Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to lower limb clothing and a method for manufacturing the same.

Background Art

[0002] For example, Patent Document 1 discloses lower limb clothing with a so-called step pressure design, which is designed such that the pressure applied decreases stepwise from the ankle towards the thigh when worn. The lower limb clothing of Patent Document 1 uses a stretchable fabric mainly composed of polyurethane or the like, and applies pressure to the human body by being worn in a stretched state on the lower limbs. This lower limb clothing is manufactured as a so-called cut-and-sew by sewing the cut fabric. When manufacturing lower limb clothing as a cut-and-sew, the fabric can be obtained at a lower cost compared to the case of using a circular knitted fabric, so that the lower limb clothing can be provided at a low price. In the lower limb clothing of Patent Document 1, the cut fabric is sewn by a flat seamer. Sewing the fabric by a flat seamer can provide a good wearing feeling when the lower limb clothing is worn on the lower limbs.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0004] In recent years, lower limb clothing with a step pressure design is required to have a casual appearance that can be easily worn not only as indoor clothing or underwear but also as outerwear. Since the lower limb clothing of Patent Document 1 uses a fabric mainly composed of polyurethane or the like, it gives an impression similar to that of underwear such as tights, and does not give an impression similar to that of outerwear.

[0005] In order to improve the visual casualness, it is conceivable to use a fabric mainly composed of cotton, such as denim fabric. However, since a fabric mainly composed of cotton is difficult to stretch, when manufacturing lower limb clothing, the wearing pressure value tends to be low. Also, when trying to sew a fabric mainly composed of cotton with a flat seam in order to provide a good wearing feeling, since the fabric is difficult to stretch, it may be difficult to set the fabric to be sewn on the arm of a flat seam sewing machine in a state where the fabrics to be sewn are overlapped. Therefore, it is difficult to manufacture lower limb clothing with a stepwise wearing pressure design using a flat seam for sewing as a cut-and-sew.

[0006] The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide lower limb clothing and a method for manufacturing lower limb clothing that can easily manufacture a cut-and-sew with a stepwise wearing pressure design even with a fabric mainly composed of cotton.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0007] Lower limb clothing according to an embodiment of the present invention is lower limb clothing that is worn on a human lower limb so as to cover from the ankle to the thigh of the human body, and is designed such that when worn on the lower limb, the wearing pressure gradually decreases from the ankle toward the thigh. The lower limb clothing includes a front body covering the front of the lower limb and a back body covering the back of the lower limb. The front body and the back body are composed of a fabric mainly composed of cotton. The front body and the back body are sewn by an overlock along the axial direction at a position corresponding to one of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb, and are sewn by a flat seam along the axial direction at a position corresponding to the other of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb.

[0008] The front body and the back body include a shorts portion covering the upper thigh of the human body. The front body and the back body may be sewn by an overlock along the axial direction at a position corresponding to the inner side of the lower limb, and may be sewn by a flat seam along the axial direction at a position corresponding to the outer side of the lower limb.

[0009] The base fabric may be knitted by inlay knitting.

[0010] The base fabric may be composed of 50% or more and 70% or less of cotton, 20% or more and 40% or less of polyester, and 5% or more and 25% or less of polyurethane.

[0011] A method for manufacturing lower limb clothing according to an embodiment of the present invention is the above method for manufacturing lower limb clothing, including a step of sewing the front body piece and the back body piece with a flat seamer at a position corresponding to one of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb, and a step of sewing the front body piece and the back body piece with an overlock at a position corresponding to the other of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb, and performing the step of sewing with the overlock after the step of sewing with the flat seamer.

Advantages of the Invention

[0012] According to the lower limb clothing and the method for manufacturing the lower limb clothing according to an embodiment of the present invention, even a base fabric mainly composed of cotton can easily manufacture a cut saw with a stepwise pressure design.

Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0014] Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a lower limb garment according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. However, the following embodiment is an example, and the lower limb garment of the present invention is not limited to the following example.

