Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present disclosure relates to an electricity storage device mounted on a vehicle. [Background technology]
[0002] As a conventional energy storage device, JP 2006-228526 A (Patent Document 1) discloses a configuration in which a battery module cover covering a battery module is fixed non-detachably to a lower case supporting a battery module and auxiliary components (equipment members), and an auxiliary component cover covering the auxiliary components is fixed detachably to the lower case. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2006-228526 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] In the configuration disclosed in Patent Document 1, the auxiliary component cover (equipment cover) and the lower case are fastened with a fastening member. If the auxiliary component cover and the lower case are simply fastened with a fastening member, there is a concern that the equipment cover may be deformed when an impact is applied to the electricity storage device, compromising the sealing performance of the electricity storage device.
[0005] The present disclosure has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present disclosure is to provide an energy storage device in which an equipment cover that covers equipment components is provided on a housing case, and which can improve the sealing property of the equipment cover. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] An electricity storage device according to the present disclosure includes an electricity storage module, an equipment member, and a storage case that houses the electricity storage module and the equipment member. The storage case includes a lower case that supports the equipment member and the electricity storage module, an upper case that has an opening such that the equipment member is exposed when viewed from above and that covers the equipment member and the electricity storage module, a reinforcing member fixed to a portion of the upper case that is positioned around the opening, an equipment cover that is fixed to the reinforcing member so as to cover the opening, and a seal member that is disposed between the equipment cover and the reinforcing member and has elasticity and adhesiveness.
[0007] Generally, when a sealing member such as a gasket is placed between the equipment cover and the upper case, and the equipment cover is fastened to the upper case using fastening members, there is a concern that when the energy storage device is subjected to an impact due to a vehicle collision or the like, the fastening by the fastening members may be partially released, compromising the sealing function of the equipment cover.
[0008] As in the above configuration, by fixing the device cover using a seal member having elasticity and adhesiveness, when an impact is applied to the power storage device, the seal member can expand and contract in response to the deformation of the housing case (more specifically, the upper case and the lower case). In addition, since the seal member has adhesiveness, it is possible to prevent the device cover from coming off. In this way, the sealing property of the device cover can be improved.
[0009] In addition, the reinforcing member can increase the rigidity of the area where the device cover is fixed and its surroundings, thereby suppressing deformation of the device cover and its surroundings. For example, if the upper case is made of a thin plate, deformation of the upper case can be suppressed when the sealing member is cut to remove the device cover.
[0010] In the power storage device according to the present disclosure, the device cover may have a top plate portion, and the reinforcing member may have an inner end portion located closer to the opening than the sealing member, and a wall portion extending from the inner end portion toward the top plate portion.
[0011] According to the above-mentioned configuration, the wall portion can increase the rigidity of the reinforcing member. Also, since the wall portion extends toward the top plate portion, it is possible to prevent foreign matter such as cutting chips of the sealing member from entering the storage case through the opening when the sealing member is cut to remove the device cover.
[0012] In the power storage device according to the present disclosure, the device cover may have a first flange portion on an outer periphery located on the opposite side of the sealing member from the side where the opening is located. The reinforcing member may have a second flange portion located on the opposite side of the sealing member from the side where the processed portion is located. In this case, the first flange portion and the second flange portion may be fastened to each other.
[0013] According to the above configuration, when fastening the device cover, the device cover can be fastened to the reinforcing member without drilling fastening holes in the upper case. This makes it possible to prevent liquid from entering the storage case from the outside, compared to a structure in which fastening holes are drilled in the upper case to attach the device cover. Even if the seal member breaks, it is possible to prevent liquid from entering the storage case from the outside through the opening as long as the fastening between the first flange portion and the second flange portion is maintained. Effect of the Invention
[0014] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide an electricity storage device in which a device cover that covers an electronic device is provided on a housing case, and in which the sealing performance of the device cover can be improved. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0027] The lower case 22 supports the multiple power storage modules 10 and the equipment members 50. More specifically, the multiple power storage modules 10 and the equipment members 50 are fixed to the bottom 221 of the lower case 22, thereby supporting the multiple power storage modules 10 and the equipment members 50.
[0028] The upper case 21 has a generally box-like shape that opens downward. The upper case 21 has a ceiling portion 211, a peripheral wall portion 212, and a flange portion 213. The ceiling portion 211 is provided so as to face the bottom portion 221. The peripheral wall portion 212 is provided so as to extend downward from the periphery of the ceiling portion 211. The flange portion 213 is provided so as to bend outward from the lower end side of the peripheral wall portion 212.
[0029] With the lower surface of flange portion 213 and the upper surface of flange portion 223 aligned, flange portion 213 and flange portion 223 are fastened together by a plurality of fastening members 71. In this way, upper case 21 and lower case 22 are joined together.
[0030] When the upper case 21 is joined to the lower case 22, the upper case 21 covers the equipment member 50 and the multiple power storage modules 10. The upper case 21 is provided with an opening 211a so that the equipment member 50 is exposed when viewed from above. The opening 211a is provided in the ceiling portion 211.
[0031] The mounting member 30 is a member for mounting the electricity storage device 1 to a vehicle body. The mounting member 30 includes a first mounting member 31 and a second mounting member 32.
