Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a felt-based all-around treatment material having an adhesive layer and a method for producing the treatment material. More specifically, the present invention relates to a treatment material having a flame-retardant felt-like material as a base material, which is used to fill gaps between peripheral joints (top, bottom, left, and right edges) in order to ensure fire resistance and sound insulation when constructing dry fireproof and / or soundproof walls, etc. The present invention relates to a technology for providing a felt-based all-around treatment material of high practical value that improves the convenience of the operation of peeling off the release paper to expose the adhesive layer during the embedding operation, reduces the occurrence of damage to the felt-based all-around treatment material that may occur during the operation, and allows the treatment material to be used with good yield. [Background technology]
[0002] Currently, widely used felt-based peripheral treatment materials on the market include flame-retardant and fire-resistant felt-like materials, such as rock wool long rectangular pillars, which serve as a substrate (core material), have an adhesive layer formed on the entire surface of one side of the substrate, and a release paper attached to the surface of the adhesive layer. The felt-based peripheral treatment material with the adhesive layer can be quickly fixed to surfaces such as reinforced concrete or H-shaped steel beams that form gaps, facilitating the peripheral treatment process and allowing the peripheral treatment material to be stably held in the desired position after application. The release paper attached to this adhesive layer is intended to protect the adhesive surface of the adhesive layer before application so that its functionality is not impaired; therefore, before application, the release paper and adhesive surface are tightly integrated. When performing the all-around treatment, the release paper is peeled off to expose the adhesive layer, and the surface of the felt-based all-around treatment material with the adhesive layer is attached and fixed to the desired position on the application surface, such as reinforced concrete or H-beam, and the gaps are filled with the felt-based all-around treatment material.
[0003] Here, felt-based four-sided treated materials widely available on the market generally have the following configuration: The felt-based four-sided treated material has an adhesive layer provided over the entire surface of one side of a substrate, with a release paper affixed to the entire surface of the adhesive layer. The substrate surface on which the adhesive layer is provided, the adhesive layer, and the release paper are all the same size and are tightly integrated by the adhesive layer. A felt-based four-sided treated material with an adhesive layer having the above configuration is manufactured as follows: First, a wide, plate-shaped manufacturing substrate made of rock wool is used, and an adhesive layer is formed over the entire surface of one wide flat surface of the plate-shaped manufacturing substrate, with a release paper affixed to the outermost surface of the adhesive layer to obtain a manufacturing laminate. In this process, one adhesive side of a so-called double-sided tape is affixed to the manufacturing substrate, thereby forming an adhesive layer over the entire flat surface of the wide manufacturing substrate, and simultaneously obtaining a laminate having a structure in which a release paper is affixed to the outermost surface. The laminate for manufacturing is then cut parallel to each of the long sides to widths of approximately 5 mm to 10 cm, yielding multiple long, rectangular pillar-shaped felt-based four-sided treated materials of the desired width.
[0004] Among the long felt-based four-sided treatment materials manufactured as described above, which have an adhesive layer formed over the entire flat surface and a release paper of the same size laminated on the adhesive surface, there is a product that has a short piece of paper (insertion paper) sandwiched between the adhesive layer surface and the release paper at one short end to make the release paper easier to peel off. With this product, when peeling off the release paper that is tightly integrated with the adhesive surface of the base material (core material) during the four-sided treatment work, the interleaf paper can be used to easily peel it off. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] The inventors have found that the above-described conventional felt-based peripheral treatment material has the following problems when used for peripheral treatment. As described above, when performing peripheral treatment, it is necessary to first attach the peripheral treatment material to the application surface using the adhesive layer provided on the substrate (core material). At this time, it is necessary to peel off the release paper attached to the outermost surface of the adhesive layer in order to expose the adhesive layer. The peripheral treatment, which fills gaps with surrounding joints, can only be carried out smoothly if the series of operations of attaching the exposed adhesive layer surface to the desired position on reinforced concrete, H-beams, etc. after peeling off the release paper is smoothly carried out. Furthermore, the adhesive layer is required not only to temporarily fix the felt-based peripheral treatment material to improve workability, which is necessary for positioning during application, but also to permanently fix the felt-based peripheral treatment material to the desired position on reinforced concrete, H-beams, etc. after application. Therefore, in a felt-based four-sided treated material product, the adhesive layer is firmly bonded to the surface of the substrate (core material).
