Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present disclosure relates to vehicle interior materials. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, the technology described in Patent Document 1 has been known as a vehicle interior material. Patent Document 1 discloses that the vehicle interior material (door trim) has an armrest made of a synthetic resin material or the like, and has a notch portion that is partially thinned by forming a V-shaped groove extending in the front-rear direction on the back surface of the upper surface of the armrest. When an impact is applied to the side of the upper surface of the armrest, the load caused by the impact is concentrated in the notch portion, and the upper surface bends with the notch portion as the base point, absorbing the impact. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2011-240875 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] In the configuration disclosed in Patent Document 1, it is desired to improve the shock absorption of the vehicle interior material by enabling the vehicle interior material to deform in a targeted manner with the notch portion as a base point when an impact is applied to the vehicle interior material. On the other hand, in the notch portion where the thickness is partially thinned, for example, due to shrinkage of the synthetic resin material, there is a risk that the design of the vehicle interior material will be impaired due to poor appearance on the design surface side.

[0005] The present disclosure is a technology completed based on the above circumstances, and has an object to provide a vehicle interior material that improves impact absorption and suppresses deterioration of design due to poor appearance. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] The present disclosure relates to an interior material for a vehicle comprising: a bulging portion that bulges into the interior of the vehicle cabin; and a plate-shaped first plate portion located on the exterior side of the vehicle cabin of the bulging portion, wherein the first plate portion comprises a main body portion whose plate surface extends in the vertical direction and in the interior and exterior directions of the vehicle cabin; and a raised portion that is formed along at least an end portion of the main body portion extending in the interior and exterior directions of the vehicle cabin and rises forward or rearward from the end portion, wherein the raised portion comprises a wide portion and a narrow portion whose width in the fore-and-aft direction is narrower than that of the wide portion.

[0007] According to such a vehicle interior material, the rising portion is formed along the end portion extending in the vehicle interior direction of the main body portion whose plate surface extends in the vertical direction and the vehicle interior direction, and rises forward or backward from the end portion, so that the strength against the force applied from the vehicle interior direction to the first plate portion can be increased. In addition, when an occupant in the vehicle compartment hits the bulging portion due to a collision from the side of the vehicle (side impact), for example, and a certain amount of force is applied from the vehicle interior direction to the first plate portion located on the vehicle exterior side of the bulging portion, the first plate portion deforms to absorb the impact. Here, since the rising portion is provided with a wide portion and a narrow portion whose width in the front-rear direction is smaller than that of the wide portion, the force applied from the vehicle interior direction is easily concentrated on the narrow portion, and the main body portion can be deformed so as to bend with the narrow portion as a base point. This makes it possible to suppress the first plate portion from deforming in a shape other than the intended shape during a side impact, and improve the impact absorption of the vehicle interior material. Furthermore, for example, the first plate portion can be deformed in a targeted manner during a side collision, etc., without thinning the thickness of part of the first plate portion, etc., so even if synthetic resin is used as the material for the vehicle interior material, it is possible to prevent the synthetic resin from shrinking, etc., and causing poor appearance of the first plate portion, etc.

[0008] In the above configuration, the wide portion may have a shape in which its width in the front-rear direction decreases toward the narrow portion. With such an interior material for a vehicle, a force applied to the rising portion due to a side collision or the like is likely to be concentrated on the narrow portion, making it easier to deform the first plate portion into a desired shape.

[0009] In the above configuration, the main body may be shaped to cover the rear end of the bulge on the outside of the vehicle cabin. With this configuration, even if the rear end of the bulge is exposed when the door to which the vehicle interior material is attached is opened, the main body covers the rear end on the outside of the vehicle cabin, preventing the internal structure of the bulge from being visible from the rear end, thereby suppressing a decrease in the design of the vehicle interior material.

[0010] In the above configuration, the bulge may be provided on an armrest, the first plate may be provided on a cover together with a second plate to which another member can be attached, and may rise from the second plate toward the inside of the vehicle compartment, and the armrest may be attached to the cover. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a vehicle interior material in which an impact can be absorbed by the first plate in the cover to which the armrest and another member are attached.

