Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle article storage device mounted on a vehicle.
Background Art
[0002] Conventionally, a vehicle article storage device mounted on a center console or the like of a vehicle has been known (for example, Patent Document 1). This vehicle article storage device includes a holder member provided with side walls surrounding a storage space, and a support member that can project and retract so as to project from a side wall opening provided in the side wall. The side wall openings are provided at a plurality of locations on the side wall, and a plurality of support members are provided corresponding to the side wall openings. Each support member can rotate about a rotation axis between a protruding position where it protrudes inside the storage space more than the side wall opening, and a retracted position where it retracts outside the storage space from the protruding position and does not protrude inside the storage space more than the side wall opening, for example.
[0003] Each of the above-described support members is biased from the retracted position side toward the protruding position side by the biasing force of a biasing member, and is maintained at the protruding position when no article is inserted into the storage space. When an article is inserted into the storage space, the support member rotates from the protruding position side toward the retracted position side while contacting the outer surface of the article. According to this vehicle article storage device, an article stored in the storage space can be held in contact with a plurality of support members.

Patent Document 1
Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0005] As described above, the support member rotates about the rotation axis between the protruding position and the retracted position. In the device described in Patent Document 1 above, when an article is not inserted into the storage space, the support member abuts against the restricting portion of the holder member by the biasing force of the biasing member and is maintained at the protruding position as the initial position. For this reason, the rotation of the support member from the retracted position side to the protruding position side is restricted to a predetermined angle or less. However, a structure for restricting the rotation of the support member from the protruding position side to the retracted position side is not adopted. For this reason, when the support member is excessively pushed into the retracted position side and rotates, the support member itself may come off from the holder member side, and as a result, there is a possibility that the rotation about the rotation axis of the support member is not properly performed.
[0006] The present invention has been made in view of such points, and an object thereof is to provide a vehicle article storage device capable of restricting the support member from rotating excessively to the retracted position side.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0007] One aspect of the present invention includes a holder member having a side wall forming a storage space for storing an article, a protruding position protruding inside the storage space from a side wall opening provided in the side wall, and a retracted position retracting outside the storage space from the protruding position. A support member for holding the article in the storage space, which is rotatable about a rotation axis between the two positions, and when the support member rotates from the protruding position side to the retracted position side by a predetermined angle or more, a stopper portion against which a contact portion provided at a location different from the rotation axis on the support member abuts. The stopper portion is a vehicle article storage device having a stopper surface disposed on a rotation locus of the contact portion outside the outer surface of the side wall and against which the contact portion can abut.
[0008] According to this configuration, it is possible to restrict the support member from rotating excessively to the retracted position side.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0010] Specific embodiments of the article storage device for a vehicle according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0011] The article storage device 1 for a vehicle in the present embodiment is a device that can be mounted on a vehicle and hold articles. Articles to be held by the article storage device 1 for a vehicle are, for example, beverage containers such as plastic bottles, cans, and water cylinders, and portable terminals such as smartphones and mobile phones. The article storage device 1 for a vehicle is mounted on, for example, the center console in the vehicle interior. Note that the article storage device 1 for a vehicle may be a holding device mounted on an object other than the center console.
[0012] As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 4, and 5, the article storage device 1 for a vehicle includes a holder member 10, an auxiliary holder 20, a support member 30, a biasing member 40, and a stopper portion 50.
[0013] The holder member 10 is a member that forms an accommodation space 11 for accommodating an article. The holder member 10 has a side wall 12 that forms the accommodation space 11. The side wall 12 is a peripheral wall that surrounds the periphery of the accommodation space 11. Incidentally, the side wall 12 may be configured to form one accommodation space 11, or may be configured to form a plurality of accommodation spaces 11. When a plurality of accommodation spaces are formed, the capacity of each accommodation space 11 may be, for example, a capacity that can accommodate one beverage container at a time. The accommodation space 11 is formed, for example, in a substantially cylindrical shape or a rectangular parallelepiped shape. Incidentally, the accommodation space 11 may be formed in a trapezoidal longitudinal section shape such that the horizontal sectional area on the opening side is larger than the horizontal sectional area on the bottom wall side.
