking program is executed by the control device, the air in the cooking chamber is turned into hot air by the operation of the heater and the convection fan and circulates, and steam is supplied to the convecting hot air by the operation of the steam generator, and the ingredients stored in the cooking chamber are cooked by the hot air containing steam.

[0003] This cooking appliance has a washing function that automatically washes the inside of the cooking chamber with wash water, and is equipped with a washing nozzle that sprays washing water onto the ceiling of the cooking chamber, a washing water passage that connects the washing nozzle to a drain outlet provided at the bottom of the cooking chamber, a tank that is interposed in the washing water passage and temporarily stores the washing water, and a pump that sends the washing water in the tank to the washing nozzle. When the pump is operated to wash the inside of the cooking chamber, the washing water in the tank is sent to the washing nozzle through the washing water passage, and the washing water sprayed from the washing nozzle into the cooking chamber is returned to the tank from the drain outlet, and the inside of the cooking chamber is washed with the washing water circulating between the tank and the washing nozzle.

[0004] A drain strainer (strainer) is provided at the drain of a kitchen cabinet to prevent solid objects (foreign matter) such as small pieces of food from entering the wash water passage, and the drain strainer comprises an annular frame with a larger diameter than the drain, a mesh filter portion provided inside the frame and formed so as to be recessed downward so as to be inserted into the drain, and a stand portion for holding a low cylindrical tablet-shaped solid detergent upright above the frame. [0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2019-138618 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] The cooking device of Patent Document 1 has a drain strainer that is detachably attached to the drain outlet, and can prevent solid objects such as small pieces of food from entering the wash water passage through the drain outlet. In this cooking device, the drain strainer may be mistakenly attached upside down to the drain outlet. In this case, the stand part that stands on the upper side of the drain strainer may get caught on the periphery of the drain outlet, and the upside-down drain strainer may be attached so that it is inclined diagonally above the drain outlet, and the drain strainer may not be able to block the drain outlet so that solid objects do not enter. In addition, in the process of carrying a tray in and out of the cooking chamber, the tray or the user's hand may get caught on the stand part of the drain strainer, causing the drain strainer to be turned upside down and installed so that it is inclined diagonally above the drain outlet, and the drain strainer may not be able to block the drain outlet. To provide a cooking device capable of covering a drain outlet of a cooking chamber so that solid objects (foreign objects) such as small pieces of food do not enter the drain outlet even when a strainer for closing the drain outlet of a cooking chamber while allowing water and air to pass therethrough is attached upside down. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a cooking appliance comprising a cooking chamber for cooking ingredients, a heater for heating the inside of the cooking chamber, a convection fan for circulating air inside the cooking chamber, a drain outlet provided at the bottom of the cooking chamber, and a strainer for covering the drain outlet to allow water and air to pass through, wherein the strainer comprises an annular frame portion having a diameter larger than the drain outlet, and a filter portion using a mesh member provided inside the annular frame portion, and the filter portion comprises an annular rising portion that rises upward outside the drain outlet, and an insertion recess that is recessed inside the rising portion to be inserted into the drain outlet.

[0008] In the cooking device configured as described above, the filter part of the strainer has an annular rising part rising upward on the outside of the drain outlet, and a fitting recess that is recessed inside the rising part so as to be fitted and inserted into the drain outlet. Even if solid matter such as small pieces of food that have fallen to the bottom of the cooking chamber rolls toward the drain outlet, the rising part of the strainer is located on the outside of the drain outlet, so that the small pieces of food are less likely to enter the fitting recess in the drain outlet. This makes it less likely that the drain outlet will be blocked by solid matter such as small pieces of food. When the strainer is attached upside down to the drain outlet, there is no protrusion such as a stand to hold up tablet-shaped solid detergent on the upper side of the strainer, so that the strainer is less likely to be attached at an angle to the periphery of the drain outlet. Even if the upside-down strainer is attached to the drain, with the rising part abutting the outside of the drain, the upper side of the drain is covered by the insertion recess to allow water and air to pass through, so that even if the strainer is upside-down, the drain is covered to allow water and air to pass through, making it difficult for solid objects such as small pieces of food to get into the drain. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THEINVENTION

[0010] An embodiment of the cooking device of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The cooking device of the present invention is called a steam convection oven, and cooks ingredients by convection of hot air containing steam. As shown in FIG. 1, cooking device 10 has a machine chamber 12 in the left side of housing 11, and a cooking chamber 20 for cooking ingredients in the part of housing 11 excluding machine chamber 12. As shown in FIG. 2, cooking chamber 20 has an opening 20a in the front part for putting ingredients in and taking them out, and door 30 for opening and closing opening 20a of cooking chamber 20 is supported on the front right part of housing 11 so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis.

