Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0009] (First Embodiment) An example of a plan view of the packaging container 1 according to this embodiment is shown in Fig. 1(a), and examples of cross-sectional views taken along line A-A' are shown in Figs. 1(b), 1(c), and 1(d). The packaging container 1 includes a container body 10 and a pouring assist member 20. The container body 10 is formed by stacking first sheet materials and sealing the edges. An example of the sealing portion is shown by hatching in Fig. 1(a). The container body 10 has a storage portion 11 surrounded by an edge. The container body 10 may be formed by stacking two first sheet materials, or may be formed by folding back and stacking one first sheet material. The pouring assist member 20 is formed by stacking second sheet materials. The pouring assist member 20 is provided sandwiched between the first sheet materials from inside the storage portion 11 to the outside. As shown in Fig. 1(b), the pouring assist member 20 may be formed by stacking two second sheet materials, or as shown in Figs. 1(c) and 1(d), may be formed by folding back and stacking one second sheet material.
[0010] As an example, the pouring assist member 20 includes a first portion 21 that is disposed outside the storage portion 11 and has a constant width (length in the left-right direction of the drawing), and a second portion 22 that is disposed inside the storage portion 11 and whose width decreases as it moves away from the first portion 21. In the illustrated example, the shape of the second portion 22 is a semi-circular shape, but it is not limited thereto, and other shapes may be used. Also, the side edges in the width direction of the pouring assist member 20 may or may not be connected to each other by the second sheet materials in the first portion 21 (Figs. 1(c) and 1(d)), but in other portions, it is preferable that the second sheet materials are not connected.
[0011] Fig. 2(a) shows a plan view of the pouring assist member 20. The pouring assist member 20 has a protruding edge 23 extending from the first portion 21. The central portion of the edge 23 protrudes in a direction towards the outside of the storage portion 11 from both end portions. In the example shown in Fig. 2(a), the edge 23 has an elliptical arc shape, but the shape of the edge 23 is not limited thereto. Figs. 2(b) and 2(c) show plan views of the pouring assist member 20 according to other examples. In the example shown in Fig. 2(b), both end portions of the edge 23 are rounded chamfered, and the central portion has a straight shape. In the example shown in Fig. 2(c), both end portions of the edge 23 are chamfered at 45°, and the central portion has a straight shape.
[0012] The container body 10 has a funnel portion 12 where the width of the accommodating portion 11 gradually increases as the first sheet material moves away from the portion sandwiching the pouring assistance member 20, and the first sheet material is sealed accordingly.
[0013] Also, the container body 10 has the first sheet material sealed so as to surround the portion outside the accommodating portion 11 of the pouring assistance member 20 to seal the pouring assistance member 20. Note that the sealing location of the first sheet material outside the accommodating portion 11 is preferably provided up to near the pouring assistance member 20. Thereby, until the packaging container 1 described later is opened, the play of the second sheet material of the pouring assistance member 20 is suppressed and it is made difficult to separate, and it is suppressed that the contained material passes through the pouring assistance member 20 before opening. Thereby, it is possible to suppress the contained material from spilling and scattering at the time of opening.
[0014] Also, at a position crossing the portion outside the accommodating portion 11 of the pouring assistance member 20, a strength weakening line 13 is formed in the first sheet material. The strength weakening line 13 is not limited, such as a perforation or a half cut. Note that on the accommodating portion 11 side from the strength weakening line 13, the first sheet material and the second sheet material are sealed, and on the opposite side of the accommodating portion 11, the first sheet material and the second sheet material are not sealed. Note that on the accommodating portion 11 side from the strength weakening line 13, the second sheet material may have a portion sealed over the entire width so that no gap through which the contained material leaks is formed between the second sheet material and the first sheet material, and it does not have to be entirely sealed to the first sheet material. For example, the second portion 22 of the second sheet material does not have to be sealed to the first sheet material. Also, a notch 14 may be provided at the end of the strength weakening line 13 in the container body 10.
[0015] For both the first sheet material and the second sheet material, a material containing paper can be preferably used. The first sheet material is, for example, paper with barrier properties (basis weight 70 g / m 2) / A heat-sealing layer structure can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of transparent vapor-deposited PET (polyethylene terephthalate) 12μm / NY (nylon) 15μm / PE (polyethylene) 50μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of PET 12μm / AL (aluminum foil) 9μm / NY 15μm / PE 50μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of PET 12μm / NY 15μm / AL 7μm / PE 60μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of transparent vapor-deposited PET 12μm / PE 60μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of PET 12μm / AL 9μm / PE 70μm can be adopted. Also, the second sheet material can adopt a layer structure of PE 30μm / paper (basis weight 286.1 g / m 2 ) / PE 30μm. Alternatively, a layer structure of PE 30μm / paper (basis weight 190 g / m 2 ) can be adopted.