[0014] The holder member 10 has an upper wall 13. The upper wall 13 is a panel portion that extends substantially horizontally in a thin plate. The upper wall 13 is formed, for example, in a substantially quadrangular shape. An opening 14 is provided in the upper wall 13. The opening 14 is an opening that communicates with the accommodation space 11. The number of openings 14 provided corresponds to the number of accommodation spaces 11. The opening 14 is formed, for example, in a circular shape or a rectangular shape.
[0015] Incidentally, the upper wall 13 of the holder member 10 may be configured, for example, by fitting and integrating a lower member and an upper member that are separately formed. In this case, a space may be formed between the lower member and the upper member to store liquid leaked from a beverage container as an article, or ribs may be formed on the upper surface of the lower member or the lower surface of the upper member to improve the rigidity of the holder member 10.
[0016] The auxiliary holder 20 is a member that closes the lower end of the accommodation space 11. The auxiliary holder 20 is provided separately from the holder member 10. The auxiliary holder 20 is attached to the lower side of the holder member 10. The attachment of the auxiliary holder 20 to the holder member 10 is performed, for example, by claw fitting or screwing. The auxiliary holder 20 is formed to have a recess 21 (see FIGS. 6 and 7) into which the lower part of the side wall 12 of the holder member 10 fits while closing the lower end of the accommodation space 11.
[0017] That is, the auxiliary holder 20 has a bottom wall 22 forming the accommodation space 11 and a cylindrical wall 23 extending upward in a cylindrical shape from the outer edge of the bottom wall 22. The bottom wall 22 closes the lower end of the accommodation space 11 and is the wall on which the articles accommodated in the accommodation space 11 are placed. The accommodation space 11 is surrounded by the side wall 12 of the holder member 10 and the bottom wall 22 of the auxiliary holder 20. The cylindrical wall 23 is formed such that its inner surface contacts the outer surface of the side wall 12 of the holder member 10. The cylindrical wall 23 is formed to match each accommodation space 11.
[0018] The support member 30 is a member that holds the articles accommodated in the accommodation space 11. The side wall 12 of the holder member 10 has a side wall opening 16. The side wall opening 16 is an opening that penetrates the side wall 12 and is empty. The side wall opening 16 extends in the vertical direction and the circumferential direction along the side wall 12. One or more (for example, two) side wall openings 16 are provided for each accommodation space 11. The support member 30 is provided corresponding to the side wall opening 16 and the same number of support members 30 as the number of side wall openings 16 are provided.
[0019] The support member 30 presses the articles accommodated in the accommodation space 11 against a member on the side opposite to the self-supporting member 30 in the accommodation space 11 (specifically, the side wall 12 or another support member 30) to hold the articles. The support member 30 can project into the accommodation space 11 through the side wall opening 16 of the holder member 10 and is movable back and forth in the inner and outer directions of the accommodation space 11 so that the amount of projection from the side wall opening 16 is changed. The support member 30 moves back and forth in the inner and outer directions of the accommodation space 11 according to the size of the articles accommodated in the accommodation space 11.
[0020] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the support member 30 is a flap that extends in the vertical direction and has a predetermined thickness in the circumferential direction. The support member 30 is formed such that when viewed in the circumferential direction, the upper and lower central portions can protrude inside the accommodation space 11 compared to the upper and lower portions. That is, the end face of the support member 30 on the side of the accommodation space 11 is arcuately curved when viewed in the circumferential direction, as shown in FIG. 6. Also, both end faces of the support member 30 in the circumferential direction are formed in a flat plate shape, as shown in FIG. 5. The support member 30 is formed such that the portion protruding inside the accommodation space 11 closes in a bag shape. The support member 30 abuts against the side surface of the article accommodated in the accommodation space 11 at the protruding end of the upper and lower central portions to hold the article.
