[0053] The movable cover plate 21' is made of plastic, and a mounting post 22' is erected in the center of the movable cover plate 21'. The mounting post 22' passes through the mounting hole 12' and is movable up and down relative to the fixed cover 10'.
[0054] The sealing ring 23' is made of rubber or silica gel and is fitted onto the outer periphery of the movable cover plate 21'. When the movable cover plate 21' covers the kettle body opening, it forms a seal at the contact point between the movable cover plate 21' and the top structure of the kettle body 200.
[0055] The decorative sheet is made of stainless steel and is positioned on the opposite side of the movable cover plate 21' from the fixed cover 10', and is of substantially the same material and color as the fixed cover 10', improving the aesthetics of the kettle lid 100. In addition, by covering the movable cover plate 21' with a stainless steel decorative sheet, the strength of the movable cover assembly 20' can be improved to a certain extent and the movable cover plate 21' can be protected from wear and deformation of the movable cover plate 21'.
[0056] The button assembly 30' is disposed in the storage cavity, protrudes partially through the decorative cover 70' through the through-hole 71', and is connected to the fixed cover 10' and the mounting post 22' so as to be movable up and down so as to have an open state and a closed state. When pressed from the outside, when switching from the open state to the closed state, the mounting post 22' is pressed downward and the movable cover plate 21' descends relative to the fixed cover 10' to seal the top opening of the electric kettle, or when switching from the closed state to the open state, the mounting post 22' is pressed downward and the movable cover plate 21' ascends relative to the fixed lid 10' to open the top opening of the electric kettle and allow draining.
[0057] In the push-to-open / close kettle lid 100 of the present invention, when the button assembly 30' is pressed to switch from the open state to the closed state, the movable lid assembly 20' descends, sealing the kettle body opening. When the button is pressed again to switch from the closed state to the open state, the movable lid assembly 20' ascends, opening the kettle body opening and allowing water to flow out. This allows the kettle body 200's water outlet to be opened and closed by pressing a button, resulting in ease of use and high safety. Here, when the button is pressed on the fixed lid 10', the movable lid assembly 20' closes the kettle body opening, sealing the electric kettle. Compared to the conventional kettle lid 100 that dispenses water by pressing a button, this avoids the problem of accidentally pressing the button and further improves safety in use.
[0058] In one embodiment, a fixed shell 17' having an internal cavity 170 around the mounting hole 12' is provided within the fixed cover 10', and strip-shaped grooves 171' and toothed grooves 172' communicating with the internal cavity 170 are alternately formed on the inner wall of the fixed shell 17', the strip-shaped grooves 171' and toothed grooves 172' both open from one end of the fixed shell 17' close to the bottom wall of the fixed cover 10' to one end away from the bottom wall of the fixed cover 10' and communicate with each other, and in the height direction of the fixed shell 17', the length of the strip-shaped grooves 171' is longer than the length of the toothed grooves 172'.

[0061] The movable tooth block 32' has a stepped shape and is housed within the fixed shell 17'. The top of the movable tooth block 32' is fixed to the mounting post 22' as a fixed end 322', and the outer periphery of the lower end of the movable tooth block 32' extends outward to form a flange 321', with a plurality of locking teeth 323' evenly distributed on the flange. When the movable tooth block 32' is pressed by the button head 31', the locking teeth 323' alternately enter the band-shaped groove 171' or the toothed groove 172'. The return spring 40' is fitted onto the mounting post 22', and both ends of the return spring 40' abut against the bottom wall of the fixed cover 10' and the movable tooth block 32', respectively, tending to abut the locking teeth 323' into the toothed groove 172'.
[0062] As a result, when the button on the kettle lid 100 is pressed to switch from the open state to the closed state, the movable cover plate 21' is driven to move downward to block the top opening of the kettle body and seal the kettle. When the button is released, the locking teeth 323' slide into the toothed grooves 172' to lock the movable cover plate 21' and maintain the sealed state. When the button is pressed again, the kettle lid 100 switches from the closed state to the open state, and the movable toothed block 32' is acted upon by the button head 31' to rotate a certain angle and enter the area where the strip-shaped groove 171' is located. When the button head 31' is released, the locking teeth 323' is acted upon by the return spring 40' to slide upward along the strip-shaped groove 171', and the movable toothed block 32' drives the movable cover plate 21' to move upward relative to the fixed lid 10', opening the top opening of the kettle body 200 and discharging water.
[0063] In one embodiment, the end of the button head 31' is provided with a driving inclined surface, the locking tooth 323' is provided with a pressure-receiving inclined surface 3231' that cooperates with the driving inclined surface and can slide obliquely with the driving inclined surface, and the strip-shaped groove 171' and the tooth-shaped groove 172' are both provided with cooperating inclined surfaces that cooperate with the pressure-receiving inclined surface 3231', so that when the button head 31' is pressed, the driving inclined surface acts on the pressure-receiving inclined surface, causing the movable tooth block 32' to rotate by a predetermined angle, thereby switching the locking tooth 323' between the strip-shaped groove 171' and the tooth-shaped groove 172'. The provision of mutually cooperating inclined surfaces improves the smoothness of relative movement between the button head 31', the movable tooth block 32', and the fixed shell 17'.