[0016] The contents in the accommodating portion 11 are not limited. For example, the accommodating portion 11 can preferably accommodate powders. Note that the contents are accommodated, for example, with one end edge of the container body 10 unsealed and then the rear end edge is sealed.
[0017] The method of pouring out the contents will be described below. First, as shown in FIG. 3, the container body 10 is broken along the strength-weakening line 13, and the portion on the opposite side of the accommodating portion 11 is removed. Thereby, the packaging container 1 is opened, and the portion outside the accommodating portion 11 of the pouring-out assisting member 20 is exposed.
[0018] Next, the portion outside the accommodating portion 11 of the pouring-out assisting member 20 is inserted into the opening of a refill container or the like at the pouring-out destination. This can be done, for example, by folding back the portion of the packaging container 1 where the pouring-out assisting member 20 is provided downward.
[0019] Since the pouring aid member 20 has a shape in which the edge 23 protrudes, the tip portion can be easily inserted into the opening of a refill container or the like first. Then, as the insertion progresses, since the end of the edge 23 and the first portion 21 are connected relatively smoothly, the corner portion of the first portion 21 can be smoothly inserted over the entire width without being caught by the opening of the refill container or the like.
[0020] Thereafter, the entire packaging container 1 is turned downward to pour out the contents. A cross-sectional view including the first portion 21 of the pouring aid member 20 in this state is shown in FIG. 4. As shown in FIG. 4, the pouring aid member 20 is inserted into the opening 30 of the refill container, and due to the weight of the contents, the second sheet materials are separated from each other at the central portion in the width direction, forming an opening. Since the first sheet material and the second sheet material include paper, they have a certain rigidity and dead-hold property, and the opening is likely to be maintained. In particular, the second sheet material makes it easier to maintain the opening. As a result, the contents can pass through the opening suitably. Note that the opening can also be formed when the user pinches the side edge of the first portion 21. Since the width of the first portion 21 of the pouring aid member 20 is constant, it is easy to maintain the state in which the pouring aid member 20 is inserted into the opening 30 of the refill container, and the contents to be poured are less likely to clog compared to the case of a tapered shape.
[0021] Also, when pouring out the contents, due to the movement of the contents, when the storage portion 11 expands in the vicinity of the funnel portion 12 and the first sheet materials are separated from each other, the storage portion 11 becomes funnel-shaped, so that the contents can be poured out suitably. Also, in the inner portion of the storage portion 11 of the pouring aid member 20, the second sheet materials are also separated from each other along the funnel shape of the first sheet materials. However, since the width of the second portion 22 provided in this portion becomes smaller as it moves away from the first portion 21, it is easy to follow the funnel shape of the first sheet materials, and it is less likely to affect the deformation of the first sheet materials accompanying the movement of the contents, and does not prevent the pouring of the contents.
[0022] As described above, in the packaging container 1 according to the present embodiment, by providing the pouring assist member 20 formed of the second sheet material including paper having a certain rigidity and dead-holding property, an opening can be preferably formed and maintained, so that the content can be preferably poured out. Further, since the first sheet material including paper is used for the container body 10 and the second sheet material including paper is used for the pouring assist member 20, the amount of use of a resin material or the like can be reduced, and the environmental load can be reduced. Further, particularly due to the edge 23, it is possible to easily insert the pouring assist member 20 into the opening of a refill container or the like.
[0023] (Second Embodiment) In the packaging container 1 according to the first embodiment, the pouring assist member 20 is provided inside the container body 10, whereas in the packaging container 2 according to the present embodiment, the pouring assist member 20 is provided outside the container body 10. Hereinafter, the description will focus on the differences from the first embodiment, and the description of the same matters will be omitted or simplified. Further, the same reference numerals will be given to the components that are the same as or corresponding to those in the first embodiment.