[0015] In addition, in this specification, unless otherwise specified, the expression "A shape" and similar expressions do not refer only to a complete A shape, but include a shape that visually reminds one of an A shape (approximate A shape). In this specification, unless otherwise specified, the expression "axial direction" and similar expressions refer to the height direction of the human body, and the expression "radial direction" and similar expressions refer to the direction that goes around the human body with the height direction as the axis. In this specification, unless otherwise specified, the expression "upper" and similar expressions refer to the side from the toe to the head in the human body, and the expression "lower" and similar expressions refer to the side opposite to "upper", that is, the side from the head to the toe in the human body. In this specification, unless otherwise specified, the expression "front" and similar expressions refer to the side facing the abdomen of the human body, and the expression "rear" and similar expressions refer to the side opposite to "front", that is, the side facing the waist of the human body. In this specification, unless otherwise specified, the expression "right" and similar expressions refer to the left side when the human body is viewed from the front, and the expression "left" and similar expressions refer to the side opposite to "right", that is, the right side when the human body is viewed from the front. In this specification, unless otherwise specified, the expression "inner" and similar expressions refer to the side where the left and right legs face each other, and the expression "outer" and similar expressions refer to the side opposite to "inner", that is, the side where the left and right legs do not face each other.

[0016] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the lower limb clothing 1 according to the present embodiment is worn on the lower limbs of the human body B so as to cover from the ankle to the thigh of the human body B, and when worn on the lower limbs, it is designed such that the wearing pressure gradually decreases from the ankle toward the thigh. The shape of the lower limb clothing 1 is not particularly limited as long as it is designed such that the wearing pressure gradually decreases. In the present embodiment, the lower limb clothing 1 includes leg portions 20L, 20R, 30L, and 30R that cover substantially the entire legs of the human body B. In addition to the leg portions 20L, 20R, 30L, and 30R, the lower limb clothing 1 may further include shorts portions 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R that are continuously formed with the leg portions 20L, 20R, 30L, and 30R and cover the upper thighs of the human body B. However, the lower limb clothing 1 may not include the shorts portions 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R, and for example, a configuration including only a leg portion for one leg may be sufficient. The lower limb clothing 1 can be embodied as, for example, stockings, pantyhose, tights, spats, leggings, trunks, etc.

[0017] The leg portions 20L, 20R, 30L, and 30R are not particularly limited, but in the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, they have a cylindrical shape so as to cover substantially the entire vertical direction of the inseam from the ankle to the thigh of the human body B. Specifically, the leg portions 20L, 20R, 30L, and 30R include ankle portions 21L, 21R, 31L, and 31R that cover substantially the entire ankles of the human body B, shin portions 22L, 22R, 32L, and 32R that cover substantially the entire shins of the human body B, and thigh portions 23L, 23R, 33L, and 33R that cover substantially the entire thighs of the human body B. However, depending on the shape of the lower limb clothing 1 to be embodied, the leg portions 20L, 20R, 30L, and 30R may have a cylindrical shape with a bottom at one end so as to cover, for example, up to the toes.

[0018] In this embodiment, the shorts portions 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R cover substantially the entire lower abdomen to the waist and buttocks of the human body B as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. Specifically, the shorts portions 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R have one opening positioned above at the waist of the human body B and two openings communicating with the leg portions 20L, 20R, 30L, and 30R below. The shorts portions 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R may be provided with a waist portion 40 that tightens the waist of the human body B above. In this case, by the waist portion 40 tightening the waist of the human body B, the lower body clothing 1 is suppressed from slipping downward. For example, the waist portion 40 is formed by sewing an annular rubber to the upper end of the main body of the shorts portions 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R. However, the waist portion 40 may be formed by folding the fabric forming the shorts portions 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R in the vertical direction, sewing the ends, and inserting a fixing string into the internal space formed by the folding.

[0019] As described above, the lower body clothing 1 is designed such that when worn on the lower body, the wearing pressure gradually decreases from the ankle toward the thigh. By doing so, when the lower body clothing 1 is worn on the lower body, the lower body clothing 1 compresses the muscles and pushes the blood upward, thereby reducing fatigue and swelling of the lower body. In this embodiment, the leg portions 20L, 20R, 30L, and 30R of the lower body clothing 1 are designed such that the wearing pressure gradually decreases in the order of the ankle portions 21L, 21R, 31L, and 31R, the calf portions 22L, 22R, 32L, and 32R, and the thigh portions 23L, 23R, 33L, and 33R. The wearing pressure design of the lower body clothing 1 may be changed, for example, according to the average body type corresponding to the age and gender of the wearer who is the wearing object of the lower body clothing 1. The wearing pressure of the lower body clothing 1 can be adjusted by changing the length in the circumferential direction D2 of the ankle portions 21L, 21R, 31L, and 31R, the calf portions 22L, 22R, 32L, and 32R, and the thigh portions 23L, 23R, 33L, and 33R at each position in the axial direction D1.