[0006] In contrast, the flame-retardant felt-like material constituting the substrate (core material) of the four-periphery treatment material is a laminate formed by, for example, stacking felt-like rock wool in the thickness direction, and therefore has the characteristic of easily peeling off in layers. The inventors discovered the following problem when peeling off the release paper using a conventional felt-based four-periphery treatment material made of rock wool. As mentioned above, the release paper and the adhesive surface of the adhesive layer are tightly integrated, so the worker cannot quickly peel off the release paper from the adhesive layer surface, resulting in a problem of impaired workability. In addition to this problem, even when the worker carefully peels off the release paper from the adhesive layer surface, due to the characteristics of the felt-like material described above, the adhesive layer side of the laminated rock wool may peel off in layers together with the release paper and adhesive layer, damaging the four-periphery treatment material.
[0007] When the layers peel off, the softness of the felt-like material makes it impossible to separate the adhesive layer from the release paper, making it impossible to use as a circumferentially treated material. This means that the circumferentially treated material cannot be used effectively, resulting in waste of building materials. Furthermore, to prevent this from happening, workers need to be more careful and meticulous in peeling off the release paper attached to the adhesive layer, which has been found to be a cause of reduced work efficiency.
[0008] That is, according to the inventors' investigations, felt-based four-way treated materials have the following important technical problems that cause reduced work efficiency during construction and, in some cases, result in wasted building materials. First, as described above, conventional felt-based four-way treated materials have the following problems: the release paper attached to the adhesive layer is the same size as the adhesive layer, and the release paper for protecting the adhesive surface is tightly integrated with the adhesive layer. Furthermore, the felt-like base material is soft and easily peeled. This makes it difficult for workers to quickly and satisfactorily peel the release paper from the adhesive layer at the end of the four-way treated material. Another problem is that if the base material made of a soft, easily peeling felt-like material peels off together with the release paper and adhesive layer, the product will be defective. In contrast, as mentioned above, some conventional felt-based four-way treated materials have an interleaf paper provided between the adhesive surface and the release paper at one short end. Using such a product makes peeling the release paper much easier than products without an interleaf paper.
[0009] However, in the case of this product, a new process of providing interleaf paper is required in the manufacturing process of the felt-based four-circumferential treatment material, which results in a problem of increased manufacturing costs. Furthermore, the interleaf paper is discarded together with the release paper after the four-circumferential treatment, and providing the interleaf paper also poses the problem of increased waste after installation. Furthermore, even if the interleaf paper is provided as in conventional products, as described below, the application forms of felt-based four-circumferential treatment materials are diverse, and as a result, providing the interleaf paper at the end of the treatment material may not resolve the difficulty of peeling the release paper from the surface of the adhesive layer during the four-circumferential treatment work.
[0010] According to the inventors' research, felt-based peripheral treatment materials currently available on the market are basically long, rectangular pillar-shaped (plate-shaped) products with various widths, which can be appropriately selected to fit the gap to be treated. However, their lengths are fixed, for example, at approximately 1 to 2 meters, taking into consideration production efficiency, storage, transportability, and versatility. In contrast, the shapes of gaps that need to be filled with felt-based peripheral treatment materials to improve fire resistance and sound insulation vary. In order to fill these various gaps in an optimal state, in addition to selecting a product with an optimal width, it is necessary to cut a standardized felt-based peripheral treatment material to an optimal length and adjust its length accordingly. In some cases, it may be necessary to adjust the size to obtain a peripheral treatment material with an optimal width. For this reason, workers at the peripheral treatment site cut the felt-based peripheral treatment material to a shape appropriate for filling the gap to be treated. In particular, because the length of the felt-based peripheral treatment material is standardized, cutting the material to the optimal length is frequently used. When cut, even in a product with a structure in which slip paper is provided on the short sides as mentioned above, most of the felt-based four-sided treatment material that is to be embedded in the gaps in actual use will end up without any slip paper provided, which means that the effect of easily peeling off the release paper, which is obtained by providing slip paper, will no longer be obtained.
[0011] Furthermore, according to the inventors' investigations, the edges of the cut felt-based four-sided treated material are pushed off during cutting, resulting in the following: First, (a) the release paper and the adhesive layer become more tightly integrated, making them less likely to peel than before cutting. Also, (b) if the felt-like substrate is a laminate of rock wool stacked in the thickness direction, it is thought to be susceptible to interlayer damage, making it even more difficult to quickly peel the release paper from the adhesive layer than before cutting. Furthermore, (c) because the rock wool material used in the substrate (core material) has the property of easily peeling in layers, it becomes more difficult to peel it off in good condition.