[0024] An example of a plan view of the packaging container 2 according to the present embodiment is shown in Fig. 5(a), and examples of cross-sectional views taken along the line B-B' are shown in Figs. 5(c), (d), (e), and (f). The packaging container 1 includes a container body 10 and a pouring assistance member 20. Fig. 5(b) shows a plan view of the packaging container 1 with the pouring assistance member 20 removed. The container body 10 is formed by overlapping first sheet materials and sealing the edges. An example of the sealing location is shown by hatching in Figs. 5(a) and (b). The container body 10 has a storage portion 11 surrounded by an edge. The container body 10 may be formed by overlapping two first sheet materials, or may be formed by folding back and overlapping one first sheet material. The pouring assistance member 20 is formed by overlapping second sheet materials. The pouring assistance member 20 is provided at one end of the storage portion 11 with the first sheet material interposed therebetween. As shown in Fig. 5(c), the pouring assistance member 20 may be formed by overlapping two second sheet materials in accordance with the width of the container body 10 (the length in the left-right direction of the paper surface), and as shown in Fig. 5(d), the two second sheet materials may be overlapped within a range narrower than the width of the container body 10. Also, as shown in Figs. 5(e) and (f), the pouring assistance member 20 may be formed by folding back and overlapping one second sheet material. The first sheet material and the second sheet material may be adhered by welding or by an adhesive or the like. Also, the position and range of the adhesion are not limited.
[0025] As an example, the pouring assistance member 20 includes a first portion 21 having a constant width and a second portion 22 closer to the inside of the storage portion 11 than the first portion 21, the width of which decreases as it moves away from the first portion 21. In the illustrated example, the shape of the second portion 22 is a semi-circular shape, but it is not limited thereto and may be other shapes. Also, the side edges in the width direction of the pouring assistance member 20 may or may not be connected to each other by the second sheet materials in the first portion 21 (Figs. 5(e) and (f)), but it is preferable that the second sheet materials are not connected in other portions.
[0026] Since the dispensing auxiliary member 20 is flatly overlapped, until the packaging container 1 described later is opened, the play of the first sheet material of the container body 10 is suppressed and it is made difficult to separate, and it is suppressed that the contained material passes through the portion sandwiched between the dispensing auxiliary members 20 before opening. Thereby, it is possible to suppress the contained material from spilling and scattering at the time of opening.
[0027] Also, in the container body 10, the vicinity of the outer edge of the accommodating portion 11 of the dispensing auxiliary member 20 is a planned opening portion. In the planned opening portion, a strength weakening line 13 is formed in the container body 10. The strength weakening line 13 is not limited, such as a perforation or a half cut. Further, notches 14 may be provided at the ends of the strength weakening line 13 in the container body 10.
[0028] Hereinafter, a method of dispensing the contained material will be described. First, as shown in FIG. 6, the container body 10 is broken along the strength weakening line 13, and the end of the accommodating portion 11 is removed. Thereby, the packaging container 1 is opened.
[0029] Next, the dispensing auxiliary member 20 is inserted into the opening of a refill container or the like at the dispensing destination. This can be done, for example, by folding back the portion of the packaging container 1 where the dispensing auxiliary member 20 is provided downward.
[0030] Thereafter, the entire packaging container 1 is turned downward to dispense the contained material. A cross-sectional view showing the first portion 21 of the dispensing auxiliary member 20 and the container body 10 in this state is shown in FIG. 7. As shown in FIG. 7, the dispensing auxiliary member 20 is inserted into the opening 30 of the refill container, and due to the weight of the contained material, the first sheet materials are separated from each other at the central portion in the width direction, and an opening is formed.
[0031] A modification of this embodiment will be described. A plan view of the container body 10 according to the first modification is shown in Fig. 8(a). In this example, the portion above the funnel portion 12 is made wider than the minimum width of the funnel portion 12, and a pouring assist member (not shown) is attached in a state where the side edges are folded back as shown in Fig. 8(b). Further, a plan view of the container body 10 according to the second modification is shown in Fig. 9(a). In this example, the portion above the funnel portion 12 is made the same width as the minimum width of the funnel portion 12, and a pouring assist member (not shown) is attached in a state where the side edges are folded back as shown in Fig. 9(b). According to these modifications, even if the size of the pouring assist member is the same, it becomes easy to provide the portion of the container body 10 sandwiched between the pouring assist members wider. Fig. 10 shows a cross-sectional view including the first portion 21 of the pouring assist member and the container body 10 in a state where the contents are being poured out in these modifications. As shown in Fig. 10, at the time of pouring, the folded position of the folded container body 10 moves closer to the side edge, and the first sheet materials are more widely separated from each other at the central portion in the width direction than in the example shown in Fig. 7, and an opening is more preferably formed.
[0032] Also in the packaging container 2 according to this embodiment, similar to the first embodiment, by providing a pouring assist member 20 formed of a second sheet material including paper having a certain rigidity and dead-hold property, an opening can be preferably formed and maintained, so that the contents can be preferably poured out. Further, since the first sheet material including paper is used for the container body 10 and the second sheet material including paper is used for the pouring assist member 20, the usage amount of resin materials and the like can be reduced, and the environmental load can be reduced. In particular, the edge 23 makes it easier to insert the pouring assist member 20 into the opening of a refill container or the like.
