[0002] In recent years, a stator has been known in which rectangular conductors are arranged in the slots to improve the space factor of the conductors in the slots (Patent Document 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2010-166802 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] In the motor disclosed in Patent Document 1, the ends of the conductors are arranged on the radially inner and outer edges of the stator. The ends of the conductors are connected to a neutral bus bar that forms a neutral point and phase bus bars that allow current to flow through the conductors. Thus, the stators of the prior art had a problem in that the process of connecting the bus bars was inefficient.

[0005] In view of the above circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide a stator and a motor that can be easily connected to a bus bar. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] One aspect of the stator of the present invention includes a stator core having a ring-shaped stator core centered on a central axis and a plurality of slots arranged circumferentially, and a phase coil unit for multiple phases attached to the stator core. The phase coil unit has a conductor connection body formed by connecting a plurality of conductors in series. The conductor connection body has a plurality of straight portions passing through the slots, a plurality of bent portions connecting the straight portions together on one axial side of the stator core, and a plurality of connecting portions connecting the conductors together on the other axial side of the stator core. One slot is provided with an even number of layers arranged radially. The conductor connection body rotates around the stator core, with the straight portions arranged circumferentially passing alternately through the Mth layer and the (M+1)th layer, where M is an odd natural number. The conductor connection body has a first end portion, a first portion wave-wound from the first end portion to one circumferential side, a turned-back portion connected to an end portion of the first portion on one circumferential side, a second portion wave-wound from the turned-back portion to the other circumferential side, and a second end portion connected to an end portion of the second portion on the other circumferential side. The first portions of the multiple conductor connection bodies of the same phase are arranged in order in the slots lined up one by one on one circumferential side. The second portions of the multiple conductor connection bodies of the same phase are arranged in order in the slots lined up one by one on the other circumferential side. The first end portion and the second end portion extend from the outermost layer. One phase coil section has at least two or more conductor connection bodies. The first end portions of two or more conductor connection bodies of one phase coil section are electrically connected to each other. The second end portions of two or more conductor connection bodies of one phase coil section are electrically connected to each other.

[0007] One aspect of the motor of the present invention includes the above-described stator and a rotor radially opposed to the stator. [Effects of the Invention]

[0008] According to one aspect of the present invention, it is possible to provide a stator and a motor that can be easily connected to a bus bar. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[0010] The Z-axis direction, as shown appropriately in each figure, is the up-down direction, with the positive side being the "upper side" and the negative side being the "lower side." The central axis J, as shown appropriately in each figure, is a virtual line that is parallel to the Z-axis direction and extends in the up-down direction. In the following description, the axial direction of the central axis J, i.e., the direction parallel to the up-down direction, may be simply referred to as the "axial direction," the upper side may be referred to as the "one axial side," and the lower side may be referred to as the "other axial side." Furthermore, the radial direction centered on the central axis J may be simply referred to as the "radial direction." Furthermore, the circumferential direction centered on the central axis J may be simply referred to as the "circumferential direction," the clockwise direction as viewed from above may be referred to as the "one circumferential side," and the counterclockwise direction as viewed from above may be referred to as the "other circumferential side."

[0011] Note that the terms "up-down direction," "upper side," and "lower side" are simply names used to describe the positional relationships of the various components, and the actual positional relationships may be other than those indicated by these names. Furthermore, the effects of the embodiments can be reproduced even if the directions described as one axial side and the other axial side are interchanged. Similarly, the effects of the embodiments can be reproduced even if the directions described as one circumferential side θ1 and the other circumferential side θ2 are interchanged.

[0012] First Embodiment FIG. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a motor 1 according to this embodiment. The motor 1 of this embodiment is an inner rotor type motor. The center of the motor 1 is a central axis J.

[0013] The motor 1 includes a housing 2, a rotor 3, a stator 10, a bearing holder 4, and bearings 5a and 5b. The housing 2 accommodates the rotor 3, the stator 10, the bearing holder 4, and the bearings 5a and 5b.

[0014] The rotor 3 is rotatable about a central axis J. The rotor 3 is disposed radially inside the annular stator 10. In other words, the rotor 3 faces the stator 10 in the radial direction. The rotor 3 has a shaft 3a, a rotor magnet 3b, and a rotor core 3c.

[0015] The shaft 3a extends in the axial direction along the central axis J. The shaft 3a is, for example, cylindrical and extends in the axial direction around the central axis J. The shaft 3a is supported by bearings 5a and 5b so as to be rotatable around the central axis J.

[0016] Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the rotor 3 and the stator 10 taken along line II-II in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a partial cross-sectional view of the stator 10, showing a part of Fig. 2.

[0017] The rotor core 3c is made by laminating electromagnetic steel sheets. The rotor core 3c is cylindrical and extends in the axial direction. The inner peripheral surface of the rotor core 3c is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 3a. The rotor core 3c is located between a pair of bearings 5a and 5b in the axial direction. The rotor core 3c is provided with a retaining hole 3h into which the rotor magnet 3b is inserted and fixed.