[0020] When the pressure applied by the lower body clothing 1 on the lower body is gradually reduced from the ankle towards the thigh, there are no particular limitations. For example, when the lower body clothing 1 is worn on the lower body of the human body B, preferably, the pressure applied to the ankle (the pressure applied by the ankle parts 21L, 21R, 31L, 31R) is 13 to 30 hPa, the pressure applied to the calf (the pressure applied by the calf parts 22L, 22R, 32L, 32R) is 8 to 25 hPa, and the pressure applied to the thigh (the pressure applied by the thigh parts 23L, 23R, 33L, 33R) can be designed to be 4 to 21 hPa. More preferably, the pressure applied to the ankle can be designed to be 20 to 25 hPa, the pressure applied to the calf can be designed to be 15 to 20 hPa, and the pressure applied to the thigh can be designed to be 10 to 15 hPa.

[0021] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the lower body clothing 1 includes a front body 2 that covers the front of the lower body and a back body 3 that covers the back of the lower body. In this embodiment, the front body 2 includes a left front body 2L that covers the left side of the front of the lower body and a right front body 2R that covers the right side of the front of the lower body. Similarly, the back body 3 includes a left back body 3L that covers the left side of the back of the lower body and a right back body 3R that covers the right side of the back of the lower body. More specifically, the front body 2 includes a left front body 2L integrally formed without sewing the left front leg part 20L and the left front shorts part 24L, and a right front body 2R integrally formed without sewing the right front leg part 20R and the right front shorts part 24R. Similarly, the back body 3 includes a left back body 3L integrally formed without sewing the left back leg part 30L and the left back shorts part 34L, and a right back body 3R integrally formed without sewing the right back leg part 30R and the right back shorts part 34R. However, the forms of the front body 2 and the back body 3 can be appropriately changed in view of the ease of manufacturing the lower body clothing 1 and the cost, etc., according to the shape of the lower body clothing 1 to be embodied. For example, the front body 2 may be integrally formed without sewing the left front body 2L and the right front body 2R. Similarly, the back body 3 may be integrally formed without sewing the left back body 3L and the right back body 3R. Also, the front body 2 may be formed by sewing the cut ankle parts 21L, 21R, calf parts 22L, 22R, thigh parts 23L, 23R, and shorts parts 24L, 24R. Similarly, the back body 3 may be formed by sewing the cut ankle parts 31L, 31R, calf parts 32L, 32R, thigh parts 33L, 33R, and shorts parts 34L, 34R.

[0022] As described above, the lower body clothing 1 is formed as a cut-and-sew. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 1, the lower body clothing 1 includes a left outer seam SL1 formed by sewing the outer ends (ends in the circumferential direction D2) of the left front body part 2L and the left back body part 3L along the axial direction D1, a left inner seam SL2 formed by sewing the inner lower ends (parts corresponding to the leg parts 20L, 20R, 30L, 30R) of the left front body part 2L and the left back body part 3L along the axial direction D1, a right outer seam SR1 formed by sewing the outer ends (ends in the circumferential direction D2) of the right front body part 2R and the right back body part 3R along the axial direction D1, and a right inner seam SR2 formed by sewing the inner lower ends (parts corresponding to the leg parts 20L, 20R, 30L, 30R) of the right front body part 2R and the right back body part 3R along the axial direction D1. More specifically, as shown in FIG. 1, the lower body clothing 1 further includes a front seam SC1 formed by sewing the inner upper ends (parts corresponding to the shorts parts 24L, 24R, 34L, 34R) of the left front body part 2L and the right front body part 2R along the axial direction D1, and as shown in FIG. 2, a rear seam SC2 formed by sewing the inner upper ends (parts corresponding to the shorts parts 24L, 24R, 34L, 34R) of the left back body part 3L and the right back body part 3R along the axial direction D1. In the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, at the left outer seam SL1, the left inner seam SL2, the right outer seam SR1, the right inner seam SR2, the front seam SC1, and the rear seam SC2, the left front body part 2L, the right front body part 2R, the left back body part 3L, and the right back body part 3R are sewn together, so that the lower body clothing 1 forms clothing as a cut-and-sew. Details of the sewing at the left outer seam SL1, the left inner seam SL2, the right outer seam SR1, the right inner seam SR2, and the rear seam SC2 will be described later.

