[0008] <Beauty device> Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that for parts common to each figure, the same reference numerals may be used and the description may be omitted. Also, the scales of the respective members in each figure may be different from the actual ones. In each figure, a three-dimensional orthogonal coordinate system in three axial directions (X direction, Y direction, Z direction) is used, and the left-right direction, front-back direction, and up-down direction are the X direction, Y direction, and Z direction, respectively.
[0009] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an overview of a beauty system including a beauty device according to an embodiment. FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the beauty device according to the embodiment, FIG. 3 is a front view of FIG. 2, FIG. 4 is a left side view of FIG. 3, FIG. 5 is a right side view of FIG. 3, FIG. 6 is a plan view of FIG. 3, and FIG. 7 is a bottom view of FIG. 3. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A of FIG. 5, and FIG. 9 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a part of FIG. 8.
[0010] The beauty device 1 according to the present embodiment is a beauty device having a contact surface that contacts the skin, and includes a main body, a pressure sensor supported by the main body, and a contactor that transmits the contact pressure of the contact surface to the pressure sensor. The contactor is supported by the main body via a flexible member.
[0011] As shown in FIG. 1, the beauty device 1 is configured as a part of a beauty system 100. The beauty system 100 includes the beauty device 1 and a portable terminal 2. The beauty device 1 is communicably connected to the portable terminal 2 wirelessly or by wire. In this specification, a beauty device refers to a device used for the purpose of beauty such as substituting for the application operation of cosmetics or the like without affecting the structure and function of the body including a person's skin. Note that the beauty device 1 is an example of the beauty device according to the present embodiment.
[0012] The beauty device 1 constitutes an applicator used by the user U for applying cosmetics or an application operation (see FIGS. 1 and 2). The beauty device 1 includes a main body 10, a handle 20, a contact surface 30, a cosmetic sensor 40, a contactor 50, a pedestal 60, a suspender 70, and a frame 80 (see FIGS. 2 to 9).
[0013] Here, the cosmetic is not particularly limited. For example, it includes any of skin care cosmetics (also referred to as basic cosmetics) such as lotion, essence, emulsion, cream, etc., and makeup cosmetics (also referred to as makeup products) such as foundation, blush, lipstick, gloss, eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, nail polish, perfume, etc. Also, "application" means applying (or smearing) the cosmetic.
[0014] The main body 10 includes a substrate 11, an acceleration sensor 12, a pressure sensor 13, a vibration motor 14, and a communication module 15 (see FIGS. 5 and 8).
[0015] The substrate 11 is provided with a computer (not shown). The computer has a central processing unit (CPU), a memory, an information input unit, and an information output unit (not shown). The CPU includes a control unit and can control the beauty device 1. Specifically, the CPU controls the acceleration sensor 12, the pressure sensor 13, the vibration motor 14, and the communication module 15, and performs various processes such as arithmetic operation, control, storage, transfer, input, output, transmission, and reception of information. Note that the control unit may be configured separately from the CPU.
[0016] The memory constitutes a temporary storage device that stores information to be arithmetically operated on when the CPU executes a process. The information input unit receives information from the mobile terminal 2 and inputs it to the beauty device 1. The information output unit outputs information such as the detection result obtained by the beauty device 1. Note that the information output from the information output unit is transmitted to the mobile terminal 2.
[0017] The acceleration sensor 12 is supported by the main body 10 and detects the acceleration generated in the beauty device 1 during the application operation of the cosmetic. For example, the application speed of the cosmetic in the application operation using the beauty device 1 can be measured from the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor 12.
[0018] The pressure sensor 13 is an element or device that is supported by the main body 10 and detects the pressure generated in the beauty device 1 during the application operation of the cosmetic. Specifically, the pressure sensor 13 detects the contact pressure (or pressing force) when the contact surface 30 contacts the skin (see Fig. 8). In this specification, the skin refers to the skin of a person's face, neck, arm, leg, etc. The contact pressure indicates the pressure (or pressing force) generated on the contact surface 30 when the contact surface 30 contacts the skin.