[0018] The rotor magnet 3b faces the stator 10 in the radial direction. The rotor magnet 3b is held embedded in the rotor core 3c. The rotor 3 of this embodiment is provided with eight rotor magnets 3b as segment magnets. That is, the rotor magnet 3b of this embodiment has eight poles. The number of poles of the rotor 3 is not limited to this embodiment. The rotor magnet 3b may also be an annular ring magnet.

[0019] The stator 10 faces the rotor 3 in the radial direction with a gap therebetween. In this embodiment, the stator 10 is located radially outside the rotor 3. The stator 10 includes a stator core 20, a stator coil 30, and a plurality of insulating papers 40.

[0020] The stator core 20 is annular and centered on a central axis J. The stator core 20 is made of a plurality of electromagnetic steel plates laminated along the axial direction. The stator core 20 has a cylindrical core back portion 21 centered on the central axis J, and a plurality of teeth 22 extending radially inward from the core back portion 21.

[0021] The multiple teeth 22 are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. Umbrella portions 22a are provided at the radially inner tips of the teeth 22. The umbrella portions 22a protrude on both circumferential sides of the teeth 22. In other words, the circumferential dimension of the umbrella portions 22a is greater than the circumferential dimension of the teeth 22. The surface of the umbrella portions 22a facing radially inward faces the outer circumferential surface of the rotor 3 with a radial gap between them.

[0022] Stator coils 30 are attached to the teeth 22. Slots 29 are provided between circumferentially adjacent teeth 22. That is, the stator core 20 is provided with a plurality of slots 29 aligned in the circumferential direction.

[0023] The slots 29 accommodate the portions of the stator coils 30 excluding the coil ends (straight portions 50a, which will be described later). Each slot 29 also accommodates an insulating paper 40. The insulating paper 40 is provided in the slot 29 to ensure insulation between the stator coils 30 and the stator core 20.

[0024] An even number of layers 29a, 29b, 29c, and 29d (four layers in this embodiment) are arranged radially in one slot 29. Here, the four layers are referred to as a first layer 29a, a second layer 29b, a third layer 29c, and a fourth layer 29d, respectively, from the outside to the inside in the radial direction. Counting from the outside in the radial direction, the first layer 29a is the first layer, the second layer 29b is the second layer, the third layer 29c is the third layer, and the fourth layer 29d is the fourth layer.

[0025] In this embodiment, the width of the slot 29 in the circumferential direction is slightly larger than the dimension of the conductor 50 in the circumferential direction. Within one slot, one conductor 50 is arranged in each of the layers 29a, 29b, 29c, and 29d. Within the slot 29, four conductors 50 are aligned in a row along the radial direction.

[0026] The slots 29 have openings 29h that open radially inward. The openings 29h are located between the umbrella portions 22a that are located at the tips of adjacent teeth 22. The width dimension of the openings 29h along the circumferential direction is smaller than the dimension of the conductors 50 along the circumferential direction. Therefore, the conductors 50 have difficulty passing through the openings 29h, and separation of the conductors 50 from the stator core 20 is suppressed.

[0027] In this embodiment, the stator core 20 has 48 teeth 22. That is, the stator 10 of this embodiment has 48 slots. The number of slots in the stator 10 is set appropriately depending on the number of poles of the rotor magnet 3b and the winding method of the stator coil 30.

[0028] Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the stator 10. Fig. 5 is a plan view of the stator 10. The stator coil 30 of this embodiment has three star-connected phase coil sections 30A. That is, one ends of the three phase coil sections 30A are connected to each other at one point to form a neutral point, and an AC current flows through the other ends of the three phase coil sections 30A. The three phase coil sections 30A are each attached to the stator core 20. Hereinafter, when distinguishing between the three phase coil sections 30A, they will be referred to as a U-phase coil section 30U, a V-phase coil section 30V, and a W-phase coil section 30W. Although the phase coil sections 30A provided in the stator 10 of this embodiment are three-phase, they may be five-phase, for example. That is, the stator 10 includes phase coil sections 30A of multiple phases, such as three or five phases.

[0029] A U-phase busbar (phase busbar) 9U is connected to the U-phase coil section 30U. An AC current flows through the U-phase coil section 30U via the U-phase busbar 9U. A V-phase busbar (phase busbar) 9V is connected to the V-phase coil section 30V. An AC current flows through the V-phase coil section 30V via the V-phase busbar 9V. A W-phase busbar (phase busbar) 9W is connected to the W-phase coil section 30W. An AC current flows through the W-phase coil section 30W via the W-phase busbar 9W. The phases of the AC currents flowing through the U-phase coil section 30U, V-phase coil section 30V, and W-phase coil section 30W are shifted by 120° from each other. A neutral busbar 8 is connected to the U-phase coil section 30U, V-phase coil section 30V, and W-phase coil section 30W. The neutral busbar 8 forms the neutral point of the three-phase circuit.

[0030] 6 is a perspective view of one of the three phase coil sections 30A. The specific configuration of the phase coil section 30A will be described below. The phase coil section 30A described below may be any one of the U-phase coil section 30U, the V-phase coil section 30V, and the W-phase coil section 30W.

