Abstract
To provide a steering device that can appropriately ensure power required for operating a rotation suppression unit even when a power supply of a vehicle is turned off.SOLUTION: A steering device includes a steering actuator 12 and a turning actuator 31 configured such that a power transmission path between the steering actuator 12 and the turning actuator is separated. Power is supplied from a main power supply 46 to the steering actuator 12 and the turning actuator 31 in conjunction with an on-state of a start switch 47. Meanwhile, power from the main power supply 46 is shut down in conjunction with an off-state of the start switch 47. The steering device includes a steering side motor 13 that operates to suppress the rotation of a steering wheel during an operation period when the start switch 47 is in an off-state. Also, the steering device includes an auxiliary power supply 71 separately from the main power supply 46 that supplies power to the steering side motor 13 during the operation period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