[0011] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the door 30 comprises an outer glass 31 disposed on the front side (outside), and an inner glass 32 disposed on the rear side (inside) of the outer glass 31. A metal front frame 31a is provided on the front peripheral edge of the outer glass 31 except for the left side, and a metal rear frame 31b is provided on the left side of the rear face of the outer glass 31, with the outer glass 31 being sandwiched and fixed between the front frame 31a and the rear frame 31b. Because no metal frame is provided on the front left side of the outer glass 31, the vicinity of the handle 33 of the outer glass 31 is less likely to become hot.

[0012] As shown in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, a mounting portion 34 is provided on the rear surface of the right side of the outer glass 31 to pivotally support the outer glass 31 on the front right side of the housing 11 and to pivotally support the inner glass 32. Hinge bearing portions 35, 36 are provided on the upper and lower parts of the mounting portion 34, and the hinge bearing portions 35, 36 are rotatably engaged with hinge shaft portions 13, 14 provided on the upper and lower parts of the front right side of the housing 11. The door 30 can be held open at a narrow opening position (5° in this embodiment, but may be in the range of 1° to 5°) where the opening 20a of the cooking chamber 20 is opened at a narrow opening angle, and at a wide opening position (110° in this embodiment, but may be in the range of 90° to 120°) where the opening 20a of the cooking chamber 20 is opened at a wide opening angle so that trays such as hotel pans can be carried in and out of the cooking chamber 20 to the front side.

[0013] The holding mechanism for holding the door 30 at the narrow open position and the wide open position will be described with reference to Fig. 4. The hinge shaft 14 provided at the bottom of the housing 11 is fixed to the bottom of the front right side of the housing 11 by a hinge bracket 14a. As shown in Fig. 4(a), holding protrusions 14b are provided on both the left and right sides of the base end of the hinge shaft 14. These holding protrusions 14b are disposed at positions inclined 5° counterclockwise from both the left and right sides of the hinge shaft 14. As shown in Fig. 4(b), the hinge bearing 36 provided at the bottom of the mounting portion 34 of the outer glass 31 is made of a thick plate member, and a hinge hole 36a is formed in which the hinge bearing 36 is inserted. When the door 30 closes the opening 20a of the cooking chamber 20, the underside of the hinge bearing portion 36 is formed with first retaining recesses 36b that are recessed upward on both the left and right sides of the hinge hole 36a, and the underside of the hinge bearing portion 36 is formed with second retaining recesses 36c that are recessed upward at a position tilted 15° clockwise from both the top and bottom sides of the hinge hole 36a.

[0014] The first retaining recess 36b has a function of retaining the door 30 in the narrow open position by engaging with the retaining protrusions 14b on both the left and right sides of the hinge shaft 14. The second retaining recess 36c has a function of retaining the door 30 in the wide open position by engaging with the retaining protrusions 14b on both the left and right sides of the hinge shaft 14. As shown in FIG. 4(c), when the door 30 closes the opening 20a of the cooking chamber 20, the retaining protrusions 14b on both sides of the hinge shaft 14 are not fully engaged with the first retaining recess 36b of the hinge bearing portion 36. As shown in FIG. 4(d), when an attempt is made to open the door 30 by operating the handle 33, the first retaining recess 36b of the hinge bearing portion 36 engages with the retaining protrusions 14b on both sides of the hinge shaft 14, and the door 30 is held in the narrow open position with its rotation stopped. When the door 30 is opened from a state in which the opening 20a of the cooking chamber 20 is closed, the door 30 is stopped from rotating in a narrow open state and is held in this state, so that high-temperature steam is not forcefully blown out from the opening 20a of the cooking chamber 20 toward a user operating the handle.