[0021] Each support member 30 is supported by the holder member 10 or the auxiliary holder 20 so as to be able to advance and retreat. In the present embodiment, each support member 30 is supported by the auxiliary holder 20 so as to be able to advance and retreat. Each support member 30 can rotate about the rotation axis C with respect to the auxiliary holder 20 and thus the holder member 10. Each support member 30 rotates between the protruding position and the retracted position.
[0022] The protruding position is the position where the support member 30 (particularly the protruding end of the upper and lower central portions) protrudes inside the accommodation space 11 more than the side wall opening 16 of the side wall 12. Specifically, the protruding position is the position of the support member 30 when the support member 30 protrudes to the innermost side of the accommodation space 11. Incidentally, the protruding position may be the position where the first contact portion 32, which will be described later, provided on the support member 30 abuts against the holder member 10 or the auxiliary holder 20 when the support member 30 rotates from the retracted position side by the biasing force of the biasing member 40, and further rotation of the support member 30 is restricted.
[0023] Further, the above-described retracted position is a position where the support member 30 (particularly the protruding end at the upper and lower central portions) retracts outward from the above-described protruding position with respect to the accommodation space 11. Specifically, this retracted position may be a position that does not protrude inward of the accommodation space 11 beyond the side wall opening 16 of the side wall 12, and at least includes the position of the support member 30 when an article having a size such that the outer surface of the article is along the side wall 12 is accommodated in the accommodation space 11, and may include the position of the support member 30 when the upper and lower central portions of the support member 30 are flush with the side wall 12.
[0024] Each support member 30 has a shaft body 31. The shaft body 31 is a columnar or cylindrical support shaft portion that rotatably supports the support member 30. The shaft body 31 rotates the entire support member 30 with respect to the auxiliary holder 20 to move it forward and backward in the inner and outer directions of the accommodation space 11. The shaft body 31 is provided at the lower portion of the circumferential side surface of the support member 30 and at both circumferential ends of the support member 30. The support member 30 is formed such that the length (radial length) of the upper portion thereof with respect to the height position of the shaft body 31 is longer than the length (radial length) of the lower portion thereof. The shaft body 31 is disposed outside the accommodation space 11 and outside the cylindrical wall 23 of the auxiliary holder 20. The two shaft bodies 31 are each formed in a columnar shape that protrudes from the circumferential side surface in a substantially circumferential and horizontal direction, and extend linearly with respect to each other.
[0025] As shown in FIG. 7, the auxiliary holder 20 has a shaft groove 25. The shaft groove 25 is a rotation support portion into which the shaft body 31 is rotatably fitted. The shaft groove 25 rotatably supports the support member 30. The shaft groove 25 is provided at two locations (i.e., a pair) separated in the circumferential direction corresponding to the two shaft bodies 31 of each support member 30. The pair of shaft grooves 25 is provided in a set number corresponding to the number of support members 30. Each shaft groove 25 is provided in the auxiliary holder 20, and specifically, is provided in a protruding portion 26 that protrudes outward from the upper portion of the outer surface of the cylindrical wall 23. The shaft groove 25 is formed in a groove shape, opens downward on the lower surface of the protruding portion 26, and also opens on the circumferential end surface of the protruding portion 26 that faces the pair of shaft grooves 25.
[0026] The support member 30 is supported by the auxiliary holder 20 when two shaft bodies 31 are fitted into the pair of shaft grooves 25 from below those shaft grooves 25. The support member 30 can rotate about the rotation axis C between a retracted position and a protruding position in a state where the shaft bodies 31 are fitted into the shaft grooves 25 of the auxiliary holder 20. The rotation angle between the retracted position and the protruding position of the support member 30 is, for example, 30° or 45°.
[0027] The biasing member 40 is, for example, a spring that generates a biasing force for biasing the support member 30. The biasing member 40 is interposed between the auxiliary holder 20 and the support member 30. The biasing member 40 is arranged so as to surround the shaft body 31 of the support member 30. One end portion of the biasing member 40 is supported by the auxiliary holder 20. The other end portion of the biasing member 40 is supported by the support member 30.
