FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a portion of a vehicle 1 equipped with a luggage compartment shielding structure of the present invention. FIG. 2A is a perspective view showing a portion of the shielding structure of the vehicle 1, and FIG. 2B is a perspective view showing a rail portion of the shielding structure. The vehicle 1 has a luggage compartment 3 behind the seats 2 (rearward (rear side) in the direction of travel). The luggage compartment 3 is open upward and rearward. For convenience, the portion of the luggage compartment 3 that is open upward will be referred to as the upper opening, and the portion that is open rearward will be referred to as the rear opening. An openable back door 15 is provided at the rearmost portion of the vehicle 1 so as to close the upper opening and the rear opening of the luggage compartment 3.