[0011] In the above configuration, the rising portion may include an inner rising portion formed along an end portion extending in the vertical direction of the main body portion and located on the inside of the vehicle cabin relative to the narrow portion, and the first plate portion may include a rib rising from the main body portion on the outside of the vehicle cabin of the inner rising portion. With this vehicle interior material, the strength of the portion of the main body portion where the rib is provided (sometimes referred to as a high-strength portion) can be made relatively high. In the event of a side collision or the like, the main body portion can be deflected along the boundary between the high-strength portion and other portions with the narrow portion as a base point, making it easier to further deform the first plate portion into a desired shape.

[0012] In the above configuration, the rib may be configured such that a length in the interior / exterior direction of the vehicle is shorter than the distance between the narrow width portion and the inner raised portion. With such a vehicle interior material, in the event of a side collision or the like, the main body portion can be effectively deflected along the boundary between the high strength portion and the other portion, with the narrow width portion as a base point, making it easier to deform the first plate portion into a targeted shape. Effect of the Invention

[0013] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide a vehicle interior material that improves impact absorption properties and that suppresses deterioration of design due to poor appearance. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0015] <Embodiment> An embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to Fig. 1 to Fig. 7. In this embodiment, a door trim (vehicle interior material) 100 will be described which is attached from the inside of the vehicle compartment to a door panel, which is a metal plate constituting the door of an automobile (vehicle). Each figure will be described with the arrow direction FR indicating the front, the arrow direction RR indicating the rear, the arrow direction U indicating the up, the arrow direction D indicating the down, the arrow direction IN indicating the inside of the vehicle compartment, and the arrow direction OUT indicating the outside of the vehicle compartment.

[0016] As shown in Fig. 1, the door trim 100 is configured by assembling a plurality of plate-like members. The door trim 100 includes, as the plurality of plate-like members, an upper board 10, an ornament board 20 disposed below the upper board 10, an armrest 30 disposed below the ornament board 20, a middle board 40 disposed below the armrest 30, and a lower board 50 disposed below the middle board 40. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the door trim 100 includes a cover 60 to which a rear end 10R of the upper board 10, a rear end 20R of the ornament board 20, a rear end 30R of the armrest 30, and a rear end 40R of the middle board 40 are attached. The cover 60 is disposed on the outer side of the vehicle cabin of the upper board 10, the ornament board 20, the armrest 30, and the middle board 40, and forms a plate-like body extending in a direction (up-down direction) intersecting the direction in which these components extend (front-rear direction).

[0017] The door trim 100 can be manufactured by attaching the lower end of a member (e.g., the middle board 40) arranged above the upper end of a member (e.g., the lower board 50) to the upper end of the member arranged below in order from the outside of the vehicle compartment. As shown in FIG. 2, the lower end 30D of the armrest 30 is attached to the upper end 40U of the middle board 40 so as to overlap with it on the outside of the vehicle compartment (the front side of the paper). Similarly, the lower end 20D of the ornament board 20 is attached to the upper end 30U of the armrest 30 so as to overlap with it on the outside of the vehicle compartment. The lower end 10D of the upper board 10 is attached to the upper end 20U of the ornament board 20 so as to overlap with it on the outside of the vehicle compartment. A cover 60 is attached to the rear ends 10R, 20R, 30R, 40R of these multiple plate-like members so as to overlap with them on the outside of the vehicle compartment. In this way, the cover 60 is the last component to be attached, spanning the rear ends 10R, 20R, 30R, 40R of the multiple plate-like components. Therefore, even when the door trim 100 is made up of multiple plate-like components as in this embodiment, the accuracy of assembly can be improved.

[0018] As shown in Fig. 3, the upper board 10, the ornament board 20, and the middle board 40 have rear end faces 10R1, 20R1, and 40R1 at their respective rear end parts 10R, 20R, and 40R, the plate surfaces of which extend in the vertical direction and in the interior and exterior directions of the vehicle. These rear end faces 10R1, 20R1, and 40R1 are flush with the plate surface of the main body part 71 of the first plate part 70 of the cover 60, which will be described later, and are shaped to be slightly inclined forward as they extend downward. The rear end part 20R of the ornament board 20 is shaped so that the surface facing the interior of the vehicle is shaped to be inclined toward the exterior of the vehicle as it extends downward.