[0015] As shown in FIG. 4(e), when the door 30 is stopped in the narrow open state and is opened further, the door 30 is lifted slightly upward, and the first retaining recess 36b of the hinge bearing portion 36 overcomes and disengages from the retaining protrusion 14b of the hinge shaft portion 14. When the second retaining recess 36c of the hinge bearing portion 36 engages with the retaining protrusion 14b of the hinge shaft portion 14, the door 30 is stopped and held in the wide open state. When the door 30 is opened further from the narrow open state, the door 30 stops rotating in the wide open state and is held in this state, so that the hot door 30 does not hit the user when carrying in or out a tray of hotel pans or the like through the opening 20a of the cooking chamber 20.

[0016] As shown in FIG. 5, a metal frame 32a is provided on the front surface of the inner glass 32, and the inner glass 32 is supported by the frame 32a on the rear surface of the right side of the outer glass 31 so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis. The frame 32a has a rectangular frame shape with an open inner side, and is fixed to the front peripheral edge of the inner glass 32 with a silicon caulking agent I. An upper claw portion 32b is provided on the upper end of the frame 32a, the vertical cross section of which is bent into a substantially U-shape in the front-rear direction so as to sandwich the upper end of the inner glass 32 from the front to the rear. A right claw portion 32c is provided on the right end of the frame 32a, the horizontal cross section of which is bent into a substantially U-shape in the left-right direction so as to sandwich the right end of the inner glass 32 from the front to the rear. A lower claw portion 32d is provided on the lower end of the frame 32a, extending rearward on both the left and right sides, and a spacer 32e is provided between the lower claw portion 32d and the lower end of the inner glass 32 above the lower claw portion 32d. A holder 32f is provided at the left end of the frame body 32a to fix the left end of the inner glass 32 to the frame body 32a. A hinge bearing portion 32g is provided at the right side of the frame body 32a, and the hinge bearing portion 32g is rotatably engaged with a hinge shaft portion 34a of an attachment portion 34 on the right side of the outer glass 31.

[0017] Since the inner glass 32 is bonded to a single frame body 32a that is not separated into upper and lower parts, contact between the end of the inner glass 32 and the upper claw portion 32b, the right claw portion 32c, and the lower claw portion 32d of the frame body 32a can be reduced, and the risk of the inner glass 32 being damaged due to contact with the claw portions 32b to 32d of the metal frame body 32a can be reduced. Also, since the upper claw portion 32b is disposed on the upper part of the frame body 32a, the right claw portion 32c is disposed on the right side of the frame body 32a, the lower claw portion 32d is disposed on the lower part of the frame body 32a, and the holder 32f is disposed on the left side of the frame body 32a, the inner glass 32 can be prevented from falling off the frame body 32a even if the adhesive strength of the silicone caulking agent I that bonds the inner glass 32 to the frame body 32a is reduced. A notch 32h is formed on the left side of the holder 32f, so that a finger can be inserted through this notch 32h to rotate the inner glass 32 relative to the attachment portion 34 about a vertical axis.

[0018] 2 and 3, a door-side drain gutter 37 is provided below the inner glass 32 on the rear surface of the outer glass 31, and water droplets condensed on the inner glass 32 are received by the door-side drain gutter 37. A drain outlet 37a is provided at the right end of the door-side drain gutter 37, and the water droplets received in the door-side drain gutter 37 are drained from the drain outlet 37a. A cabinet-side drain gutter 15 is provided at the lower front surface of the housing 11, and water discharged from the drain outlet 37a of the door-side drain gutter 37 is received by the cabinet-side drain gutter 15. A drain gutter drain pipe (not shown) is connected to the cabinet-side drain gutter 15, and the water received in the cabinet-side drain gutter 15 is discharged to the outside of the housing 11 through the drain gutter drain pipe (not shown).

[0019] As shown in Figs. 2 and 6, a rectangular annular mounting groove 11a is formed on the front surface of the housing 11 so as to surround the rectangular opening 20a of the cooking chamber 20, and a packing 40 is attached to the mounting groove 11a. The packing 40 seals the gap between the front surface of the housing 11 and the inner glass 32 of the door 30 to airtightly close the opening 20a of the cooking chamber 20. The packing 40 includes a base 41 fitted into the mounting groove 11a and a buffer part 42 that airtightly closes the gap between the front surface of the housing 11 and the inner glass 32 of the door 30. The base 41 has a substantially rectangular cross-sectional shape in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and has a hollow part 41a with a circular cross-sectional shape inside. The base 41 is fitted into the mounting groove 11a by the hollow part 41a being crushed.