[0019] The vibration motor 14 has a function of notifying the user U of the touch when operating the beauty device 1 and the information described later by vibration or vibration sound. The communication module 15 transmits the information obtained by the beauty device 1 to the mobile terminal 2 and receives the information transmitted from the mobile terminal 2.
[0020] Note that in the beauty device 1, the aspects of the substrate 11, the acceleration sensor 12, the pressure sensor 13, the vibration motor 14, and the communication module 15 are not limited. For example, in the pressure sensor 13, the method, material, etc. are arbitrary. Also, the beauty device 1 may be provided with auxiliary devices such as a hard disk drive (HDD) and a modular jack (not shown).
[0021] The handle 20 constitutes a handle (or grip) for applying or performing the application operation of the cosmetic. The handle 20 includes a knob 21 and a joint 22. The knob 21 constitutes the part that the user U holds (or grasps) in the handle 20. The joint 22 constitutes the part that connects the knob 21 to the main body 10.
[0022] The knob 21 is configured such that an upper part 21A and a lower part 21B are screwed together by fixing parts 23 (23A, 23B). The knob 21 is provided with a push-button type switch 24. The switch 24 is connected to the substrate 11 via a fixing member (not shown) such as a harness member or a flexible member. The user U can switch the on-off of the beauty device 1 or change the operating state of the beauty device 1 by operating the switch 24.
[0023] In addition, the knob 21 incorporates an LED lamp 26 (see FIGS. 6 and 8). The LED lamp 26 has a function of indicating the operating state of the beauty device 1 by lighting up or flashing. In the present disclosure, the upper portion 21A of the knob 21 is transparent or translucent, and the user U can confirm the lighting or flashing of the LED lamp 26 from the outside of the knob 21.
[0024] The handle 20 houses a battery 25 that constitutes the power supply of the beauty device 1 (see FIG. 8). The battery 25 is controlled by the above-described CPU and supplies power to each element 11-15, 40 of the beauty device 1. The battery 25 is housed in the handle 20 in a replaceable manner by opening and closing the above-described fixing portion 23. In the present disclosure, a part of the battery 25 is also housed in the main body 10, but all of the battery 25 may be housed in the main body 10.
[0025] The contact surface 30 forms a part of the beauty device 1 that contacts the skin. Specifically, the contact surface 30 forms a surface that is applied to the skin (or muscle) of the user U during the application or spreading operation of the cosmetic. The contact surface 30 is slidably locked to the main body 10 in the height direction (Z direction) by locking portions 31 (sliders 31A, 31B). A sheet impregnated with a cosmetic (not shown) is placed on the contact surface 30 in a state of being fixed by a holder (not shown).
[0026] Note that the contact surface 30 has flexibility. Here, flexibility refers to the property of being easily elastically deformed. The material of the contact surface 30 is not limited, but is preferably an elastic material. For example, an elastomer, rubber, etc. can be used, and among these, silicone rubber is preferred.
[0027] The cosmetic sensor 40 includes electrodes 41, 42 that are exposed on the contact surface 30. The cosmetic sensor 40 is controlled by the above-described CPU and detects the moisture content of the cosmetic impregnated in a sheet (not shown) placed on the contact surface 30 via the electrodes 41, 42. Note that the detection method of the cosmetic sensor is not limited to the method of detecting the moisture content, and for example, a detection method using an optical sensor such as a photo-reflector may be adopted.
[0028] The contact 50 is a member that contacts the pressure sensor 13 and transmits the contact pressure P generated on the contact surface 30 to the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS. 8, 9, and 15). The contact 50 may be provided integrally with the contact surface 30, or may be provided separately from the contact surface 30 on a member having the contact surface 30. The contact 50 is supported by the main body 10 via a suspender 70 described later.
[0029] The form of the contact 50 is not limited, but it preferably has flexibility. Here, having flexibility means that the contact 50 is easily elastically deformed. The material of the contact 50 is not limited, and for example, an elastomer, rubber, etc. can be used, and among these, silicone rubber is preferable.
[0030] The contact 50 includes a base 51 and a plurality of protrusions 52 (see FIGS. 8 and 9). The shape of the base 51 is not limited, and in the present embodiment, it has a disc shape (see FIGS. 8 and 9). A plurality of protrusions 52 are provided on the surface 51A of the base 51 (see FIG. 15).