[0028] The biasing member 40 biases the support member 30 from the retracted position side toward the protruding position side with respect to the auxiliary holder 20. In a normal state where no article is stored in the storage space 11, the support member 30 is in a protruding position where the upper and lower central portions thereof protrude to the innermost side of the storage space 11 by the biasing force of the biasing member 40.
[0029] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the support member 30 has a first contact portion 32. The first contact portion 32 is a portion that restricts the support member 30 from rotating further inward of the storage space 11 (that is, in the rotation direction from the retracted position side toward the protruding position side) beyond the protruding position. The first contact portion 32 is provided at a location different from the rotation axis C. Specifically, the first contact portion 32 is provided at the lower part of the circumferential side surface of the support member 30 so as to protrude in the circumferential direction from the circumferential side surface. A pair of first contact portions 32 are provided per support member 30. The first contact portion 32 is always arranged outside the storage space 11. When the rotation angle of the support member 30 from the retracted position side toward the protruding position side reaches a predetermined angle, the first contact portion 32 abuts against the outer surface of the side wall 12 of the holder member 10, thereby restricting further rotation of the support member 30.
[0030] As shown in FIGS. 4, 5, and 7, the support member 30 has a second abutting portion 33. The second abutting portion 33 is a portion that restricts the support member 30 from rotating further outward of the accommodation space 11 (i.e., in the rotation direction from the protruding position side to the retracted position side) beyond the retracted position. The second abutting portion 33 is provided at a location different from the rotation axis C.
[0031] The second abutting portion 33 is formed in an arm shape so as to protrude downward and circumferentially from the circumferential side surface of the support member 30. The second abutting portion 33 is disposed above the rotation axis C. The second abutting portion 33 is disposed outside the accommodation space 11. When the rotation angle of the support member 30 from the protruding position side to the retracted position side reaches a predetermined angle, the second abutting portion 33 abuts against the stopper portion 50, thereby restricting further rotation of the support member 30. A pair of second abutting portions 33 are provided for each support member 30. The pair of second abutting portions 33 abut against the stopper portion 50 substantially simultaneously.
[0032] The stopper portion 50 is a portion where the second abutting portion 33 of the support member 30 abuts. The stopper portion 50 is provided on the auxiliary holder 20. The stopper portion 50 restricts the support member 30 from rotating by more than a predetermined angle from the protruding position side to the retracted position side due to the abutment with the second abutting portion 33. That is, the stopper portion 50 abuts against the second abutting portion 33 when the support member 30 rotates by more than a predetermined angle from the protruding position side to the retracted position side.
[0033] The stopper portion 50 is provided at the protruding tip of the protruding portion 26. The stopper portion 50 protrudes upward from the upper surface facing away from the lower surface where the axial groove 25 is provided in the protruding portion 26 and is formed in a block shape. The stopper portion 50 is disposed outside the outer surfaces of the cylindrical wall 23 of the auxiliary holder 20 and the side wall 12 of the holder member 10, and is disposed at a position away from those outer surfaces.
[0034] As shown in Fig. 7, the stopper portion 50 has a stopper surface 51. The stopper surface 51 is a surface against which the second contact portion 33 abuts when the support member 30 rotates by a predetermined angle or more from the protruding position side to the retracted position side. The stopper surface 51 is disposed outside the outer surface of the cylindrical wall 23 and thus the outer wall of the side wall 12, and is disposed on the rotation locus of the second contact portion 33 when the support member 30 rotates. Specifically, the stopper surface 51 is disposed above the height position of the rotation axis C and outside the rotation axis C (that is, at a position where the distance from the side wall 12 is longer than the rotation axis C). The stopper surface 51 is formed so as to face the outer surface of the side wall 12 and the outer surface of the cylindrical wall 23 outside the accommodation space 11.
[0035] A space in which the second contact portion 33 can move is formed between the side wall 12 of the holder member 10 and the stopper surface 51 of the stopper portion 50 when the support member 30 rotates between the protruding position and the retracted position. That is, when the support member 30 rotates between the retracted position and the protruding position, the second contact portion 33 can move without interfering with other members in the space formed between the side wall 12 of the holder member 10 and the stopper surface 51 of the stopper portion 50. Then, when the support member 30 rotates excessively beyond the retracted position, the second contact portion 33 abuts against the stopper surface 51 and stops moving.
