To identify a behavior pattern of a user based on information on a behavior state of the user.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a behavior state detection sensor for detecting behavior state information relating to a behavior state of a user; a behavior pattern information generating unit for generating behavior pattern information in a multi-dimensional space using, as coordinate axes, parameters of at least date, place, and time in which the behavior state is detected, and for grouping the behavior pattern information into groups for each of spaces in which a density of a behavior pattern information group where pieces of the behavior pattern information are gathered exceeds a threshold density; a behavior score calculating unit for calculating information on the size of a space including the behavior pattern information group as a behavior score; and a behavior pattern identifying unit for identifying, as a behavior pattern of the user, the behavior pattern information group existing in a space having a value of the behavior score equal to or larger than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