[0031] The base 51 of the contact 50 is supported by a pedestal 60. The side surface 51C of the base 51 faces the side surface 61A of a recess 61 of the pedestal 60 described later. A circular fitting groove 53 that fits into a fitting protrusion 62 of the pedestal 60 described later is formed on the back surface 51B of the base 51. The base 51 is fixed to the pedestal 60 by the fitting groove 53 fitting with the fitting protrusion 62 of the pedestal 60 (see FIGS. 9 and 15).
[0032] The plurality of protrusions 52 are individually and independently formed on the surface 51A of the base 51 (FIGS. 9 and 15). The base end 52A of the protrusion 52 is connected to the base 51. The number of protrusions 52 is not limited, and can be two or more, preferably five or more, more preferably seven or more. In the present embodiment, nine protrusions 52 are provided on the surface 51A of the base 51 (see FIGS. 9 and 15).
[0033] The dimensions of the protrusion 52 are not limited. For example, the length in the left - right direction (X - direction) or the front - rear direction (Y - direction) can be 1 mm or more and 15 mm or less, preferably 2 mm or more and 10 mm or less, more preferably 3 mm or more and 5 mm or less. Also, the length in the height direction (Z - direction) can be 0.5 mm or more and 10 mm or less, preferably 1 mm or more and 8 mm or less, more preferably 2 mm or more and 5 mm or less.
[0034] The shape of the protrusion 52 is arbitrary, but preferably has a shape that tapers towards the pressure sensor 13. In this specification, the shape that tapers towards the pressure sensor 13 means that in a state where the contact 50 faces the pressure sensor 13, each protrusion 52 of the contact 50 extends in a tapered shape towards the pressure sensor 13. Specifically, the side end 52B of the protrusion 52 has a conical shape that tapers from the base end 52A towards the tip end 52C (see FIGS. 9 and 15).
[0035] The protrusion 52 is provided so as to be able to contact the pressure sensor 13. Specifically, when the contact surface 30 is not in contact with the skin, the contact 50 is arranged such that the tip end 52C of the protrusion 52 is separated from the pressure sensor 13 by a given distance D (see FIGS. 8, 9, and 15). In this specification, being separated by a given distance D means that the contact 50 is arranged with a predetermined distance D between the tip end 52C of the protrusion 52 and the pressure sensor 13 with respect to the pressure sensor 13 (see FIG. 15).
[0036] The pedestal 60 is fixed to the contact surface 30 and supports the contact 50. The pedestal 60 is provided so as to be slidable in the height direction (Z - direction) with respect to the main body 10 together with the contact surface 30 (see FIGS. 8, 9, and 16). The shape of the pedestal 60 is not limited, and in this embodiment, it has a disk shape.
[0037] The pedestal 60 has a recess 61, a fitting projection 62, a pair of through holes 63, and a circular side wall 64. In the recess 61, the contact 50 is accommodated such that the side surface 51C of the contact 50 faces the side surface 61A. The fitting projection 62 fits into the fitting groove 53 of the contact 50. The pair of through holes 63 allows the electrodes 41 and 42 of the cosmetic sensor 40 to be slidably inserted therethrough. The circular side wall 64 fits onto the other end 73 of a suspender 70 described later (see FIGS. 8 and 9).
[0038] The form of the pedestal 60 is not limited, but it is preferably rigid. The material of the contact 50 is not limited, and for example, an insulating resin, ceramic, or the like can be used. Among these, an insulating resin is preferred. Further, among insulating resins, polyacetal (or polyoxymethylene (POM)) is more preferred from the viewpoint of imparting chemical resistance, wear resistance, etc. to the pedestal.
[0039] The suspender 70 supports the contact 50 on the main body 10. The suspender 70 is composed of a flexible member. Here, the flexible member refers to a member that is easily elastically deformed. The material of the flexible member constituting the suspender 70 is not limited, and for example, an elastomer, rubber, or the like can be used. Among these, rubber with a rubber hardness of about 30 is preferred. Note that the suspender 70 is an example of a flexible member that constitutes a part of the beauty device according to the present embodiment.