[0036] In addition to the second contact portion 33, the support member 30 may have a regulating portion that regulates the rotation from the protruding position side to the retracted position side. For example, this regulating portion may be an arm-shaped portion that extends below the shaft body 31 and abuts against the outer surface of the cylindrical wall 23 of the auxiliary holder 20 or the outer surface of the side wall 12 of the holder member 10 when the support member 30 rotates by a predetermined angle or more from the protruding position side to the retracted position side.
[0037] However, the timing at which the above-described regulating portion abuts against the outer surface of the cylindrical wall 23 of the auxiliary holder 20 or the outer surface of the side wall 12 of the holder member 10 is preferably the same as the timing at which the second abutting portion 33 abuts against the stopper portion 50, in order to disperse the force receiving excessive rotation of the support member 30 and stably regulate the rotation of the support member 30.
[0038] Next, the operation of the vehicle article storage device 1 will be described. In a normal state where no article is stored in the storage space 11, the support member 30 (particularly, the upper and lower central portions) is in a state of advancing to the protruding position where it protrudes most inward of the storage space 11.
[0039] When a vehicle occupant or the like holds an article in the vehicle article storage device 1, the article is inserted into the storage space 11 from above. When the article is inserted into the storage space 11 from the above normal state, the support member 30 is pressed outward of the storage space 11 against the biasing force of the biasing member 40 by the outer surface of the article. At this time, the support member 30 rotates from the protruding position side to the retracted position side about the rotation axis C. The rotation of the support member 30 proceeds to a rotation angle corresponding to the size (diameter) of the article. Then, when the bottom of the article contacts the bottom wall 22 of the auxiliary holder 20, the article is sandwiched between the support members 30 and between the support member 30 and the inner surface of the side wall 12. Thereby, the article is held by the support member 30 while being stored in the storage space 11.
[0040] When the diameter of the article held in the storage space 11 is small, the position where the rotation of the support member 30 stops is close to the protruding position. Also, when the diameter of the article held in the storage space 11 is large, the position where the rotation of the support member 30 stops is far from the protruding position and close to the retracted position. For this reason, according to the vehicle article storage device 1, the rotation stop position of the support member 30 can be changed between the protruding position and the retracted position according to the diameter of the article held in the storage space 11, so that a plurality of types of articles with different diameters can be appropriately accommodated and held in the storage space 11.
[0041] Also, when a vehicle occupant or the like takes out an article held in the storage space 11 of the vehicle article storage device 1, the article is grasped and pulled out upward from the storage space 11. In the process of this pulling out, first, the upper and lower central portion of the support member 30 slides in contact along the side surface of the article while the rotation angle of the support member 30 is substantially maintained. Then, when the support member 30 is pulled out and the above sliding contact is released, the support member 30 rotates toward the protruding position from the retracted position side by the biasing force of the biasing member 40. And when the first contact portion 32 of the support member 30 contacts the outer surface of the side wall 12 of the holder member 10, the rotation of the support member 30 stops and the support member 30 is maintained at the protruding position.
[0042] In the above-described vehicle article storage device 1, the support member 30 is rotatable about the rotation axis C between the retracted position and the protruding position. The vehicle article storage device 1 includes a stopper portion 50 with which a second contact portion 33 provided at a location different from the rotation axis C on the support member 30 contacts when the support member 30 rotates by a predetermined angle or more from the protruding position side to the retracted position side. This stopper portion 50 is disposed on the rotation locus of the second contact portion 33 outside the outer surface of the side wall 12 and has a stopper surface 51 with which the second contact portion 33 can contact.
[0043] According to the structure of this vehicle article storage device 1, the contact between the second contact portion 33 and the stopper surface 51 of the stopper portion 50 can regulate the support member 30 from rotating further in the rotation direction from the protruding position side to the retracted position side beyond the retracted position. For this reason, it is possible to prevent the rotation of the support member 30 to the retracted position side from being excessively performed beyond the retracted position, and to prevent the shaft body 31 of the support member 30 from coming out of the shaft groove 25 of the auxiliary holder 20. Thereby, the rotation about the rotation axis C of the support member 30 can be appropriately performed with good reliability.