[0031] One phase coil section 30A has at least two or more conductor connecting bodies 60. In this embodiment, the phase coil section 30A includes two conductor connecting bodies 60. The conductor connecting body 60 is configured by connecting a plurality of conductors 50 in series. In the following description, when two conductor connection bodies 60 need to be distinguished from each other, one will be referred to as a first conductor connection body 60A and the other as a second conductor connection body 60B.

[0032] 7 to 11 are front views of the conductors 50 constituting the conductor connection body 60, viewed from the outside in the radial direction. Fig. 12 is a schematic diagram showing the configurations of the first conductor connection body 60A and the second conductor connection body 60B.

[0033] The conductor 50 is formed by winding a rectangular wire. This allows for a higher space factor of the conductor 50 in the slot 29 than when a round wire is used. In this specification, a "rectangular wire" refers to a wire having a rectangular or approximately rectangular cross section. In this specification, the term "approximately rectangular" includes a rectangular shape with rounded corners. Although not shown in the drawings, in this embodiment, the conductor 50 has an enamel coating on its surface.

[0034] The multiple conductors 50 that make up the conductor connection body 60 are classified into terminal conductors 51 (Figure 7), hairpin conductors 52 (Figure 8), interlayer hairpin conductors 53 (Figure 9), first foldback conductors 54 (Figure 10), and second foldback conductors 55.

[0035] 7 to 11, each type of conductor 50 has at least a straight portion 50a extending linearly along the axial direction (Z direction) and a connecting portion 50b located at the end on the lower side (the other axial side). The straight portion 50a passes through the slot 29. That is, the conductor 50 is accommodated in the slot 29 at the straight portion 50a.

[0036] The connecting portion 50b is connected to the connecting portion 50b of another conductor 50. The connecting portions 50b of a pair of conductors 50 are joined to each other by means such as welding. After the conductor 50 is attached to the stator core 20, the connecting portion 50b is bent in the circumferential direction and welded to the connecting portion 50b of the other conductor 50. As indicated by the two-dot chain lines in FIGS. 7 to 11, in the conductor 50 before being attached to the stator core 20, the connecting portion 50b is linear and continues to the linear portion 50a. The conductor 50 is attached to the stator core 20 by inserting the connecting portion 50b and the linear portion 50a into the slots 29 from the upper side (one axial side) of the stator core 20. By bending the connecting portion 50b in the circumferential direction and welding it to the other connecting portion 50b, the conductor 50 is prevented from detaching from the stator core 20 in the axial direction.

[0037] The stator 10 of this embodiment can be assembled by inserting the conductors 50 from above into the slots 29 of the stator core 20 and welding them from below. This eliminates the need for a complex assembly process, and simplifies the assembly process.

[0038] As shown in FIG. 7, the terminal conductor 51 has one terminal portion 50c, one straight portion 50a, and one connecting portion 50b. The terminal portion 50c is located at the upper end of the terminal conductor 51. The terminal portion 50c is bent in the circumferential direction relative to the straight portion 50a. In the terminal conductor 51, the terminal portion 50c and the connecting portion 50b are bent in opposite directions in the circumferential direction. In the terminal conductor 51, the terminal portion 50c extends from the upper end of the straight portion 50a toward the other circumferential side θ2, and the connecting portion 50b extends from the lower end of the straight portion 50a toward the one circumferential side θ1.

[0039] The terminal end portion 50c is connected to one of the neutral busbar 8, the U-phase busbar 9U, the V-phase busbar 9V, and the W-phase busbar 9W. As shown in Fig. 12, the first conductor connection body 60A and the second conductor connection body 60B are each provided with two terminal conductors 51.

[0040] 8, the hairpin conductor 52 has two straight portions 50a, two connecting portions 50b, and one bent portion 50d. The bent portion 50d is located at the upper end of the hairpin conductor 52. The bent portion 50d connects the two straight portions 50a. That is, in the hairpin conductor 52, the two straight portions 50a are connected to each other via the bent portion 50d. In the hairpin conductor 52, the two connecting portions 50b are each connected to the lower ends of different straight portions 50a.

[0041] In the hairpin conductor 52, the two connecting portions 50b are arranged at a per-pole slots interval. Here, the per-pole slots interval refers to the number of slots 29 in the stator 10 that are arranged between one magnetic pole of the rotor 3 when the rotor 3 and the stator 10 are combined. The per-pole slots interval is calculated by (total number of slots in the stator 10) / (number of magnetic poles in the rotor 3). In this embodiment, the rotor 3 has eight magnetic poles and the stator 10 has 48 slots, so the per-pole slots interval is six. In the hairpin conductor 52, the two connecting portions 50b are spaced apart circumferentially by six slots.

[0042] In the hairpin conductor 52, the two connecting portions 50b are bent in opposite directions in the circumferential direction. One of the two connecting portions 50b, located on one circumferential side θ1, extends from the lower end of the straight portion 50a toward the one circumferential side θ1, and the other, located on the other circumferential side θ2, extends from the lower end of the straight portion 50a toward the other circumferential side θ2. As shown in FIG. 12 , the first conductor connected body 60A and the second conductor connected body 60B each include 12 hairpin conductors 52.