[0020] The buffer section 42 has a cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the longitudinal direction that is substantially triangular, and has a hollow section 42a with a cross-sectional shape substantially triangular inside. A protrusion 42b extending in the longitudinal direction is formed on the inclined surface of the buffer section 42 opposite the opening 20a. The inside of the protrusion 42b is also hollow so as to be continuous with the hollow section 42a. Since the hollow protrusion 42b is formed on the buffer section 42, when the door 30 is closed and the inner glass 32 is pressed against the buffer section 42, the inclined surface of the buffer section 42 on the opening 20a side elastically deforms toward the hollow section 42a, while the inclined surface of the buffer section 42 opposite the opening 20a of the buffer section 42 comes into close contact with the inner glass 32. At this time, the protrusion 42b formed on the inclined surface of the buffer section 42 opposite the opening 20a comes into close contact with the inner glass 32 so that the hollow section inside is crushed. In this manner, the formation of the protrusions 42b on the buffer portion 42 improves the cushioning function when the inner glass 32 is pressed against the packing 40, and the durability of the packing 40 can be increased.

[0021] As described above, protrusion 42b is formed on the slope opposite the opening of buffer part 42, and door-side drain gutter 37 or chamber-side drain gutter 15 is disposed directly below protrusion 42b of buffer part 42 of packing 40 arranged below opening 20a. Condensation generated inside cooking chamber 20 may adhere to buffer part 42 of packing 40 directly or through inner glass 32. Water droplets caused by condensation adhering to buffer part 42 of packing 40 arranged below opening 20a flow along the slope on the opposite side (lower side) of opening 20a, and the flowing water droplets flow down from protrusion 42b into door-side drain gutter 37 or chamber-side drain gutter 15 directly below. In this way, water droplets adhering to the buffer portion 42 of the packing 40 flow down from the protrusion 42b into the door-side drain gutter 37 or the cabinet-side drain gutter 15, and do not flow down along the front surface of the housing 11 from the slope on the opposite side to the opening 20a of the buffer portion 42.

[0022] As shown in FIG. 7, the cooking chamber 20 is for storing ingredients and cooking them. The cooking chamber 20 except for the left side is used as an ingredient storage chamber 21 for storing ingredients, and the left side is used as a hot air generating chamber 22 for generating hot air to be sent to the ingredient storage chamber 21. As shown in FIG. 8, a steam inlet 20b is formed in the left side wall of the cooking chamber 20, and as shown in FIG. 9, a drainage outlet 20c is formed in the bottom wall of the cooking chamber 20. A steam generator 60, which will be described later, is connected to the steam inlet 20b. In addition, a strainer 50, which will be described later, is provided in the drainage outlet 20c, and the drainage outlet 20c is covered by the strainer 50 so that water and air can pass through. The drainage outlet 20c is connected to a drainage tank 17 by a first drain pipe 16, and water in the cooking chamber 20 is drained through the first drain pipe 16 to the drainage tank 17. A second drain pipe (not shown) is connected to the drain tank 17, and water in the cooking chamber 20 is drained into the drain tank 17 through the first drain pipe 16 and then drained outside the housing 11 through the second drain pipe.

[0023] As shown in Figs. 6 and 7, a partition plate 23 is provided on the left side of the center of the cooking chamber 20 in the left-right direction, and the partition plate 23 separates the food storage chamber 21 and the hot air generating chamber 22 to allow ventilation. The partition plate 23 functions as a fan cover that covers the suction port side of the convection fan 26 arranged in the hot air generating chamber 22. As shown in Fig. 6, the partition plate 23 has a number of suction ports 23a formed therein, and the air in the food storage chamber 21 is sent to the hot air generating chamber 22 through the suction ports 23a. The partition plate 23 is also attached so that a space through which air can pass is formed between the ceiling wall, bottom wall, front wall, and rear wall of the cooking chamber 20. A ventilation passage 23b through which air passes is formed between the partition plate 23 and the ceiling wall, bottom wall, front wall, and rear wall of the cooking chamber 20, and the air in the hot air generating chamber 22 is sent to the food storage chamber 21 through the ventilation passage 23b.