[0044] Further, the support member 30 is formed such that the length of the upper part of the shaft body 31, i.e., the rotation shaft C, is longer than the length of the lower part. The stopper surface 51 is disposed outside the rotation shaft C. In this structure, when the second contact portion 33 comes into contact with the stopper surface 51 by a force that rotates the support member 30 from the protruding position side to the retracted position side by a predetermined angle or more, the stopper portion 50 supports the support member 30 on the upper side of the shaft body 31 where the support member 30 extends relatively long.
[0045] According to this structure, compared with a structure in which the excessive rotation of the support member 30 is restricted by the side wall 12 or the cylindrical wall 23, the bending deformation of the support member 30 when the force for rotating the support member 30 from the protruding position side to the retracted position side by a predetermined angle or more is the same can be suppressed. For this reason, the breakage of the support member 30 when the support member 30 rotates from the protruding position side to the retracted position side by a predetermined angle or more can be suppressed as much as possible.
[0046] In addition, in the above embodiment, the second contact portion 33 corresponds to the "contact portion" described in the claims, the auxiliary holder 20 corresponds to the "member provided with the stopper portion" described in the claims, and the shaft groove 25 corresponds to the "rotation support portion" described in the claims.
[0047] By the way, in the above embodiment, the stopper portion 50 is provided on the auxiliary holder 20 that is separate from the holder member 10. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the stopper portion 50 may be provided on the holder member 10. In this case, the holder member 10 corresponds to the "member provided with the stopper portion" described in the claims.
[0048] In the above-described embodiment, the holder member 10 has a side wall 12 forming the accommodation space 11, the auxiliary holder 20 has a bottom wall 22 forming the accommodation space 11, and the auxiliary holder 20 is attached below the holder member 10. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the holder member 10 may be a member in which the side wall 12 and the bottom wall forming the accommodation space are integrated, and a stopper portion 50 may be provided on the holder member 10.
[0049] In the above-described embodiment, the rotation support portion of the auxiliary holder 20 into which the shaft body 31 of the support member 30 is rotatably fitted is the shaft groove 25 formed in a groove shape. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the rotation support portion of the auxiliary holder 20 into which the shaft body 31 of the support member 30 is rotatably fitted may be a shaft hole formed through the auxiliary holder 20.
[0050] In the above-described embodiment, the support member 30 is provided with a columnar or cylindrical shaft body 31, and the auxiliary holder 20 is provided with a shaft groove 25 into which the shaft body 31 is fitted. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and conversely, the auxiliary holder 20 may be provided with a columnar or cylindrical shaft body, and the support member 30 may be provided with a shaft groove or a shaft hole into which the shaft body is fitted. In these modified forms, instead of the auxiliary holder 20, the holder member 10 may be used as the object on which the shaft groove 25, the shaft hole, and the shaft body are provided.
[0051] In the above-described embodiment, the support member 30 is formed such that the length above the shaft body 31, that is, the rotation axis C, is longer than the length below, and a part of the support member 30 above the shaft body 31 can project inside the accommodation space 11 through the side wall opening 16 of the side wall 12. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and conversely, the support member 30 may be formed such that the length below the shaft body 31, that is, the rotation axis C, is longer than the length above, and a part of the support member 30 below the shaft body 31 can project inside the accommodation space 11 through the side wall opening 16 of the side wall 12.
[0052] Further, in the above-described embodiment, the stopper surface 51 of the stopper portion 50 is disposed outside the rotation axis C and faces the outer surface of the side wall 12 and the outer surface of the cylindrical wall 23. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the stopper surface 51 may be disposed on the rotation locus of the second contact portion 33 outside the outer surface of the side wall 12, and may be oriented, for example, in a direction perpendicular to the outer surfaces of the side wall 12 and the cylindrical wall 23.