[0019] The armrest 30 includes a bulging portion 31 that bulges from the ornament board 20 and the middle board 40 toward the interior of the vehicle. The bulging portion 31 includes a bulging upper portion 32 that rises from the lower end 20D of the ornament board 20 toward the interior of the vehicle, a bulging end portion 33 that is located on the interior side of the bulging upper portion 32 and has a rounded shape, and a bulging lower portion 34 that is located below the bulging end portion 33 and curves slightly toward the exterior of the vehicle as it goes downward. An occupant can place his / her arm on the bulging upper portion 32. An upper end portion 40U of the middle board 40 is located below the bulging lower portion 34. The rear end portion 30R of the armrest 30 is a portion where the rear ends of the bulging upper portion 32, the bulging end portion 33, and the bulging lower portion 34 are connected, and is equal to the rear end portion of the bulging portion 31. The rear end portion 30R of the bulging portion 31 is U-shaped when viewed from behind.

[0020] As shown in Fig. 4, the cover 60 includes a plate-like second plate portion 61 that constitutes the majority of the cover 60 and whose plate surface extends in the up-down and front-rear directions, and a plate-like first plate portion 70 that rises from a lower portion 69 of the second plate portion 61 toward the inside of the vehicle cabin. The second plate portion 61 includes a rear side portion 62 that has an arc-shaped outer shape when viewed from the front (when viewed from the inside of the vehicle cabin), and a front side portion 63 that is located in front of the rear side portion 62. The front side portion 63 includes a plurality of holes 64 to which the rear ends 10R, 20R, and 40R (see Fig. 2) of the upper board 10, the ornament board 20, and the middle board 40 (each of which may be referred to as other members) can be attached by attachment members (clips, bosses, screws, etc.), a bridging portion 67 that bridges between the center portion 65 and the lower portion 66 and is located in front of the first plate portion 70, and an opening portion 68 that is provided between the bridging portion 67 and the first plate portion 70 and extends in the up-down direction. The bridge portion 67 has a hole portion 64A to which the rear end portion 30R of the armrest 30 and the rear end portion 20R of the ornament board 20 can be attached by being fastened together with an attachment member.

[0021] 4 to 7, the first plate portion 70 includes a plate-shaped main body portion 71 that constitutes the majority of the first plate portion 70 and has a plate surface that extends in the vertical direction and in the interior and exterior directions of the vehicle, and a plate-shaped rising portion 73 that rises forward from an end portion 72 of the main body portion 71. As shown in Fig. 3, the first plate portion 70 is located on the exterior side of the vehicle compartment of the bulging portion 31.

[0022] 3 and 4, the main body 71 rises from the lower portion 69 of the front portion 63 of the second plate portion 61 toward the inside of the vehicle cabin, and covers the rear end 30R of the bulging portion 31 (armrest 30) from the outside of the vehicle cabin. Specifically, the end 72 of the main body 71 is shaped to follow the external shape (U-shape) of the rear end 30R of the bulging portion 31, and among the end 72, an upper end 72A located on the upper side and extending in the interior and exterior direction of the vehicle cabin abuts against the exterior portion 32A of the bulging upper portion 32, and an inner end 72B located on the inside of the vehicle cabin and extending in the vertical direction abuts against the exterior portion 34A of the bulging lower portion 34, thereby covering the rear end 30R of the bulging portion 31 from the outside of the vehicle cabin.

[0023] 4 to 7, the rising portion 73 includes an upper rising portion 73A formed along the upper end portion 72A, and an inner rising portion 73B formed along the inner end portion 72B and positioned closer to the inside of the vehicle cabin than a narrow width portion 73A2 (described later). The inner rising portion 73B is connected to the end portion of the upper rising portion 73A on the inside of the vehicle cabin, and is inclined toward the outside of the vehicle cabin as it extends downward.