[0023] The front body part 2 and the back body part 3 are made of a fabric mainly composed of cotton. By doing so, the lower body clothing 1 as a whole gives a casual impression, so that it can be easily used not only as loungewear or underwear but also as outerwear. In this specification, the "main component of the fabric" means a component that occupies 50% or more of the fabric, and "%" means weight %. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, when the lower body clothing 1 is embodied as leggings, the lower body clothing 1 can be made to look like skinny pants. Also, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, if a pocket P is provided on the outer fabric of the front body part 2 or the back body part 3, buttons (not shown) are sewn, or decorations such as logo marks (not shown) are applied, a more casual impression can be given. Furthermore, if the fabric of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 is dyed black or blue, the lower body clothing 1 as a whole gives an impression of being made of denim fabric, so that the lower body clothing 1 can be used more easily.

[0024] The fabric of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 is not particularly limited as long as cotton is the main component. For example, the fabric of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 is preferably composed of 50% or more and 70% or less of cotton, 20% or more and 40% or less of polyester, and 5% or more and 25% or less of polyurethane, and more preferably composed of 50% or more and 60% or less of cotton, 25% or more and 35% or less of polyester, and 10% or more and 20% or less of polyurethane. By containing polyester in the fabric at the above ratio, toughness and wear resistance are imparted to the fabric without impairing the cotton fabric feel, so that the strength of the lower body clothing 1 is improved. Also, by containing polyurethane in the fabric at the above ratio, stretchability is imparted to the fabric to such an extent that the wearing pressure is not impaired, so that the detachability of the lower body clothing 1 is improved. Furthermore, due to the stretchability of polyurethane, the feeling of the legs being constricted is alleviated, so that the wearing feeling is improved and the fit feeling is improved as compared with ordinary denim pants and the like.

[0025] In this embodiment, the fabrics of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 are composed of a plurality of components as described above by weaving using a plurality of types of yarns (single spun yarns or single fibers) spun from single-component fibers. More specifically, for example, when the fabrics of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 are composed of 55% cotton, 30% polyester, and 15% polyurethane, cotton yarn, polyester yarn, and polyurethane yarn are used and woven at a ratio of 55:30:15. In this specification, "yarn" means a raw material for weaving fabrics and is a concept that includes not only single yarns but also multi-filament yarns (for example, ply yarns) obtained by twisting a plurality of single yarns together. However, the fabrics of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 may also be composed of a plurality of components as described above by weaving using only one type of yarn (blended yarn or mixed fiber yarn) spun from fibers of a plurality of components. More specifically, for example, when the fabrics of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 are composed of 55% cotton, 30% polyester, and 15% polyurethane, they may be woven using only the yarn spun by mixing cotton fibers, polyester fibers, and polyurethane fibers at a ratio of 55:30:15.

[0026] In this embodiment, the fabrics of the front body portion 2 and the back body portion 3 are knitted by inlay knitting. By using the fabric knitted by inlay knitting, even if the fabric is knitted into a knitted fabric, sufficient pressure can be applied to the lower limbs of the human body B, and a flexible wearing feeling can be given to the wearer of the lower limb clothing 1. More specifically, the fabrics of the front body portion 2 and the back body portion 3 are knitted fabrics in which cotton appears as the main component of the outer fabric and polyester appears as the main component of the inner fabric, and polyurethane yarns are inserted as inlay yarns in the axial direction D1 or the circumferential direction D2. In this case, since the ratio of cotton appearing from the outer fabric is large with respect to the component ratio of the entire lower limb clothing 1, the lower limb clothing 1 as a whole gives a more casual impression and can be used more casually. In addition, the balance between the pressure applied to the lower limb clothing 1 and the stretchability of the lower limb clothing 1 becomes appropriate, and the wearing feeling of the lower limb clothing 1 becomes good. However, the fabrics of the front body portion 2 and the back body portion 3 are not particularly limited as long as they are fabrics mainly composed of cotton, and may be woven fabrics such as denim fabrics knitted by twill weaving, or non-woven fabrics such as cotton felt.