[0043] 9, the interlayer hairpin conductor 53 has two straight portions 50a, two connecting portions 50b, and one interlayer bent portion 50e. The interlayer bent portion 50e is located at the upper end of the interlayer hairpin conductor 53. The interlayer bent portion 50e connects the two straight portions 50a. That is, in the interlayer hairpin conductor 53, the two straight portions 50a are connected to each other via the interlayer bent portion 50e.

[0044] In the interlayer hairpin conductor 53, two connecting portions 50b are arranged side by side with the number of slots per pole (six slots in this embodiment). In the interlayer hairpin conductor 53, the two connecting portions 50b are bent in opposite directions in the circumferential direction. One of the two connecting portions 50b, located on one circumferential side θ1, extends from the lower end of the straight portion 50a toward the one circumferential side θ1, while the other, located on the other circumferential side θ2, extends from the lower end of the straight portion 50a toward the other circumferential side θ2. The interlayer hairpin conductor 53 differs from the hairpin conductor 52 mainly in the configuration of the interlayer bent portion 50e. The interlayer bent portion 50e has a slightly different shape from the bent portion 50d of the hairpin conductor 52. As shown in FIG. 12 , the first conductor connected body 60A and the second conductor connected body 60B each include two interlayer hairpin conductors 53.

[0045] As shown in Fig. 10, the first folding conductor 54 has two straight portions 50a, two connecting portions 50b, and one first folding portion (folded portion) 50f. As shown in Fig. 11, the second folding conductor 55 has two straight portions 50a, two connecting portions 50b, and one second folding portion (folded portion) 50g. The first folding portion 50f and the second folding portion 50g are disposed at the upper end of the first folding conductor 54 or the second folding conductor 55, respectively.

[0046] The first folded portion 50f and the second folded portion 50g connect the two straight portions 50a together. That is, in the first folded conductor 54 and the second folded conductor 55, the two straight portions 50a are connected to each other via the first folded portion 50f or the second folded portion 50g, respectively.

[0047] In the first folding conductor 54 and the second folding conductor 55, the two connecting portions 50b are folded toward the other circumferential side θ2. That is, in the first folding conductor 54 and the second folding conductor 55, the two connecting portions 50b each extend from the lower end of the straight portion 50a toward the other circumferential side θ2.

[0048] The distance between each pair of connecting portions 50b in the first folding conductor 54 and the second folding conductor 55 is different from each other. In the first folding conductor 54, the two connecting portions 50b are arranged at a distance of (the number of slots per pole + 1) (seven slots in this embodiment). On the other hand, in the second folding conductor 55, the two connecting portions 50b are arranged at a distance of (the number of slots per pole - 1) (five slots in this embodiment). Therefore, the first folding portion 50f has a circumferential extension that is two slots longer than the second folding portion 50g.

[0049] The first folded portion 50f has a folded portion 50fa that bends from one circumferential side θ1 to the other circumferential side θ2, and two extending portions 50fb, 50fc that connect to both ends of the folded portion 50fa. The first folded portion 50f extends from the slot 29 to the one circumferential side θ1 at the two extending portions 50fb, 50fc. The two extending portions 50fb, 50fc extend parallel to each other before and after the folded portion 50fa.

[0050] The second folded portion 50g has a folded portion 50ga that bends from one circumferential side θ1 to the other circumferential side θ2, and two extending portions 50gb, 50gc that connect to both ends of the folded portion 50ga. The second folded portion 50g extends from the slot 29 to the one circumferential side θ1 at the two extending portions 50gb, 50gc. The two extending portions 50gb, 50gc extend parallel to each other before and after the folded portion 50ga.

[0051] 12, the first conductor connected body 60A is provided with one first folding conductor 54. On the other hand, the second conductor connected body 60B is provided with one second folding conductor 55.

[0052] As shown in FIG. 12, in the first conductor connected body 60A, the two end conductors 51 are arranged at the ends of both ends of the first conductor connected body 60A, respectively, and the first return conductor 54 is arranged approximately in the middle.

[0053] The first conductor linked body 60A has two end conductors 51, twelve hairpin conductors 52, two interlayer hairpin conductors 53, and a first turning-back conductor 54. In the first conductor linked body 60A, one end conductor 51, three hairpin conductors 52, one interlayer hairpin conductor 53, three hairpin conductors 52, the first turning-back conductor 54, three hairpin conductors 52, one interlayer hairpin conductor 53, three hairpin conductors 52, and the other end conductor 51 are connected in this order.

[0054] The first conductor connecting body 60A has a plurality (32) of straight portions 50a, a plurality (14) of bent portions 50d, 50e that connect the straight portions 50a together on the upper side (one axial side) of the stator core 20, and a plurality (16) of connecting portions 50b that connect the conductors 50 together on the lower side (other axial side) of the stator core 20.

[0055] The first conductor connected body 60A is wave-wound every six slots toward one circumferential side θ1 from one end portion 50c to the first folded-back portion 50f. The first conductor connected body 60A is wave-wound every six slots toward the other circumferential side θ2 from the first folded-back portion 50f to the other end portion 50c.

