Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0009] (Embodiment) An example of a plan view of the packaging container 1 according to this embodiment is shown in FIG. 1(a), and examples of cross-sectional views along the line A - A' are shown in FIGS. 1(b), (c), and (d). Further, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the pouring assistance member provided in the packaging container shown in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 shows a plan view showing the opened state of the packaging container according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0010] The packaging container 1 includes a container body 10 and a pouring assistance member 20. The container body 10 is formed by stacking first sheet materials and sealing the edges (portions along the outer peripheral edge). An example of the sealing location between the first sheet materials is shown by lattice hatching in FIG. 1(a). The container body 10 has an accommodating portion 11 surrounded by a sealing portion along the outer peripheral edge. The container body 10 may be formed by stacking two first sheet materials, or may be formed by folding back and stacking one first sheet material. The pouring assistance member 20 is formed by stacking second sheet materials.
[0011] The pouring auxiliary member 20 is provided sandwiched between the first sheet materials from the inside to the outside of the accommodating portion 11. More specifically, the pouring auxiliary member 20 is arranged such that a part thereof is located inside the accommodating portion 11 and another part thereof is located outside the accommodating portion 11, and the entire pouring auxiliary member 20 is sandwiched between the first sheet materials. In the present embodiment, the entire outer surface of each of the second sheet materials constituting the pouring auxiliary member 20 is sealed to the inner surface of the first sheet material. The sealed portions between the first sheet material and the second sheet material are indicated by diagonal hatching in Fig. 1(a). Since the pouring auxiliary member 20 is sandwiched and sealed between the first sheet materials, contact with the pouring auxiliary member 20 in the unopened state of the packaging container 1 is restricted. Therefore, when the pouring auxiliary member 20 is provided inside the first sheet, the pouring auxiliary member 20 can be maintained in a hygienic state as compared with the case where the pouring auxiliary member 20 is provided on the outer surface of the first sheet material.
[0012] The pouring auxiliary member 20 only needs to be capable of forming an opening that communicates the inside and the outside of the accommodating portion 11 by separating the inner surfaces of the second sheet materials. As shown in Fig. 1(b), it may be formed by overlapping two second sheet materials, or as shown in Figs. 1(c) and 1(d), it may be formed by folding and overlapping one second sheet material. The example in Fig. 1(c) is obtained by folding one second sheet material along a single folding line extending in the vertical direction (the up-and-down direction in Fig. 1) of the container body 10, and the example in Fig. 1(d) is obtained by folding one second sheet material in a butterfly shape along two folding lines extending in the vertical direction of the container body 10.
[0013] The pouring auxiliary member 20 includes a first portion 21 disposed outside the accommodating portion 11 and a second portion 22 disposed inside the accommodating portion 11.
[0014] In the illustrated example, the shape of the second portion 22 is a semi-circular shape, but it is not limited thereto, and other shapes may be used. It is preferable that the second portion 22 is formed so that the width becomes narrower as it moves away from the first portion 21. Further, the side edges in the width direction of the pouring auxiliary member 20 may be connected to each other in the first portion 21 (Figs. 1(c) and 1(d)), or may not be connected (Fig. 1(b)), but in the second portion 22, it is preferable that the second sheet material is not connected.
[0015] As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, first notches 31a and 31b are provided at both ends in the width direction of the tip portion (the upper end portion in Figs. 1 and 2) of the first portion 21. By providing the first notches 31a and 31b, the tip portion of the first portion 21 is configured such that the width narrows as it goes outward from the accommodating portion 11. The first notches 31a and 31b are provided to facilitate the insertion of the pouring auxiliary member 20 into the opening of another container when the contents of the packaging container 1 are transferred to another container. Details will be described later.
[0016] Further, in the present embodiment, second notches 32a and 32b are provided at positions sandwiched between the first notches 31a and 31b at the tip portion of the first portion 21. The second notches 32a and 32b are preferably provided at the center in the width direction of the tip portion of the first portion 21. The second notches 32a and 32b are also provided to facilitate the insertion of the pouring auxiliary member 20 into the opening of another container. Details of this will also be described later. However, the second notches 32a and 32b are not essential and may be omitted.
[0017] The shapes and sizes of the first notches 31a and 31b and the second notches 32a and 32b are not particularly limited, but when the pouring auxiliary member 20 is inserted into the opening of another container, it is preferable that the first notches 31a and 31b and the second notches 32a and 32b are accommodated within the opening of the other container and do not protrude outside (see Fig. 5(c)).