[0027] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the front body portion 2 and the back body portion 3 are sewn by overlock along the axial direction D1 at a position corresponding to one of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb, and at a position corresponding to the other of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb, they are sewn by a flat seamer along the axial direction D1. By doing so, even when the front body portion 2 and the back body portion 3 are fabrics mainly composed of cotton and have low stretchability, as will be described later, the cut-and-sew of the stepwise pressure design can be easily manufactured. Since the sewing by the flat seamer is substantially flat with respect to the surface of the fabric, the discomfort when the sewing portion touches the human body B is small, and the wearing feeling of the lower limb clothing 1 becomes good. In addition, since the sewing portion by the flat seamer easily adheres to the human body B, even when the human body B slides with respect to the inner fabric of the lower limb clothing 1 due to the movement of the wearer, the pressure applied to the human body B by the lower limb clothing 1 is stable. Note that by using the flat seamer only for the sewing on one of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb clothing 1, a desired pressure can be sufficiently obtained.

[0028] In addition, in this specification, "overlock" means sewing by overcasting using one or two needles, and more specifically, sewing by overcasting using two needles. Further, in this specification, "flat seamer" means sewing by flat sewing using four or more needles, and more specifically, sewing by flat sewing using four to six needles, and even more specifically, sewing by flat sewing using four needles.

[0029] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, in this embodiment, the front body 2 and the back body 3 are sewn by overlock along the axial direction D1 at positions corresponding to the inner side of the lower limbs (left inner seam SL2 and right inner seam SR2), and are sewn by flat seamer along the axial direction D1 at positions corresponding to the outer side of the lower limbs (left outer seam SL1 and right outer seam SR1). In this case, since a sewing portion by flat seamer is provided at a position corresponding to the outer side of the lower limb where the degree of sliding with respect to the lining of the lower limb clothing 1 is large when the wearer moves, the pressure applied to the human body B during the movement of the wearer is further stabilized. Further, in the crotch portions 24L, 24R, 34L, 34R, since they are sewn by flat seamer up to the position corresponding to the upper thigh beyond the position corresponding to the crotch, the pressure applied to the human body B is further stabilized. However, the front body 2 and the back body 3 may be sewn by overlock along the axial direction D1 at positions corresponding to the outer side of the lower limbs (left outer seam SL1 and right outer seam SR1), and may be sewn by flat seamer along the axial direction D1 at positions corresponding to the inner side of the lower limbs (left inner seam SL2 and right inner seam SR2).

[0030] Furthermore, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the left front body part 2L and the right front body part 2R are sewn by a flat seamer along the axial direction D1 at a position (front side sewing part SC1) corresponding to the front central part of the shorts parts 24L and 24R. Also, in the present embodiment, the left back body part 3L and the right back body part 3R are sewn by a flat seamer at a position (rear side sewing part SC2) corresponding to the rear central part of the shorts parts 34L and 34R. In this case, by sewing the shorts parts 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R with a flat seamer, the wearing feeling of the lower body clothing 1 becomes even better. The pressure applied to the upper thigh of the human body B becomes stable. However, the left front body part 2L and the right front body part 2R may be sewn by an appropriate sewing other than a flat seamer such as an overlock at positions (front side sewing part SC1 and rear side sewing part SC2) corresponding to the front and rear central parts of the shorts parts 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R.

[0031] Next, with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, a method for manufacturing lower body clothing according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. However, the following embodiment is an example, and the method for manufacturing lower body clothing of the present invention is not limited to the following example.