[0024] As shown in Fig. 7, the food storage chamber 21 of the cooking chamber 20 is provided with a pair of left and right support frames 24 that support multiple levels of trays called hotel pans in an up and down manner. The support frames 24 in this embodiment can support three levels of shallow trays up and down and two levels of deep trays as shown in Fig. 7 up and down, with the left support frame 24 fixed to the partition plate 23 and the right support frame 24 fixed to the right wall of the cooking chamber 20. The pair of left and right support frames 24 are provided with three levels of rails 24a extending forward and backward, and each rail 24a can support the upper edge of the tray on both the left and right sides.

[0025] As shown in Figures 7 and 8, a heater 25 and a convection fan 26 are provided in the hot air generating chamber 22 of the cooking chamber 20. The heater 25 heats the inside of the cooking chamber 20, and is wound in a substantially circular shape on the left side wall of the cooking chamber 20. The convection fan 26 causes convection of the air inside the cooking chamber 20, and is attached inside the heater 25 wound in a substantially circular shape on the left side wall of the cooking chamber 20. The convection fan 26 in this embodiment is a centrifugal fan made of a sirocco fan. A temperature sensor 27 is provided on the left side wall of the cooking chamber 20, and the temperature sensor 27 detects the temperature inside the cooking chamber 20.

[0026] When the convection fan 26 is operated, air from the food storage chamber 21 is sucked into the hot air generating chamber 22 through the suction port 23a of the partition plate 23, the sucked air is blown outward in the centrifugal direction in the hot air generating chamber 22, and the blown air passes through the top-bottom and front-rear ventilation paths 23b before being returned to the food storage chamber 21. When the convection fan 26 is operated together with the heater 25, the air sucked into the hot air generating chamber 22 from the food storage chamber 21 is blown against the heater 25 arranged outside the convection fan 26 and becomes high-temperature hot air, which is returned to the food storage chamber 21 through the top-bottom and front-rear ventilation paths 23b.

[0027] As shown in FIG. 8, a temperature sensing cylinder 28 is provided on the left side of the front wall of the cooking chamber 20 as a temperature protector inside the chamber, and the temperature sensing cylinder 28 is attached to the left side of the front wall of the cooking chamber 20 by a holder 29. The holder 29 has a pillar 29a fixed to the left side of the front wall of the cooking chamber 20 and an arm 29b using a leaf spring member extending left and right at the upper and lower parts of the pillar 29a, and the temperature sensing cylinder 28 is urged toward the front wall of the cooking chamber 20 and held by the upper and lower arms 29b on the right side. Since the arm 29b uses a leaf spring member, the temperature sensing cylinder 28 can be attached to and detached from the arm 29b from the outside. The upper and lower arms 29b on the left side can hold electrical wiring (not shown) of a core temperature sensor for detecting the core temperature of ingredients brought into the cooking chamber 20. The electrical wiring of this core temperature sensor can also be attached to and detached from the arm 29b from the outside.

[0028] As shown in Figures 9 and 10(a), a strainer 50 is provided on the circular drain outlet 20c formed in the rear part of the bottom wall of the cooking chamber 20, and the strainer 50 covers the drain outlet 20c in a manner that allows water and air to pass through so that solid objects (foreign objects) such as small pieces of food do not enter the drain outlet 20c. The strainer 50 includes a circular annular frame 51 having a diameter larger than the drain outlet 20c, and a filter section 52 using a metal mesh member provided inside the annular frame 51. The filter section 52 covers the drain outlet 20c in a manner that allows water and air to pass through, and includes a circular annular rising section 53 that rises upward outside the drain outlet 20c, and an insertion recess 54 that is recessed inside the rising section 53 so as to be inserted into the drain outlet 20c.

[0029] When food ingredients are cooked in the cooking chamber 20, small pieces of food ingredients (solid matter) may fall from the tray to the bottom of the cooking chamber 20. The fallen small pieces of food ingredients roll toward the drain outlet 20c due to the convection of hot air, and the drain outlet 20c may be blocked by the small pieces of food ingredients. The small pieces of food ingredients rolling toward the drain outlet 20c of the cooking chamber 20 due to the convection of hot air are restricted from moving toward the inside of the drain outlet 20c by the rising portion 53 of the filter portion 52, so that they are less likely to fall into the fitting recess 54 that is fitted into the inside of the drain outlet 20c. This maintains a state in which water and air in the cooking chamber 20 can pass through the fitting recess 54 to the drain tank 17 via the first drain pipe 16.