[0040] The suspender 70 has a side wall 71, one end 72, and the other end 73. The form of the flexible member constituting the suspender 70 is not particularly limited, but it is preferably formed such that the side wall 71 is a corrugated cylindrical body (see FIGS. 8 to 14). Here, the side wall being a corrugated cylindrical body means a shape in which the side surface of a cylinder extends in a bellows shape (or a stepped shape) from one bottom surface to the other bottom surface (see FIGS. 8 to 14).
[0041] Specifically, the side wall 71 of the suspender 70 has three outer peripheral surfaces 71A, 71B, 71C, three lower end surfaces 71D, 71E, 71F, three inner peripheral surfaces 71G, 71H, 71J, and three upper end surfaces 71K, 71L, 71M (see FIGS. 10 to 14). One end 72 of the side wall 71 is located on the outer peripheral surface 71A side, and the other end 73 is located on the outer peripheral surface 71C side (see FIG. 10).
[0042] In the cylindrical body constituting the suspender 70, the interval C between the side walls 71 in the radial direction (R direction) becomes shorter from the main body 10 side toward the contact 50 side (see FIG. 14). Here, the interval C between the side walls 71 in the radial direction (R direction) of the cylindrical body 70 indicates the distance between the side walls 71 facing each other in the radial direction (R direction) of the cylindrical body 70. Further, the fact that the interval C between the side walls 71 becomes shorter from the main body 10 side toward the contact 50 side indicates that the cylindrical body 70 tapers from the main body 10 side toward the contact 50 side (see FIGS. 10 to 12).
[0043] Specifically, in the radial direction (R direction) of the cylindrical body constituting the suspender 70, the interval C2 of the inner peripheral surface 71H is shorter than the interval C1 of the inner peripheral surface 71G of the side wall 71, and the interval C3 of the inner peripheral surface 71J is shorter than the interval C2 of the inner peripheral surface 71H. That is, the interval C between the side walls 71 has the relationship of interval C1 > interval C2 > interval C3 (see FIG. 14).
[0044] The suspender 70 is arranged such that the contact 50 is suspended from the main body 10 via the suspender 70. Here, being suspended means that the flexible member 70 is suspended or hung from the main body 10. In the present disclosure, one end 72 of the suspender 70 is fitted into an end portion (fitting groove) 84 of a circular frame 80 described later, and a side wall 64 of the pedestal 60 is fitted to the other end 73 (see FIGS. 8 to 10).
[0045] Specifically, at one end 72 of the suspender 70, the edge 72A, a part of the outer peripheral surface 71A, and the inner peripheral surface 71G are fitted into the end part (fitting groove) 84 of the frame 80. At the other end 73 of the suspender 70, the side wall 64 of the pedestal 60 is fitted into the fitting groove 73E formed by the edge 73A, the inner peripheral surface 73B, the upper surface 73C, and the outer peripheral surface 73D (see FIGS. 8 to 10).
[0046] Thereby, while supporting the contact 50, the pedestal 60 is supported by the main body 10 via the suspender 70. Specifically, via the suspender 70 composed of a flexible member, the contact 50 and the pedestal 60 are supported so as to be slidable in the height direction (Z direction) with respect to the main body 10 (see FIGS. 8, 9, 15 to 17).
[0047] The frame 80 is fixed to the main body 10 (see FIG. 8). The shape of the frame 80 is not limited, and in the present disclosure, it has a disk shape. The aspect of the frame 80 is not limited, but preferably has rigidity. The material of the frame 80 is not limited, and for example, an insulating resin, ceramic, etc. can be used, and among these, an insulating resin is preferable. Also, among the insulating resins, from the viewpoint of imparting adhesiveness between the frame 80 and the suspender 70, the pressure sensor 13, etc., an ABS resin (acrylonitrile - butadiene - styrene copolymer) is more preferable.
