AI Technical Summary
Technical Problem
Current multi-user transmission in WLAN systems, such as 802.11ax and 802.11be, is limited by maximum power and power spectral density, resulting in low transmission efficiency.
Method used
Implementing a distributed resource unit (DRU) indication mechanism that assigns discrete subcarriers on a larger bandwidth, allowing for increased transmission power without exceeding power spectral density limits, using trigger-based frames to determine distributed resource blocks with specific data and pilot subcarrier configurations.
Benefits of technology
Enhances transmission efficiency by increasing transmission power on a finite number of subcarriers, achieving higher gain and improved throughput in multi-user scenarios.

Abstract
The embodiments of the present disclosure provide an information transmission method, a communication device, a storage medium, a chip, and a program product. The method includes the steps of: receiving a trigger-based frame from a second device by a first device, the trigger-based frame including distributed resource unit indication information; determining one or more distributed resource blocks based on the distributed resource unit indication information, each of the one or more distributed resource blocks including N1 data subcarriers and N2 pilot subcarriers, and an absolute value of an index difference between every two data subcarriers among the N3 data subcarriers in the N1 data subcarriers is equal to or greater than 4; and transmitting a response to the trigger-based frame on the one or more distributed resource blocks to the second device. In this way, the subcarriers included in the DRU can be completely discrete, and the pilot subcarriers included in the DRU can also be completely discrete. Thus, compared with a continuous RU, the DRU can achieve the maximum power amplification factor at the same power spectral density. This improves transmission efficiency.