[0030] As shown in FIG. 10(b), when a user places the strainer 50 upside down above the drain outlet 20c, the rising portion 53 is larger than the diameter of the drain outlet 20c and no parts protruding above the strainer 50 are provided, so that the upside-down strainer 50 can cover the periphery of the drain outlet 20c with the rising portion 53 without tilting at an angle. In addition, the rising portion 53 of the strainer 50 with the upside-down strainer 50 restricts the movement of small pieces of food toward the inside of the drain outlet 20c, so that the drain outlet 20c is not blocked by solid objects such as small pieces of food. At this time, even if the rising portion 53 is blocked by solid objects such as small pieces of food, the insertion recess 54 arranged to protrude above the drain outlet 20c is not blocked, so the strainer 50 can block the drain outlet 20c while allowing water and air to pass through the inside of the cooking chamber 20. In this embodiment, the diameter of the top of the rising portion 53 is larger than the diameter of the drain outlet 20c, and the top of the rising portion 53 is disposed outside the drain outlet 20c. This is not limited to this, and even if the diameter of the top of the rising portion 53 is smaller than the diameter of the drain outlet 20c, the vicinity of the top of the rising portion 53 can be inserted into the drain outlet 20c, preventing small pieces of food from entering the drain outlet 20c.

[0031] As shown in FIG. 9, the machine room 12 of the housing 11 is provided with a steam generator 60 for supplying steam into the cooking chamber 20. The steam generator 60 generates steam by heating water by induction heating, and is installed upright above the drainage tank 17 provided in the machine room 12. The steam generator 60 includes a cylindrical steam generating vessel 61 that stores water at a predetermined water level, a heating element 62 that heats the water in the steam generating vessel 61, an induction heating coil 63 that is wound around the outer periphery of the steam generating vessel 61 and generates heat in the heating element, and a steam delivery tube 64 that delivers steam generated in the steam generating vessel 61 to the cooking chamber 20. The steam delivery tube 64 is connected to a steam inlet 20b formed on the left wall of the cooking chamber 20, and the steam generated in the steam generating vessel 61 is delivered from the steam inlet 20b through the steam delivery tube 64 into the cooking chamber 20.

[0032] 11, the cooking device 10 includes a control device 70, which is connected to the heater 25, the convection fan 26, the temperature sensor 27, and the steam generator 60. The control device 70 has a microcomputer (not shown), which includes a CPU, a RAM, a ROM, and a timer (all not shown) that are connected to each other via a bus.

[0033] The control device 70 has cooking programs stored in the ROM for cooking ingredients in the cooking chamber 20. The cooking programs include three types of cooking programs: a hot air mode cooking program for cooking ingredients with convecting hot air by activating the heater 25 and the convection fan 26, a steam mode cooking program for cooking ingredients with convecting hot air containing steam by activating the convection fan 26 and the steam generator 60, and a combination mode cooking program for cooking ingredients with convecting high-temperature hot air containing steam by activating the heater 25, the convection fan 26, and the steam generator 60. The ROM stores cooking programs in which the set temperature, amount of steam, and cooking time in the cooking chamber 20 are preset, and the set temperature, amount of steam, and cooking time of the cooking chamber 20 for the cooking program can be set by the user.

[0034] When the hot air mode cooking program of the cooking program is executed, the air in the cooking chamber 20 is circulated as hot air by the operation of the heater 25 and the convection fan 26, and the food stored in the cooking chamber 20 is cooked by the convection of the hot air. When the combination mode cooking program of the cooking program is executed, the air in the cooking chamber 20 is circulated as hot air by the operation of the heater 25 and the convection fan 26, and steam is supplied from the steam generator 60 to the cooking chamber 20, so that the hot air circulating in the cooking chamber 20 contains steam, and the food stored in the cooking chamber 20 is cooked by the convection of the hot air containing steam.