[0048] The frame 80 has a base 81, a clearance 82, a recess 83, and an end 84. The base 81 constitutes the skeleton of the frame 80. The clearance 82 is provided substantially at the center of the base 81 and contributes to the weight reduction of the beauty device 1 (main body 10). The recess 83 is formed on the side opposite to the side where the clearance 82 of the base 81 is provided and houses the pressure sensor 13. The end 84 constitutes a fitting groove, and by fitting one end 72 of the suspender 70, supports the suspender 70 (see FIGS. 8 and 9).
[0049] With such a configuration, the pedestal 60 is supported in a state of being suspended from the frame 80 via the suspender 70. As a result, inside the main body 10 of the beauty device 1, a space S is formed between the pedestal 60 that supports the contact 50 and the frame 80 that supports the pressure sensor 13. In this way, when no contact pressure P is generated on the contact surface 30, the contact 50 is separated from the pressure sensor 13, and when the contact pressure P is generated, the contact 50 can contact the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS. 8, 9, 15 to 17).
[0050] The mobile terminal 2 is a portable communication terminal (for example, a smartphone) having a computer function. The mobile terminal 2 is wirelessly communicably connected to the beauty device 1. Note that, as a communication terminal capable of wireless communication with the beauty device 1, instead of the mobile terminal 2, a personal computer or the like connected by wire may be used. Further, the mobile terminal 2 may be communicably connected to the beauty device 1 through a network line, regardless of whether it is wired or wireless.
[0051] The mobile terminal 2 includes a main body, a display (not shown), and a camera. The main body incorporates a computer and a communication module (not shown) and performs various processes such as calculation, control, storage, transfer, input, output, transmission, and reception of information. Further, the main body incorporates an auxiliary storage device (not shown), and a program for assisting the application or application operation by the beauty device 1 according to the present embodiment is stored in the auxiliary storage device in a computer-readable manner.
[0052] The display visually displays information such as characters and images output by the computer in the main body. The camera is a camera (or an in-camera) having a lens (not shown) provided on the display side of the mobile terminal. The camera is controlled by the computer in the main body, captures the user U, and the imaging of the user U is captured.
[0053] The captured image of the user U is displayed on the display as a user image (not shown). The user image includes, for example, an area composed of an image of the face of the user U to which the cosmetic is applied. Further, a part of the area includes an application area where the cosmetic is partially applied. By displaying various information in these areas, the application or application operation by the beauty device 1 is supported.
[0054] In the present embodiment, as described above, the contactor 50 that transmits the contact pressure P of the contact surface 30 that contacts the skin to the pressure sensor 13 supported by the main body 10 is supported by the main body 10 via the suspender (flexible member) 70, so that the contactor 50 can be flexibly supported with respect to the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS. 9 to 15). Further, when the contact pressure P is transmitted from the contactor 50 to the pressure sensor 13, the flexible member 70 can be flexibly deformed (see FIGS. 16 to 18). Thereby, the contactor 50 can easily contact the pressure sensor 13, and the contact pressure P can be surely transmitted from the contactor 50 to the pressure sensor 13.
[0055] Further, in the present embodiment, when the contact pressure P is transmitted from the contactor 50 to the pressure sensor 13, the flexible member 70 is flexibly deformed, so that the contactor 50 can smoothly contact the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS. 16 to 18). Thereby, damage to the pressure sensor 13 caused by the contact of the contactor 50 can be reduced.
[0056] In the present embodiment, as described above, since the side wall 71 of the suspender (flexible member) 70 is formed of a corrugated cylindrical body, the contactor 50 can be supported in a well-balanced manner with respect to the pressure sensor 13 fixed to the main body 10 (see FIGS. 9 to 15). Further, when the contact pressure P is transmitted from the contactor 50 to the pressure sensor 13, the flexible member 70 can be bent in a well-balanced manner (see FIGS. 16 to 18). Thereby, since the contactor 50 contacts the pressure sensor 13 in a well-balanced manner, detection leakage of the contact pressure P by the pressure sensor 13 can be prevented.
[0057] In this embodiment, as described above, the cylindrical body constituting the flexible member 70 has the distance between the side walls 71 in the radial direction (R direction) of the cylindrical body 70 becoming shorter from the main body 10 side toward the contact 50 side, so that the contact 50 can be stably supported with respect to the pressure sensor 13. Further, it becomes easier to position the contact 50 with respect to the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS. 8 to 14). Thereby, it is possible to prevent detection omission of the contact pressure P by the pressure sensor 13 with high accuracy.