[0018] It is preferable that the container body 10 is sealed with the first sealing material such that the first sheet material has a funnel portion 12 where the width of the accommodating portion 11 gradually increases as it moves away from the portion sandwiching the pouring assistance member 20.
[0019] Further, the container body 10 is sealed with the first sealing material so as to surround the portion outside the accommodating portion 11 of the pouring assistance member 20 to seal the pouring assistance member 20. The first sheet material constituting the container body 10 is formed with a strength weakening line 13 (the two-dot chain line in FIG. 1) for facilitating the breaking of the first sheet material when the container body 10 is opened. The strength weakening lines 13 are provided on each of the overlapping first sheets, and the strength weakening lines 13 provided on each of the first sheets overlap each other. The strength weakening line 13 has a portion crossing the portion outside the accommodating portion 11 of the pouring assistance member 20 and a portion along the first portion 21 of the pouring assistance member 20. As shown in FIG. 1, among the strength weakening lines 13, the portion along the first portion 21 is formed along a part of one side edge of the pouring assistance member 20, the first notch 31a, a part of the edge of the tip, the second notch 32a (32b), another part of the edge of the tip, the first notch 31b, and a part of the other side edge of the pouring assistance member 20. The strength weakening line 13 is not limited, such as a perforation or a half cut. Further, the container body 10 may be provided with a notch 14 connected to the end of the strength weakening line 13 as a trigger for breaking the first sheet material along the strength weakening line 13. Instead of the notch 14, a cut continuous with the end of the strength weakening line 13 may be provided.
[0020] When the first sheet material is broken along the strength-weakening line 13, as shown in FIG. 3, the portion of the container body 10 on the side opposite to the accommodating portion 11 can be removed. As a result, the packaging container 1 is opened, and the content in the accommodating portion 11 can be poured out from the pouring-assisting member 20. Here, assume a case where the strength-weakening line provided on the first sheet is formed in a straight line crossing over the pouring-assisting member 20. In this case, in the process of breaking the first sheet along the strength-weakening line, when the break of the first sheet reaches near the side edge of the pouring-assisting member 20, due to the presence of the side edge of the pouring-assisting member 20, the progress of the break in the transverse direction of the pouring-assisting member 20 is difficult, and thus the ease of opening the packaging container 1 deteriorates. On the contrary, in the packaging container 1 according to the present embodiment, the strength-weakening line 13 is formed so as not to cross the pouring-assisting member 20 but to extend along the outer periphery of the first portion 21 of the pouring-assisting member 20. With such a configuration, when the first sheet is broken along the strength-weakening line 13, the first portion 21 of the pouring-assisting member 20 serves as a guide, and the first sheet can be easily broken along the strength-weakening line 13.
[0021] The material of the first sheet material is not particularly limited as long as it has a sealant layer on the innermost surface, and one or more layers laminated from paper, resin film, metal foil, barrier film, etc. can be used. In terms of reducing the resin amount and improving recyclability, it is preferable that the first sheet material includes a paper layer, and in this case, it is more preferable that the ratio of the paper layer is 50% by mass or more of the first sheet material.
[0022] As a specific example of the first sheet material, for example, from the outside of the packaging container 1, a paper (basis weight 70 g / m 2 ) / heat-seal varnish layer structure can be adopted. Alternatively, paper (basis weight 80 g / m 2) / A layer structure of transparent vapor-deposited PET (polyethylene terephthalate) 12 μm / PE (polyethylene) 50 μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of transparent vapor-deposited PET 12 μm / NY 15 μm / PE 50 μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of PET 12 μm / AL (aluminum foil) 9 μm / NY 15 μm / PE 50 μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of PET 12 μm / NY 15 μm / AL 7 μm / PE 60 μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of transparent vapor-deposited PET 12 μm / PE 60 μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of PET 12 μm / AL 9 μm / PE 70 μm can be adopted.
[0023] Since the second sheet material is the part that is inserted into the opening of another container when refilling the contents into another container, it requires stiffness. Therefore, as the second sheet material, paper (cardboard) with a basis weight of 100 - 400 g / m 2 is mainly used, and a material with a resin layer or the like laminated as required is used. The basis weight of the paper constituting the second sheet material is more preferably 190 - 350.1 g / m 2 .
[0024] As a specific example of the second sheet material, for example, from the outside of the packaging container 1 (the side sealed to the first sheet material), a layer structure of PE 30 μm / paper (basis weight 286.1 g / m 2 ) / PE 30 μm can be adopted. Alternatively, a layer structure of PE 30 μm / paper (basis weight 190 g / m 2 ) can be adopted.