[0056] Here, of the two end conductors 51, one end portion 50c connected to one of the phase busbars 9U, 9V, and 9W is referred to as the input-side end portion (first end portion) 63, and the other end portion 50c connected to the neutral busbar 8 is referred to as the neutral-side end portion (second end portion) 64. Furthermore, in the first conductor connected body 60A, a region that is wave-wound on one circumferential side θ1 between the input-side end portion 63 and the first folded-back portion 50f is referred to as the first portion 61. In the first conductor connected body 60A, a region that is wave-wound on the other circumferential side θ2 between the first folded-back portion 50f and the neutral-side end portion 64 is referred to as the second portion 62. If the one circumferential side θ1 is defined as the forward direction and the other circumferential side θ2 is defined as the reverse direction, the first portion 61 can be referred to as the forward-direction portion, and the second portion 62 can be referred to as the reverse-direction portion.

[0057] The first conductor connecting body 60A has an input side terminal portion 63, a first portion 61 that is wave-wound from the input side terminal portion 63 to one circumferential side θ1, a first folded portion 50f connected to the end of the first portion 61 on one circumferential side θ1, a second portion 62 that is wave-wound from the first folded portion 50f to the other circumferential side θ2, and a neutral point side terminal portion 64 connected to the end of the second portion 62 on the other circumferential side θ2.

[0058] Fig. 13 is a schematic diagram showing the arrangement of the straight portion 50a of the first portion 61 of the first conductor connected body 60A in the slot 29 through which the straight portion 50a of the second portion 62 of the first conductor connected body 60A passes. Fig. 14 is a schematic diagram showing the arrangement of the straight portion 50a of the second portion 62 of the first conductor connected body 60A in the slot 29 through which the straight portion 50a of the second portion 62 of the first conductor connected body 60A passes.

[0059] As shown in Fig. 13, the first conductor connecting body 60A has a first portion 61 that makes two turns on one circumferential side θ1. The first portion 61 may have more than two turns. As shown in Fig. 14, the first conductor connecting body 60A has a second portion 62 that makes two turns on the other circumferential side θ2. The second portion 62 may have the same number of turns on the other circumferential side θ2 as the first portion 61.

[0060] The first portion 61 and the second portion 62 of the first conductor coupled body 60A each have an interlayer bent portion 50e at a boundary where the number of turns changes. Here, the "boundary where the number of turns changes" refers to a region where the number of turns changes in the routing of the first portion 61 and the second portion 62 around the central axis J, such as the boundary between the first turn and the second turn, or the boundary between the Nth turn and the N+1th turn.

[0061] As shown in FIG. 13 , the first conductor connection body 60A winds around between the input-side end portion 63 and the interlayer bent portion 50e, with the circumferentially aligned straight portions 50a passing alternately through the first layer 29a and the second layer 29b. The first conductor connection body 60A extends from the second layer 29b to the third layer 29c at the interlayer bent portion 50e of the first portion 61. The first conductor connection body 60A winds around between the interlayer bent portion 50e and the first folded portion 50f, with the circumferentially aligned straight portions 50a passing alternately through the third layer 29c and the fourth layer 29d. In the first portion 61 of the first conductor connection body 60A, the straight portions 50a pass through the same slots 29 on the first and second turns.

[0062] As shown in FIG. 14 , the first conductor connection body 60A winds around between the first folded portion 50f and the interlayer bent portion 50e, with the circumferentially aligned straight portions 50a passing alternately through the third layer 29c and the fourth layer 29d. The first conductor connection body 60A extends from the third layer 29c to the second layer 29b at the interlayer bent portion 50e of the second portion 62. The first conductor connection body 60A winds around between the interlayer bent portion 50e and the neutral point-side end portion 64, with the circumferentially aligned straight portions 50a passing alternately through the first layer 29a and the second layer 29b. In the second portion 62 of the first conductor connection body 60A, the straight portions 50a pass through the same slots 29 on the first and second turns.

[0063] The second conductor coupled body 60B has a configuration substantially similar to that of the first conductor coupled body 60A, but differs mainly in the configuration of the folded portion and the position of the slot 29 through which it passes.

[0064] As shown in FIG. 12, in the second conductor connected body 60B, the two end conductors 51 are arranged at the ends of both ends of the second conductor connected body 60B, respectively, and the second return conductor 55 is arranged approximately in the middle.

[0065] The second conductor linked body 60B has two end conductors 51, twelve hairpin conductors 52, two interlayer hairpin conductors 53, and a second turning conductor 55. In the second conductor linked body 60B, one end conductor 51, three hairpin conductors 52, one interlayer hairpin conductor 53, three hairpin conductors 52, the second turning conductor 55, three hairpin conductors 52, one interlayer hairpin conductor 53, three hairpin conductors 52, and the other end conductor 51 are connected in this order.