[0035] The cooking device 10 configured as described above includes a cooking chamber 20 for cooking ingredients, a heater 25 for heating the inside of the cooking chamber 20, a convection fan 26 for circulating air in the cooking chamber 20, a drain outlet 20c provided at the bottom of the cooking chamber 20, and a mesh plate 50 for covering the drain outlet 20c to allow water and air to pass through. In this cooking device 10, the mesh plate 50 includes an annular frame portion 51 having a diameter larger than the drain outlet 20c of the cooking chamber 20, and a filter portion 52 using a mesh member provided inside the annular frame portion 51, and the filter portion 52 includes an annular rising portion 53 rising upward outside the drain outlet 20c, and an insertion recess 54 recessed inside the rising portion 53 so as to be inserted into the drain outlet 20c.

[0036] The filter portion 52 of the strainer 50 has a rising portion 53 that rises upward on the outside of the drain outlet 20c inside the annular frame portion 51, so that the rising portion 53 prevents solid matter such as small pieces of food from moving and makes it difficult for them to enter the insertion recess 54 in the drain outlet 20c. This makes it difficult for the strainer 50 to enter a state in which water and air cannot pass through, and makes it difficult for the drain outlet 20c to be blocked by solid matter such as small pieces of food. In addition, since there is no protrusion such as a stand that stands up a tablet-shaped solid detergent as explained in the prior art on the upper side of the strainer 50, when the strainer 50 is attached to the drain outlet 20c upside down, the strainer 50 is unlikely to be attached at an angle to the peripheral edge of the drain outlet 20c.

[0037] Furthermore, even when the upside-down strainer 50 is attached to the drain outlet 20c, with the rising portion 53 abutting the periphery of the drain outlet 20c, the upper side of the drain outlet 20c is covered by the fitting recess 54 in a manner allowing water and air to pass through. As a result, the drain outlet 20c is covered by the upside-down strainer 50 in a manner allowing water and air to pass through, and it is possible to prevent solid objects such as small pieces of food from entering the drain outlet 20c.

[0038] In the cooking device 10 configured as described above, the following modified examples may be implemented in order to change the way hot air hits the trays containing ingredients brought into the cooking chamber 20. In the modified example shown in Fig. 12, the rails 24a of the support frame 24 are formed with hot air passage openings 24b for introducing hot air to the upper side of the trays. When this is done, the hot air passes through the upper and lower trays, particularly the tray located on the lower side through which hot air has difficulty passing, and the degree of heating of each tray can be improved.

[0039] In addition, in this cooking device 10, the upper and lower ends of the partition plate 23 are formed with bent portions that are bent toward the food storage chamber, and the partition plate 23 is removably attached to the inside of the cooking chamber 20 by inserting mounting pins provided on the upper and lower sides of the cooking chamber 20 into insertion holes formed in the upper and lower bent portions. When attaching the partition plate 23, the upper mounting pin of the cooking chamber 20 is inserted into the insertion hole of the upper bent portion of the partition plate 23 while lifting the partition plate 23 at an angle, and the lower mounting pin of the cooking chamber 20 is inserted into the insertion hole of the lower bent portion 23c of the partition plate 23 while raising the partition plate 23 vertically and moving it downward. In this case, the vertical width of the upper ventilation passage 23b becomes large, and there is a risk that a lot of heat will be applied to the food in the tray stored in the upper part of the cooking chamber 20.

[0040] 13, a mounting hole 23e that is continuous with the insertion hole 23d of the lower bent portion 23c is formed in the lower end of the partition plate 23, and a stopper 23f made of a leaf spring member that detachably engages with the lower mounting pin 20e is provided at the position where the mounting hole 23e is formed. By forming the mounting hole 23e that is continuous with the insertion hole 23d of the lower bent portion 23c in the lower end of the partition plate 23, the upper mounting pin (not shown) of the cooking chamber 20 is inserted into the insertion hole 23d of the upper bent portion 23c of the partition plate 23, and the lower mounting pin 20e of the cooking chamber 20 is inserted into the mounting hole 23e at the lower end of the partition plate 23 without raising the partition plate 23 vertically, and the stopper 23f is engaged with the mounting pin 20e at the lower end of the partition plate 23. By forming mounting holes 23e at the lower end of partition plate 23, which are continuous with insertion holes 23d of bent portion 23c, it is no longer necessary to lift partition plate 23 upward and then insert it from above into mounting pins 20e on the lower side of cooking chamber 20. This makes it possible to reduce the gap in ventilation passage 23b between the upper surface of cooking chamber 20 and the upper side of partition plate 23, and to suppress the heating of ingredients in the tray stored on the top level inside cooking chamber 20.
