Abstract

To provide a building having a courtyard separated from the outdoors by a partition having an opening, with an improved appearance when the building is viewed from a position facing the partition.SOLUTION: A building 1 has a courtyard SB that connects to the outdoor SA. The building 1 includes a building section 3 having rooms, and a courtyard section 4 that includes the courtyard SB and is located adjacently to the building section 3. The courtyard section 4 has a first partition section 20 that is located between the courtyard SB and the outdoor SA. The first partition section 20 has multiple vertical wall sections 22 that are arranged with openings 21 therebetween.