[0066] The second conductor connecting body 60B has a plurality (32) of straight portions 50a, a plurality (14) of bent portions 50d, 50e that connect the straight portions 50a together on the upper side (one axial side) of the stator core 20, and a plurality (16) of connecting portions 50b that connect the conductors 50 together on the lower side (other axial side) of the stator core 20.

[0067] The second conductor connected body 60B is wave-wound every six slots toward one circumferential side θ1 from the input-side end portion 63, which is one end portion 50c, to the second turned-up portion 50g (first portion 61). The second conductor connected body 60B is wave-wound every six slots toward the other circumferential side θ2 from the second turned-up portion 50g to the neutral-point-side end portion 64, which is the other end portion 50c (second portion 62). That is, the second conductor connecting body 60B has an input side terminal portion 63, a first portion 61 that is wave-wound from the input side terminal portion 63 to one circumferential side θ1, a second folded portion 50g connected to the end of the first portion 61 on one circumferential side θ1, a second portion 62 that is wave-wound from the second folded portion 50g to the other circumferential side θ2, and a neutral point side terminal portion 64 connected to the end of the second portion 62 on the other circumferential side θ2.

[0068] Fig. 15 is a schematic diagram showing the arrangement of the straight portion 50a of the first portion of the second conductor connected body 60B in the slot 29 through which the straight portion 50a of the second portion of the second conductor connected body 60B passes. Fig. 16 is a schematic diagram showing the arrangement of the straight portion 50a of the second portion of the second conductor connected body 60B in the slot 29 through which the straight portion 50a of the second portion of the second conductor connected body 60B passes.

[0069] The second conductor coupled body 60B makes two turns in the first portion 61 on one circumferential side θ1, and makes the same number of turns as the first portion 61 (ie, two turns) in the second portion 62 on the other circumferential side θ2.

[0070] The first portion 61 and the second portion 62 of the second conductor connected body 60B each have an interlayer bent portion 50e at the boundary where the turns change. Between the input-side end portion 63 and the interlayer bent portion 50e, the second conductor connected body 60B alternates between the first layer 29a and the second layer 29b as it turns. The second conductor connected body 60B extends from the second layer 29b to the third layer 29c at the interlayer bent portion 50e of the first portion 61. Between the interlayer bent portion 50e and the second folded portion 50g, the second conductor connected body 60B alternates between the third layer 29c and the fourth layer 29d as it turns. In the first portion 61 of the second conductor connected body 60B, the straight portion 50a alternates between the first turn and the second turn.

[0071] As shown in FIG. 16 , the second conductor connection body 60B winds around between the second folded portion 50g and the interlayer bent portion 50e, with the circumferentially aligned straight portions 50a passing alternately through the third layer 29c and the fourth layer 29d. The second conductor connection body 60B extends from the third layer 29c to the second layer 29b at the interlayer bent portion 50e of the second portion 62. The second conductor connection body 60B winds around between the interlayer bent portion 50e and the neutral point-side end portion 64, with the circumferentially aligned straight portions 50a passing alternately through the first layer 29a and the second layer 29b. In the second portion 62 of the second conductor connection body 60B, the straight portions 50a pass through the same slots 29 on the first and second turns.

[0072] According to this embodiment, the conductor connecting body 60 has two turns in the first portion 61 and the second portion 62. Therefore, compared to when the conductor connecting body 60 has only one turn, the density of the magnetic flux generated in the stator 10 can be increased, and the motor 1 can achieve higher output.

[0073] The conductor connection body 60 may make two or more turns in the first portion 61 and the second portion 62. For example, assume that the conductor connection body 60 makes N turns (N is a natural number) in the first portion 61 and the second portion 62. M is an odd natural number (1, 3, 5, ...). In the Nth turn (e.g., the first turn), the conductor connection body 60 makes one turn by alternately passing the straight portions 50a arranged in the circumferential direction between the Mth layer (e.g., the first layer) and the (M+1)th layer (e.g., the second layer). The conductor connection body 60 has an interlayer bent portion 50e extending from the (M+1)th layer (e.g., the second layer) to the (M+2)th layer (e.g., the third layer) at the boundary between the Nth turn (e.g., the first turn) and the (N+1)th turn (e.g., the second turn). According to this embodiment, even when the conductor connecting body 60 has two or more turns, the phase coil section 30A can be simply configured.

[0074] 13 and 14 , in the first portion 61 and the second portion 62 of the first conductor connecting body 60A, the straight portions 50a are arranged in the circumferential direction at a rate equivalent to the number of slots per pole (six slots in this embodiment). That is, the first conductor connecting body 60A is wound around the stator core 20 using so-called full-pitch winding. In full-pitch winding, conductors 50 of the same phase are arranged in one slot 29, which makes it easier to ensure insulation between the U phase, V phase, and W phase, thereby stabilizing the performance of the motor 1.

[0075] In the first portion 61 of the conductor connection body 60, the straight portion 50a passes through the same slot 29 for the entire circumference. Similarly, in the second portion 62 of the conductor connection body 60, the straight portion 50a passes through the same slot 29 for the entire circumference. Therefore, the conductor connection body 60 has a configuration in which the conductors 50 are stacked in the radial direction in the first portion 61 and the second portion 62. This allows the density of magnetic flux generated by the current flowing through each conductor 50 to be increased depending on the number of turns of the conductor connection body 60.