[0024] As shown in Fig. 4, the upper rising portion 73A is inclined slightly downward toward the front. As shown in Fig. 6 and Fig. 7, the upper rising portion 73A has two wide portions 73A1 and 73A3 arranged side by side in the interior and exterior direction of the vehicle, and a narrow portion 73A2 arranged between the two wide portions 73A1 and 73A3. When viewed from above (see Fig. 7), the front end of the upper rising portion 73A has a gentle V-shape.

[0025] The narrow portion 73A2 has a smaller width D1 in the front-rear direction than the wide portions 73A1 and 73A3. For example, the width D1 in the front-rear direction of the narrow portion 73A2 is smaller than the width D2 in the front-rear direction at the lower end of the lower wide portion 73A3. The wide portions 73A1 and 73A3 have a shape in which the width in the front-rear direction decreases toward the narrow portion 73A2 side. The wide portion 73A1 arranged on the outer side of the narrow portion 73A2 becomes smaller in width in the front-rear direction toward the inner side of the vehicle compartment, and the wide portion 73A3 arranged on the interior side of the narrow portion 73A2 becomes smaller in width in the front-rear direction toward the outer side of the vehicle compartment.

[0026] As shown in Figs. 5 and 6, the first plate portion 70 includes a plurality of ribs 80 rising forward from the main body portion 71 on the vehicle cabin outer side of the inner rising portion 73B. The plurality of ribs 80 extend in the vehicle cabin interior / exterior direction and are triangular plate-like when viewed from above. The plurality of ribs 80 include a first rib 81, a second rib 82 provided below the first rib 81, and a third rib 83 provided below the second rib 82. As shown in Fig. 5, the plurality of ribs 80 extend from the inner rising portion 73B toward the vehicle cabin exterior to a position not exceeding the narrow width portion 73A2. In addition, the length of the plurality of ribs 80 in the vehicle cabin interior / exterior direction is shorter than the distance D4 between the narrow width portion 73A2 and the inner rising portion 73B in the vehicle cabin interior / exterior direction. For example, the length D3 of the first rib 81 in the vehicle cabin interior / exterior direction is shorter than the distance D4 between the narrow width portion 73A2 and the inner rising portion 73B in the vehicle cabin interior / exterior direction.

[0027] Next, the effects of this embodiment will be described. The door trim 100 in this embodiment includes a bulging portion 31 that bulges into the interior of the vehicle, and a plate-shaped first plate portion 70 that is located on the exterior side of the bulging portion 31. The first plate portion 70 includes a main body portion 71 whose plate surface extends in the vertical direction and in the interior-exterior direction of the vehicle, and a rising portion 73 that is formed along an end portion 72 of the main body portion 71 that extends at least in the interior-exterior direction of the vehicle and rises forward or backward from the end portion 72. The rising portion 73 includes wide portions 73A1, 73A3, and a narrow portion 73A2 that is narrower in width in the front-rear direction than the wide portions 73A1, 73A3.

[0028] According to such door trim 100, the rising portion 73 is formed along the end portion 72 extending in the interior and exterior direction of the main body portion 71 whose plate surface extends in the up-down direction and in the interior and exterior directions, and rises forward or rearward from the end portion 72, thereby increasing the strength of the first plate portion 70 against forces applied from the interior and exterior direction. Also, when an occupant in the vehicle hits the bulging portion 31 due to a collision from the side of the vehicle (side impact) or the like, and a force of a certain level or more is applied from the interior and exterior direction to the first plate portion 70 located on the exterior side of the bulging portion 31, the first plate portion 70 deforms to absorb the impact. Here, the rising portion 73 is provided with the wide portions 73A1, 73A3 and the narrow portion 73A2, which is narrower in the front-rear direction than the wide portions 73A1, 73A3, so that the force applied from the interior / exterior direction of the vehicle is easily concentrated on the narrow portion 73A2, and the main body portion 71 can be deformed so as to bend with the narrow portion 73A2 as a base point. This makes it possible to suppress the first plate portion 70 from being deformed in a shape other than the intended shape during a side collision or the like, and improve the impact absorption of the door trim 100. In addition, since the first plate portion 70 can be deformed in the intended shape during a side collision or the like without thinning the plate thickness of a part of the first plate portion 70, for example, even if a synthetic resin is used as the material of the door trim 100, it is possible to suppress the synthetic resin from shrinking, etc., and causing poor appearance of the first plate portion 70, etc.