[0025] The contents to be accommodated in the accommodating portion 11 are not limited. For example, the accommodating portion 11 can preferably accommodate powders. Note that the accommodation of the contents is performed, for example, with one end edge of the container body 10 unsealed, and then the one end edge is sealed.
[0026] Hereinafter, a method for refilling the contents will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5.
[0027] FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram showing a method for refilling the contents using a packaging container according to a comparative example. FIG. 4(b) is a view seen from the B - B' line shown in (a).
[0028] The packaging container according to the comparative example is the same as the packaging container according to the present embodiment, except that notches (both the first notch and the second notch) are not formed at the tip of the first part of the pouring assistance member. Hereinafter, in order to distinguish the present embodiment from the comparative example, the pouring assistance member and the first part in the comparative example are referred to as "pouring assistance member 20'" and "first part 21'", respectively.
[0029] First, the first sheet is broken along the strength weakening line 13, and as shown in FIG. 3, the portion on the opposite side of the accommodating portion 11 in the container body 10 is removed. Thereby, the packaging container 1 is opened, and the content in the accommodating portion 11 can be poured out from the pouring assistance member 20'.
[0030] Next, as shown by the white arrow in FIG. 4(a), both side edge portions in the width direction of the pouring assistance member 20' are pressed in a direction approaching each other to deform the pouring assistance member 20' into a cylindrical shape. Incidentally, both side edge portions may be pressed in a state where the tip of the pouring assistance member 20' is in contact with the opening 30 of the refill container. Since both side edges in the width direction of the pouring assistance member 20' are the overlapping portions of the edges of the front and back second sheet materials (see FIGS. 1(b) and 1(c)), or the bent portions of the second sheet material (see FIGS. 1(c) and 1(d)), the pressed portion does not deform into a curved surface shape and becomes an outwardly pointed corner portion as shown in FIG. 4(a).
[0031] When trying to insert the pouring assistance member 20' into the opening 30 of the refill container in this state, as shown in FIG. 4(b), the corner portion generated at the tip due to the deformation of the pouring assistance member 20' catches on the opening 30 of the refill container, and the pouring assistance member 20 cannot be easily inserted into the opening 30.
[0032] FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram showing a method of refilling the content using the packaging container according to an embodiment of the present invention. Incidentally, in FIG. 5, for the sake of simplifying the illustration, the hatching of the seal portion is omitted. FIG. 5(b) is a view seen from the C-C' line shown in FIG. 5(a).
[0033] Similar to the case of FIG. 4, the first sheet is broken along the strength weakening line 13, and as shown in FIG. 3, the portion on the opposite side of the accommodating portion 11 in the container body 10 is removed. As a result, the packaging container 1 is opened, and the content in the accommodating portion 11 can be poured out from the pouring assisting member 20.
[0034] Next, as shown by the white arrows in FIG. 5(a), both side edge portions in the width direction of the pouring assisting member 20 are pressed in a direction approaching each other to deform the pouring assisting member 20 into a cylindrical shape. Incidentally, both side edge portions may be pressed in a state where the tip portion of the pouring assisting member 20 is in contact with the opening 30 of the refill container. As shown in FIG. 5(a), also in this embodiment, when the pouring assisting member is deformed into a cylindrical shape, both side edge portions in the width direction of the pouring assisting member 20 become corner portions.
[0035] However, in the packaging container according to this embodiment, since the first notches 31a and 31b are provided at both ends in the width direction of the tip portion of the first portion 21 of the pouring assisting member 20, no corner portion is formed at the tip of the first portion 21. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5(b), the tip of the pouring assisting member 20 can be easily inserted into the opening 30 of the refill container without being caught by the opening 30 of the refill container. Further, in the process of inserting the pouring assisting member 20 into the opening 30, the tapered portion formed by the first notches 31a and 31b abuts against the opening 30 and functions as a guide, so that the pouring assisting member 20 can be easily inserted into the opening 30 also in this respect.
[0036] When the pouring assisting member 20 is further inserted into the opening 30, as shown in FIG. 5(c), substantially the entire first portion 21 of the pouring assisting member 20 is accommodated in the opening 30 along the inner peripheral surface of the opening 30.
[0037] Thereafter, the entire packaging container 1 is inverted to pour out the content. Since the second sheet material contains paper, it exhibits dead-hold property due to the stiffness of the paper, and the opening formed in the pouring assisting member 20 is likely to be maintained. It is not likely to clog.