[0076] As shown in FIG. 12 , the first portion 61 of the first conductor connection body 60A and the first portion 61 of the second conductor connection body 60B pass through different slots 29. Similarly, the second portion 62 of the first conductor connection body 60A and the second portion 62 of the second conductor connection body 60B pass through different slots 29. The slots 29 through which the linear portions 50a of the first portion 61 of the second conductor connection body 60B pass are shifted by one slot toward one circumferential side θ1 relative to the first portion 61 of the first conductor connection body 60A. On the other hand, the slots 29 through which the linear portions 50a of the second portion 62 of the second conductor connection body 60B pass are shifted by one slot toward the other circumferential side θ2 relative to the second portion 62 of the first conductor connection body 60A. That is, the first portions 61 of the multiple conductor connections 60 of the same phase are sequentially arranged in the slots 29 that are lined up one by one on one circumferential side θ1. Furthermore, the second portions 62 of the multiple conductor connections 60 of the same phase are sequentially arranged in the slots 29 that are aligned one by one on the other circumferential side θ2. The first portion 61 of the first conductor connection body 60A and the second portion 62 of the second conductor connection body 60B are arranged in the same slot. Only the conductor connections 60 of the same phase pass through one slot 29, making it easy to ensure insulation between the multiple phase coil portions 30A.

[0077] In the first conductor connection body 60A, two end portions 50c (input-side end portion 63 and neutral-point-side end portion 64) extend from slots 29 that are circumferentially spaced apart by the number of slots per pole plus one (seven slots). Of the two end portions 50c of the first conductor connection body 60A, the neutral-point-side end portion 64, which is located on one circumferential side θ1, extends one slot longer on one circumferential side θ1 than the input-side end portion 63, which is located on the other circumferential side θ2. Therefore, the two end portions 50c of the first conductor connection body 60A are arranged circumferentially spaced apart by the number of slots per pole (six slots).

[0078] In the second conductor connection body 60B, two end portions 50c (an input-side end portion 63 and a neutral-point-side end portion 64) extend from slots 29 spaced apart in the circumferential direction by the number of slots per pole minus one (five slots). Of the two end portions 50c of the second conductor connection body 60B, the input-side end portion 63 located on the other circumferential side θ2 extends one slot longer on one circumferential side θ1 than the neutral-point-side end portion 64 located on one circumferential side θ1. Therefore, the two end portions 50c of the second conductor connection body 60B are arranged spaced apart in the circumferential direction by the number of slots per pole (six slots).

[0079] In this way, the input-side terminal portions 63 of the conductor connection bodies 60 of the same phase and the neutral-point-side terminal portions 64 of the conductor connection bodies 60 of the same phase are arranged circumferentially at a distance equal to the number of pole slots. Therefore, the input-side terminal portions 63 and the neutral-point-side terminal portions 64 of the multiple conductor connection bodies 60 (first conductor connection bodies 60A and second conductor connection bodies 60B) can be arranged to overlap each other.

[0080] The input side terminal portions 63 of the conductor connection bodies 60 of the same phase (first conductor connection body 60A and second conductor connection body 60B) are arranged side by side in the radial direction and connected to each other. The input side terminal portions 63 of the conductor connection bodies 60 of the same phase are all connected to a phase bus bar (U-phase bus bar 9U, V-phase bus bar 9V, or W-phase bus bar 9W).

[0081] Similarly, the neutral point side terminals 64 of the conductor connections 60 of the same phase (the first conductor connection 60A and the second conductor connection 60B) are arranged side by side in the radial direction and connected to each other. Furthermore, the neutral point side terminals 64 of the conductor connections 60 of the same phase are both connected to the neutral point bus bar 8.

[0082] According to this embodiment, the input side terminal ends 63 of two or more conductor connecting bodies 60 in one phase coil section 30A are electrically connected to each other. Similarly, the neutral point side terminal ends 64 of two or more conductor connecting bodies 60 in one phase coil section 30A are electrically connected to each other. As a result, the multiple conductor connecting bodies 60 in one phase coil section 30A are connected in parallel to each other.

[0083] 5, the radial position of at least one of the neutral point busbar 8 and the phase busbars 9U, 9V, and 9W is located between the radial positions of the turn-back portions 50f and 50g and the radial positions of the input-side end portion 63 and the neutral point-side end portion 64. In other words, when viewed in the axial direction, at least one of the neutral point busbar 8 and the phase busbars 9U, 9V, and 9W is located between the inner edge and the outer edge of the coil ends of the stator coil 30. This prevents the neutral point busbar 8 and at least one of the phase busbars 9U, 9V, and 9W from protruding radially to both sides of the stator coil 30.

[0084] 17 is a schematic diagram showing a first folded portion 50f and a second folded portion 50g. As described above, the first conductor connection body 60A is folded back at the first folded portion 50f such that the wave winding direction is changed from one circumferential side θ1 to the other circumferential side θ2. Meanwhile, the second conductor connection body 60B is folded back at the second folded portion 50g such that the wave winding direction is changed from one circumferential side θ1 to the other circumferential side θ2.