[0032] The method for manufacturing the lower body clothing 1 according to the present embodiment includes a step of sewing the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 with a flat seamer at a position corresponding to one of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb (see FIG. 3), and a step of sewing the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 with an overlock at a position corresponding to the other of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb (see FIG. 4). In the method for manufacturing the lower body clothing according to the present embodiment, after the step of sewing with a flat seamer, the step of sewing with an overlock is performed.

[0033] The step of stitching the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 with a flat seam can be performed using a known flat seam sewing machine. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 3, on the arm M10 of the flat seam sewing machine M1, the front body part (left front body part) 2L and the back body part (left back body part) 3L are set in a state where they are overlapped at the left outer seam SL1, and at the overlapped left outer seam SL1, the front body part (left front body part) 2L and the back body part (left back body part) 3L are stitched in the axial direction D1. Similarly, although not particularly shown, on the arm M10 of the flat seam sewing machine M1, the front body part (right front body part) 2R and the back body part (right back body part) 3R are set in a state where they are overlapped at the right outer seam SR1, and at the overlapped right outer seam SR1, the front body part (right front body part) 2R and the back body part (right back body part) 3R are stitched in the axial direction D1.

[0034] Thus, first, one end portion (in this embodiment, the left outer stitching portion SL1 and the right outer stitching portion SR1) of the outer end portion and the inner end portion of the front body 2 and the back body 3 is stitched by a flat seamer. By doing so, in a state where nothing is stitched, one end portion of the front body 2 and the back body 3 can be set on the arm M10 of the flat seamer sewing machine M1 with one end portion overlapped and stitched. On the other hand, when trying to stitch the other end portion (in this embodiment, the left inner stitching portion SL2 and the right inner stitching portion SR2) by a flat seamer in a state where one end portion of the front body 2 and the back body 3 is stitched, it is necessary to set it on the arm M10 of the flat seamer sewing machine M1 in a state where the other end portions of the front body 2 and the back body 3 are overlapped so that the front body 2 and the back body 3 become cylindrical as a whole. In the lower limb clothing 1 with a step-by-step pressing design as in this embodiment, at the ankle portions 21L, 21R, 31L, 31R (see FIGS. 1 and 2) where the diameter is the smallest, the diameter formed by the front body 2 and the back body 3 overlapped in a cylindrical shape may be smaller than the diameter of the arm M10 of the flat seamer sewing machine M1. In this case, if a fabric mainly composed of cotton that is difficult to stretch is used as the fabric of the front body 2 and the back body 3, in a state where they are overlapped in a cylindrical shape, the front body 2 and the back body 3 cannot be properly set on the arm M10 of the flat seamer sewing machine M1, and it becomes difficult to stitch the other end portions of the front body 2 and the back body 3 by the flat seamer.

[0035] The step of stitching the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 by overlock can be performed using a known overlock sewing machine. Specifically, after the step of stitching by a flat seamer, as shown in FIG. 4, on the table M20 of the overlock sewing machine M2, the front body part (left front body part) 2L and the back body part (left back body part) 3L are placed in a state where the fabrics are overlapped at the left inner stitching part SL2 (in other words, the lining of the front body part (left front body part) 2L and the back body part (left back body part) 3L faces outward), and at the overlapped left inner stitching part SL2, the front body part (left front body part) 2L and the back body part (left back body part) 3L are stitched in the axial direction D1. Similarly, although not particularly shown, on the table M20 of the overlock sewing machine M2, the front body part (right front body part) 2R and the back body part (right back body part) 3R are placed in a state where the fabrics are overlapped at the right inner stitching part SR2 (in other words, the lining of the front body part (right front body part) 2R and the back body part (right back body part) 3R faces outward), and at the overlapped right inner stitching part SR2, the front body part (right front body part) 2R and the back body part (right back body part) 3R are stitched in the axial direction D1.