[0029] The wide portions 73A1, 73A3 are shaped so that their widths in the front-rear direction become smaller toward the narrow portion 73A2. With this door trim 100, the force applied to the rising portion 73 due to a side collision or the like tends to be concentrated on the narrow portion 73A2, making it easier to deform the first plate portion 70 into a desired shape.

[0030] The main body 71 is shaped to cover the exterior side of the vehicle compartment of the rear end 30R of the bulging portion 31. With this configuration, even when the rear end 30R of the bulging portion 31 is exposed as the door to which the door trim 100 is attached is opened, the main body 71 is shaped to cover the exterior side of the vehicle compartment of the rear end 30R, so that the internal structure of the bulging portion 31 is prevented from being viewed from the rear end 30R, and the design of the door trim 100 is prevented from being deteriorated.

[0031] The bulge 31 is provided on the armrest 30, and the first plate 70 is provided on the cover 60 together with the second plate 61 to which the other members 10, 20, 40 can be attached, and rises from the second plate 61 toward the inside of the vehicle compartment, and the armrest 30 is attached to the cover 60. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a door trim 100 in which the first plate 70 can absorb impacts in the cover 60 to which the armrest 30 and the other members 10, 20, 40 are attached.

[0032] The rising portion 73 is formed along the end portion 72 extending in the vertical direction of the main body portion 71, and includes an inner rising portion 73B located on the inner side of the vehicle cabin than the narrow width portion 73A2, and the first plate portion 70 includes a rib 80 rising from the main body portion 71 on the outer side of the vehicle cabin of the inner rising portion 73B. With this door trim 100, the strength of the portion of the main body portion 71 where the rib 80 is provided (shown as high strength portion 71A in FIG. 5) can be made relatively high. In the event of a side collision or the like, the main body portion 71 can be deflected along the boundary between the high strength portion 71A and the other portion 71B (the portion of the high strength portion 71A on the outer side of the vehicle cabin) with the narrow width portion 73A2 as the base point, and the first plate portion 70 can be easily deformed into a desired shape.

[0033] The rib 80 is configured such that the length D3 in the interior / exterior direction is shorter than the distance D4 between the narrow width portion 73A2 and the inner rising portion 73B. With this door trim 100, in the event of a side collision or the like, the main body portion 71 can be deformed well along the boundary between the high strength portion 71A and the other portion 71B with the narrow width portion 73A2 as the base point, making it easier to deform the first plate portion 70 into a desired shape.

[0034] <Other embodiments> The present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described above and in the drawings, and for example, the following embodiments are also included within the technical scope of the present disclosure. Furthermore, in addition to the embodiments described below, various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present disclosure.

[0035] (1) In addition to the above-described embodiment, the member on which the first plate portion is provided can be changed as appropriate. In the above-described embodiment, the first plate portion is provided on the cover, but this is not limited to this. For example, the first plate portion may be provided on an ornament board, a middle board, or a lower board. That is, these members may also serve as the cover. In this case, the rear end portions of these members may extend toward the outside of the vehicle cabin at the rear end portion of the armrest to form the second plate portion, and the first plate portion may rise from this second plate portion.

[0036] (2) In the above embodiment, the first plate portion is located on the outside of the vehicle cabin at the rear end of the bulging portion, but this is not limited to this. For example, the first plate portion may be located on the outside of the vehicle cabin at the front end of the bulging portion or on the outside of the vehicle cabin at the center of the bulging portion in the front-rear direction. In this case, the rising portion may rise rearward from the end of the main body portion.

[0037] (3) In the above embodiment, the bulge is provided on the armrest, but this is not limited to this. For example, the bulge may be provided on other members such as an ornament board or a middle board. [Explanation of symbols]