[0085] The two slots 29 from which the first folded portion 50f extends are spaced apart by 7 slots (i.e., the number of slots per pole + 1), while the two slots 29 from which the second folded portion 50g extends are spaced apart by 5 slots (i.e., the number of slots per pole - 1).

[0086] The two slots 29 from which the first folded portion 50f extends are positioned circumferentially outward of the two slots 29 from which the second folded portion 50g extends. The first folded portion 50f passes above the second folded portion 50g. The first folded portion 50f is positioned so as to straddle the second folded portion 50g from above and on both circumferential sides. Four slots 29 are positioned between the two slots 29 from which the second folded portion 50g extends. The bent portions 50d of the other phases extend from these four slots 29.

[0087] The bent portion 50fa of the first folded portion 50f and the bent portion 50ga of the second folded portion 50g are arranged to overlap in the circumferential direction. One extending portion 50fb of the first folded portion 50f and one extending portion 50gb of the second folded portion 50g extend parallel to each other. Similarly, the other extending portion 50fc of the first folded portion 50f and the other extending portion 50gc of the second folded portion 50g extend parallel to each other. That is, the folded portions of the conductor connecting body 60 of the same phase (the first folded portion 50f and the second folded portion 50g) extend parallel to each other before and after the bent portions 50fa and 50ga. Therefore, the folded portions (first folded portion 50f and second folded portion 50g) of the conductor connecting bodies 60 of the same phase can be stacked compactly, and the stator coil 30 can be made smaller.

[0088] According to this embodiment, the extending portions 50fb, 50fc, 50gb, and 50gc of the first folded portion 50f and the second folded portion 50g extend parallel to the bent portions 50d of the other phases. This allows the first folded portion 50f and the second folded portion 50g to be stacked compactly together with the bent portions 50d of the other phases, thereby enabling the stator coil 30 to be made smaller.

[0089] The first folded portion 50f and the second folded portion 50g are arranged to overlap each other in the axial direction. The first folded portion 50f and the second folded portion 50g protrude upward (to one axial side) from the bent portion 50d of the other phase. Furthermore, the first folded portion 50f and the second folded portion 50g overlap the upper side (one axial side) of the bent portion 50d of the other phase at the bent portions 50fa and 50ga, respectively. The folded portions (the first folded portion 50f and the second folded portion 50g) of the conductor connecting body 60 of the same phase are arranged to overlap each other in the axial direction, protrude toward one axial side from the bent portion 50d of the other phase, and overlap one axial side of the bent portion 50d of the other phase. Therefore, the folded portions (the first folded portion 50f and the second folded portion 50g) can be prevented from protruding radially inward or outward relative to the bent portions 50d of the other phases. According to this embodiment, the radial dimension of the stator coil 30 can be reduced.

[0090] FIG. 18 is a schematic diagram showing layers within a slot 29 through which a conductor connection body 60 (a first conductor connection body 60A and a second conductor connection body 60B) of one phase coil section 30A passes.

[0091] 18, the slots are numbered starting from the slot 29 from which the input-side terminal portion 63 of the second conductor connection body 60B extends as the first slot, and continuing toward the other circumferential side θ2 up to the 48th slot. In this case, the neutral point-side terminal portion 64 of the second conductor connection body 60B extends from the 44th slot. For the first conductor connection body 60A, the input-side terminal portion 63 extends from the second slot, and the neutral point-side terminal portion 64 extends from the 43rd slot.

[0092] As shown in FIG. 18 , in this embodiment, multiple conductor connecting bodies 60 of the same phase are arranged in the same slot 29, making it easier to ensure insulation. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the conductor connecting body 60 has folded portions 50f and 50g, allowing the two end portions 50c to be arranged closer to one radial side. That is, in this embodiment, the input-side end portion 63 and the neutral-point-side end portion 64 of all phase coil portions 30A extend from the outermost layer (first layer 29a). Therefore, the process of connecting the busbars 9U, 9V, 9W, and 8 to the input-side end portion 63 and the neutral-point-side end portion 64 can all be performed from the radially outer side. As a result, the manufacturing process of the stator 10 and the motor 1 can be simplified.

[0093] The phase coil sections 30A of the other phases are configured to be shifted by four slots relative to the phase coil section 30A shown in FIG. 18. For example, assume that the phase coil section 30A shown in FIG. 18 is the U-phase coil section 30U. For the V-phase coil section 30V, two input-side terminal portions 63 extend from the fifth and sixth slots 29, and two neutral-point-side terminal portions 64 extend from the forty-seventh and forty-eighth slots. Furthermore, for the W-phase coil section 30W, two input-side terminal portions 63 extend from the ninth and tenth slots 29, and two neutral-point-side terminal portions 64 extend from the third and fourth slots.

[0094] Although various embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the configurations and combinations thereof in each embodiment are merely examples, and additions, omissions, substitutions, and other modifications of the configurations are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention. Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments. [Explanation of symbols]