[0038] Further, when the content is poured out, due to the movement of the content, the vicinity of the funnel portion 12 in the accommodating portion 11 bulges to form a funnel shape, making it easy to pour out the content. Also, in the inner part of the accommodating portion 11 of the pouring-out assisting member 20, the second sheet material also separates from each other along the funnel shape of the first sheet material. However, the second portion 22 provided in this part becomes narrower as it moves away from the first portion 21, so it easily follows the funnel shape of the first sheet material, and is less likely to affect the deformation of the first sheet material accompanying the movement of the stored material, and does not prevent the pouring out of the content.
[0039] As described above, in the packaging container 1 according to the present embodiment, by providing the pouring-out assisting member 20 formed of the second sheet material including the paper having dead-holding properties, the opening can be preferably formed and maintained, so that the content can be preferably poured out.
[0040] Further, since the first cutouts 31a and 31b are respectively provided at both ends in the width direction of the tip of the first portion 21 of the pouring-out assisting member 20, when the content of the packaging container 1 is refilled into a refill container or the like, the pouring-out assisting member 20 deformed into a cylindrical shape can be easily inserted into the opening 30 of the refill container, and the usability is excellent.
[0041] Further, the outer surface of the first portion 21 of the pouring assist member 20 located outside the accommodating portion 11 of the container body 10 is sealed to the inner surface of the first sheet material. If the outer surface of the first portion 21 is not sealed to the inner surface of the first sheet material, when inserting the pouring assist member 20 into the opening 30 of the refill container, a problem may occur where a part of the first sheet material overlapping the first portion 21 is curled and becomes an obstruction, making it difficult to insert the pouring assist member 20 into the opening 30. As in this embodiment, when the outer surface of the first portion 21 is sealed to the inner surface of the first sheet material to integrate the two, such a problem can be suppressed. In this embodiment, an example where the entire outer surface of the second sheet constituting the pouring assist member 20 is sealed to the inner surface of the first sheet has been described, but the portions other than the first portion 21 may not be sealed to the first seal. As long as at least the outer surface of the first portion 21 (the portion located outside the accommodating portion 11) of the pouring assist member 20 is sealed to the inner surface of the first sheet, the same effect as this embodiment can be achieved.
[0042] Also, in the packaging container 1 according to this embodiment, second cutouts 32a and 32b are formed at substantially the center of the tip of the first portion 21 of the pouring assist member 20. When the both side edge portions of the pouring assist member 20 are pressed in a direction approaching each other, the first portion 21 of the pouring assist member 20 is curved into a convex curved surface on the outside, and the central portion in the width direction (the portions X and X' shown in Fig. 5(a)) is in the most protruding state. When the both side edges of the pouring assist member 20 are strongly pressed, the protruding amount of the portions X and X' increases. However, if the second cutouts 32a and 32b are not provided, the central portion in the width direction at the tip of the first portion 21 of the pouring assist member 20 (the portion corresponding to the portions X and X') interferes with the opening 30 of the refill container, making it difficult to insert the pouring assist member 20. When the second cutouts 32a and 32b are provided as in this embodiment, the interference between the central portion in the width direction at the tip of the first portion 21 of the pouring assist member 20 and the opening 30 can be reduced, so the ease of inserting the pouring assist member 20 into the opening 30 is further improved.
[0043] The second notches 32a and 32b are particularly effective when the pouring aid member 20 is formed by folding a single second sheet in a butterfly shape and joining the edges of the second sheet at the center in the width direction of the pouring aid member 20 (see (d) in FIG. 1). When the pouring aid member 20 is configured as shown in (d) of FIG. 1, when the pouring aid member 20 is deformed into a cylindrical shape, it is easy to bend at the joint portion of the edges at the center in the width direction, and corners are formed in the same way as the both side edge portions. When the pouring aid member 20 is configured as shown in (d) of FIG. 1, by providing the second notches 32a and 32b at the joint portion of the pair of edges of the second sheet, no corner is formed at the tip of the first portion 21 of the pouring aid member 20. Therefore, the tip of the pouring aid member 20 does not interfere with the opening 30 of the refill container, and it becomes easy to insert the pouring aid member 20 into the opening 30.
[0044] Also, in the present embodiment, since the strength weakening line 13 is formed along the outer peripheral edge of the first portion 21 of the pouring aid member 20, the first portion 21 of the pouring aid member 20 can be used as a guide, and the first sheet material can be easily broken along the strength weakening line 13.
Industrial Applicability
[0045] The present invention is useful for packaging containers.