[0036] Thus, after sewing one end of the outer and inner ends of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 (in this embodiment, the left outer stitching part SL1 and the right outer stitching part SR1) with a flat seamer, the other end (in this embodiment, the left inner stitching part SL2 and the right inner stitching part SR2) is sewn by overlock. When sewing the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 by overlock with the front and back of the fabric reversed so that the lining faces outward, unlike sewing with a flat seamer, it is not necessary to overlap the other ends of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 so that the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 become cylindrical as a whole. That is, in the case of overlock sewing, as shown in FIG. 4, on the table M20 of the overlock sewing machine M2, the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 may be set only on one side, left or right, with respect to the feeding direction of the overlock sewing machine M2 (in FIG. 4, the axial direction D1). Therefore, it does not become difficult to overlap the other ends of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 as in the case of sewing with a flat seamer. Thus, even if a fabric mainly composed of cotton that is difficult to stretch is used as the fabric of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3, overlock sewing can be easily performed. Further, after sewing, if the front and back of the fabric are reversed again so as to be in the normal orientation, the overlock sewing parts (in this embodiment, the left inner stitching part SL2 and the right inner stitching part SR2) will not appear as the surface fabric but as the lining, so the appearance of the lower limb clothing 1 is also improved.

[0037] Thereafter, although not particularly shown, in this embodiment, the left front body part 2L and the right front body part 2R are sewn along the axial direction D1 by a flat seamer at a position corresponding to the central part of the shorts parts 24L and 24R (front side sewing part SC1) (refer to the post-sewing figures in FIGS. 1 and 2). Similarly, although not particularly shown, the left rear body part 3L and the right rear body part 3R are sewn along the axial direction D1 by a flat seamer at a position corresponding to the central part of the shorts parts 34L and 34R (rear side sewing part SC2) (refer to the post-sewing figures in FIGS. 1 and 2). Since the shorts parts 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R are considerably wider than the leg parts 20L, 20R, 30L, and 30R, even in a state of being stacked in a cylindrical shape, the shorts parts 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R can be easily set on the arm M10 of the flat seamer sewing machine M1. Thereafter, although not particularly shown, in this embodiment, for example, an annular rubber is sewn to the upper ends of the main bodies of the shorts parts 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R to form the waist part 40 (refer to the post-sewing figures in FIGS. 1 and 2). Through the above steps, the lower limb clothing 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is completed.

[0038] According to the lower limb clothing 1 according to this embodiment configured as described above, the front body part 2 and the rear body part 3 are sewn by overlock along the axial direction D1 at a position corresponding to one of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb, and are sewn by a flat seamer along the axial direction D1 at a position corresponding to the other of the inner and outer sides of the lower limb. By doing so, even a fabric mainly composed of cotton can easily manufacture a cut-and-sew with a step-by-step pressure design.

[0039] In this embodiment, the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 include shirt parts 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R that cover the upper thigh. The front body part 2 and the back body part 3 are sewn along the axial direction D1 by overlock at positions corresponding to the inner sides of the lower limbs, and are sewn along the axial direction D1 by a flat seamer at positions corresponding to the outer sides of the lower limbs. In this case, when the wearer moves, a sewing part by overlock is provided at a position corresponding to the outer side of the lower limb where the degree of sliding with respect to the lining of the lower limb clothing 1 is large, so that the pressure applied to the human body B during the movement of the wearer is further stabilized. Further, in the shirt parts 24L, 24R, 34L, and 34R, since the positions corresponding to the upper thigh are sewn up to the positions corresponding to the upper thigh beyond the positions corresponding to the crotch by a flat seamer, the pressure applied to the human body B is further stabilized.

[0040] In this embodiment, the fabrics of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 are knitted by inlay knitting. In this case, even if the fabric is knitted into a knitted fabric, sufficient pressure can be applied to the lower limbs of the human body B, and a flexible wearing feeling like that of a knitted fabric can be given.

[0041] In this embodiment, the fabrics of the front body part 2 and the back body part 3 are composed of 50% or more and 70% or less of cotton, 20% or more and 40% or less of polyester, and 5% or more and 25% or less of polyurethane. In this case, due to the polyester, toughness and wear resistance are imparted to the fabric without impairing the fabric feel of the cotton, so that the strength of the lower limb clothing 1 is improved. Further, due to the polyurethane, stretchability is imparted to the fabric to such an extent that the pressure is not impaired, so that the detachability of the lower limb clothing 1 is improved.

[0042] The lower limb clothing 1 according to this embodiment is manufactured by performing a step of sewing by overlock after a step of sewing by a flat seamer. In this case, even for a fabric mainly composed of cotton, a cut and sew with a stepwise pressure design can be easily manufactured.