[0032] The first mounting member 31 and the second mounting member 32 are provided so as to protrude outward in the second direction from the peripheral wall portion 222 of the lower case 22. Specifically, the first mounting member 31 is provided so as to protrude to one side in the second direction from a portion of the peripheral wall portion 222 located on one side in the second direction. The second mounting member 32 is provided so as to protrude to the other side in the second direction from a portion of the peripheral wall portion 222 located on the other side in the second direction.
[0033] The first mounting member 31 is attached, for example, to a side frame member on the right side of the vehicle by a fastening member 73. The second mounting member 32 is attached, for example, to a side frame member on the left side of the vehicle by a fastening member 73.
[0034] The equipment member 50 is arranged next to the multiple power storage modules 10 in the first direction. The equipment member 50 is arranged on one side in the first direction (i.e., on the forward side) of the multiple power storage modules 10. The equipment member 50 is, for example, a junction box, a main system relay, a battery ECU, etc.
[0035] The equipment cover 23 is provided so as to cover the opening 211a. The equipment cover 23 covers the equipment member 50 exposed from the opening 211a. The equipment cover 23 is fixed to the reinforcing member 24.
[0036] The device cover 23 has a top plate portion 231 and a first flange portion 233. The first flange portion 233 is provided on the outer periphery of the device cover 23. The outer periphery of the device cover 23 is located on the opposite side to the side on which the opening 211a is located with respect to the sealing member 80 described below. In other words, the outer periphery of the device cover 23 is located outside the sealing member 80. The first flange portion 233 is provided at a position lower in height than the top plate portion 231, for example.
[0037] The reinforcing member 24 is fixed to a portion of the upper case 21 that is located around the opening 211a. The reinforcing member 24 is fixed to the upper surface of the ceiling portion 211 by, for example, spot welding or the like. The reinforcing member 24 may be made of a metal member such as aluminum or SUS.
[0038] The reinforcing member 24 has a plate portion 241, a second flange portion 243, a wall portion 245, and an inner end portion 24a.
[0039] The plate portion 241 is formed, for example, in a frame shape. The plate portion 241 is fixed to the ceiling portion 211 by spot welding as described above. The plate portion 241 has an inner end portion 24a located on the opening side. The inner end portion 24a is located on the inner side (the opening 211a side) of the seal member 80.
[0040] The wall portion 245 extends from the inner end portion 24a toward the top plate portion 231. By providing the wall portion 245, the rigidity of the reinforcing member 24 can be further increased.
[0041] The second flange portion 243 is provided on the outer periphery of the reinforcing member 24. The outer periphery of the reinforcing member 24 is located on the opposite side of the seal member 80 to the side on which the opening 211a is located. In other words, the outer periphery of the reinforcing member 24 is located outside the seal member 80. The second flange portion 243 faces the first flange portion 233. The second flange portion 243 may be provided at a position higher than the plate portion 241.
[0042] With the lower surface of the first flange portion 233 and the upper surface of the second flange portion 243 mated, the first flange portion 233 and the second flange portion 243 are fastened together by a plurality of fastening members 72.
[0043] The seal member 80 is disposed between the device cover 23 and the reinforcing member 24. More specifically, the seal member 80 is disposed between the peripheral edge of the top panel portion 231 and the plate portion 241. The seal member 80 is provided so as to surround the opening 211a. The seal member 80 has elasticity and adhesiveness. The seal member 80 is, for example, a urethane adhesive.
[0044] The seal member 80 adhesively fixes the device cover 23 and the reinforcing member 24. The seal member 80 maintains a liquid-tight relationship between the device cover 23 and the reinforcing member 24, and prevents liquid from entering the housing case 20 from the outside through the opening 211a.
[0045] As described above, in the present embodiment, by fixing the equipment cover 23 using the seal member 80 having elasticity and adhesiveness, even if an impact is applied to the electricity storage device 1 due to a collision of the vehicle 100 or the like, the seal member 80 expands and contracts in response to the deformation of the storage case 20 (more specifically, the upper case 21 and the lower case 22). In addition, since the seal member 80 has adhesiveness, it is possible to prevent the equipment cover 23 from coming off. In this way, the sealing property of the equipment cover 23 can be improved.
[0046] Furthermore, the reinforcing member 24 can increase the rigidity of the area where the equipment cover 23 is fixed and its surroundings. This can suppress deformation of the equipment cover 23 and its surroundings. For example, when the upper case 21 is made of a thin plate, it can also suppress deformation of the upper case 21 when the sealing member 80 is cut to remove the equipment cover 23.
[0047] In addition, by providing the wall portion 245 in the reinforcing member 24, the rigidity of the reinforcing member 24 itself can be increased. Also, by extending the wall portion 245 toward the top plate portion 231, when the sealing member 80 is cut to remove the device cover 23, foreign matter such as cuttings of the sealing member 80 can be prevented from entering the storage case 20 through the opening 211a.
[0048] Furthermore, by fastening the first flange portion 233 and the second flange portion 243, it is possible to fix the device cover 23 without providing fastening holes in the upper case 21. This makes it possible to suppress the intrusion of liquid from the outside into the storage case 20, as compared to a structure in which fastening holes are drilled in the upper case 21 to attach the device cover 23. Even if the seal member 80 breaks, it is possible to suppress the intrusion of liquid from the outside into the storage case 20 through the opening 211a, as long as the fastening between the first flange portion 233 and the second flange portion 243 is maintained.
[0049] The embodiments disclosed herein are illustrative and not restrictive in all respects. The scope of the present invention is defined by the claims, and includes all modifications within the meaning and scope of the claims. [Explanation of symbols]