[0058] In this embodiment, as described above, since the contact 50 is suspended from the main body 10 via the flexible member 70, when the contact surface 30 is not in contact with the skin, the contact 50 is less likely to contact the pressure sensor 13. Therefore, false detection by the pressure sensor 13 can be prevented. Further, when the contact surface 30 comes into contact with the skin, the flexible member 70 deforms flexibly, and the contact 50 becomes more likely to contact the pressure sensor 13. Thereby, the contact pressure P generated on the contact surface 30 can be reliably transmitted from the contact 50 to the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS. 8, 9, 15 to 18).
[0059] In this embodiment, as described above, since the pedestal 60 supported by the main body 10 by the flexible member 70 supports the contact 50, the contact 50 can be flexibly supported with high accuracy with respect to the pressure sensor 13. Thereby, the contact pressure P can be transmitted more reliably from the contact 50 to the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS. 8, 9, and 16).
[0060] In this embodiment, as described above, by arranging the contact 50 so as to be separated from the pressure sensor 13 by a given distance D, false detection by the pressure sensor 13 when the contact surface 30 is not in contact with the skin can be prevented with high accuracy. Further, by doing so, the contact 50 can be brought into contact with the pressure sensor 13 only when the contact surface 30 comes into contact with the skin, so that the contact pressure P generated on the contact surface 30 can be reliably transmitted from the contact 50 to the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS. 8, 9, 15 to 18).
[0061] In addition, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 18, even when a biased contact pressure P is transmitted to a part of the contactor 50 and the contactor 50 is in an inclined state (even when the protrusions 521 to 523 do not contact the pressure sensor 13), the contact pressure P can be transmitted to the pressure sensor 13 through a part of the protrusions 52 of the contactor 50 that contact the pressure sensor 13 (the protrusions 524 and 525 contact the pressure sensor 13).
[0062] <Support> The support according to the present embodiment can be constituted by the suspender 70 that forms a part of the above-described beauty device 1. That is, the support 70 according to the present embodiment supports the contactor 50 that transmits the contact pressure P of the contact surface 30 that contacts the skin to the pressure sensor 13, and is constituted by a flexible member (see FIGS. 1 to 14).
[0063] In the present embodiment, by configuring the support 70 that supports the contactor 50 that transmits the contact pressure P of the contact surface 30 that contacts the skin to the pressure sensor 13 with the flexible member 70, similar to the flexible member 70 in the above-described beauty device 1, the contactor 50 can be flexibly supported with respect to the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS.
[0064] In addition, in the present embodiment, when the contact pressure P is transmitted from the contactor 50 to the pressure sensor 13, the flexible member 70 is flexibly deformed, so that the contactor 50 can smoothly contact the pressure sensor 13 (see FIGS. 16 to 18). Thereby, damage to the pressure sensor 13 caused by the contact of the contactor 50 can be reduced.
[0065] In the support 70 according to the present embodiment, it is preferable that the flexible member constituting the support 70 has a side wall 71 formed as a corrugated cylindrical body (see FIGS. 8 to 14). Such a support 70 can also use the suspender 70 that constitutes a part of the above-described beauty device 1.
[0066] In the present embodiment, since the flexible member 70 has a side wall 71 formed as a corrugated cylindrical body, the contact 50 can be supported in a well-balanced manner with respect to the pressure sensor 13 fixed to the main body 10, similar to the flexible member 70 in the above-described beauty device 1 (see FIGS. 9 to 15). Further, when the contact pressure P is transmitted from the contact 50 to the pressure sensor 13, the flexible member 70 can bend in a well-balanced manner (see FIGS. 16 to 18). As a result, the contact 50 contacts the pressure sensor 13 in a well-balanced manner, so that detection leakage of the contact pressure P by the pressure sensor 13 can be prevented.
[0067] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to specific embodiments, and various modifications and changes are possible within the scope of the invention described in the claims.
[0068] This application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2019-236609 filed on December 26, 2019, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