[0012] Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a felt-based four-way treatment material that allows an operator to quickly and in good condition peel off the release paper from the adhesive layer in any of the above cases. The object of the present invention is to provide a technology that enables an operator to improve the workability of four-way treatment by providing the above-mentioned excellent quality felt-based four-way treatment material, and at the same time, enables an economical four-way treatment that can suppress the occurrence of wasted building materials and the increase in waste that occurred in conventional four-way treatment. [Means for solving the problem]
[0013] The above object can be achieved by the present invention, which provides a felt-based four-side treatment material having the following configuration as a "first invention." [1] A felt-based four-sided treated material having an adhesive layer with a release paper, comprising a prismatic substrate made of a flame-retardant felt-like material, an adhesive layer having a continuous adhesive region provided in the longitudinal direction on one of the flat surfaces of the substrate, and a release paper attached to the adhesive layer, wherein the substrate is a long, prismatic laminate having a thickness of 3 mm to 50 mm and a width of 5 mm to 10 cm, formed by laminating felt-like rock wool in the thickness direction, and the adhesive layer has a configuration in which the continuous adhesive region having an adhesive is provided on the flat surface of the substrate with a width narrower than the width of the shorter side of the substrate, and a non-adhesive region where no adhesive is present is provided along the entire length of at least one edge in the longitudinal direction, and the release paper is the same size as the surface of the substrate.
[0014] The above object can be achieved by the present invention described below. That is, the present invention provides, as a "second invention," a felt-based four-side treatment material having the following configuration. [2] A felt-based four-sided treated material having an adhesive layer with release paper, comprising: a prismatic base material made of a flame-retardant felt-like material; an adhesive layer having adhesive regions provided continuously or intermittently in the longitudinal direction on one of the flat surfaces of the base material; and a release paper attached to the adhesive layer, wherein the base material is a long, prismatic laminate having a thickness of 3 mm to 50 mm and a width of 5 mm to 10 cm, formed by laminating felt-like rock wool in the thickness direction; the adhesive layer has alternating adhesive regions containing adhesive and non-adhesive regions where no adhesive is present, along at least one edge in the longitudinal direction on the flat surface of the base on which the adhesive layer is provided; and a non-adhesive region where no adhesive is present, including at least one end of the edge, on at least one edge in the shorter direction of the base material; and the release paper is the same size as the surface of the base material.
[0015] The preferred forms of the felt-based four-side treatment material are as follows. [3] The adhesive layer has a structure in which an adhesive layer is formed on both sides of a film support, and at least the adhesive layer on the side to which the release paper is attached has a non-adhesive area where no adhesive is present along at least one edge in the longitudinal direction of the base material, or has a structure in which adhesive areas with adhesive and non-adhesive areas where no adhesive is present alternately. A felt-based four-periphery treated material according to [1] or [2] above. [4] The felt-based peripheral treatment material according to [1] or [2] above, wherein the total area of the adhesive layer is 25% to 99% of the total area of the flat surface of the base material on which the adhesive layer is provided, assuming that the total area of the adhesive region is 100%.
[0016] According to the inventors' investigations, the above object can also be achieved by the following invention, which achieves some of the effects obtained by the present invention. A felt-based four-sided treated material comprising a prismatic substrate made of a flame-retardant felt-like material, an adhesive layer provided on one surface of the substrate, and a release paper attached to the adhesive layer, wherein the substrate is a laminate having a thickness of 3 mm to 50 mm and a width of 5 mm to 10 cm, and has a long prismatic shape, formed by laminating felt-like rock wool in the thickness direction, the adhesive layer being provided over the entire surface of the substrate on which the adhesive layer is provided, and the release paper attached to the adhesive layer has a width that is 0.1 mm or more greater than the width of the substrate surface on which the adhesive layer is provided.
[0017] However, if the width of the release paper is larger than the width of the base surface in this way, the release paper used to form the excess portion complicates the manufacturing process of the four-periphery treated material, resulting in lower production efficiency, and also increases the amount of release paper that is discarded after use, so this is not a very desirable method.
[0018] As another embodiment, the present invention provides the following method for producing a felt-based four-periphery treated material. [5] A method for producing the felt-based four-circumferentially treated material according to any one of [1] to [4] above, comprising: a laminating step of laminating a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-forming member for production onto a flat surface of a rock wool production base material, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer being a laminate having a thickness of 3 mm to 50 mm, the laminate being formed by laminating felt-like rock wool in the thickness direction, and the flat surface shape being a square or rectangle with two sides each having a length of 50 cm or more, to obtain a laminate; and a cutting step of cutting the laminate obtained in the laminating step in the longitudinal direction to obtain a long, rectangular columnar felt-based four-circumferentially treated material having a width adjusted to 5 mm to 10 cm, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-forming member being a member for production. a cutting step for forming a layer of adhesive having the same planar shape as the surface of the manufacturing substrate on which the adhesive layer is to be provided, and having a configuration in which, after cutting in the cutting step, the shape of the adhesive layer with release paper is such that (A) a non-adhesive region where no adhesive is present is formed along at least one edge in the longitudinal direction of the rock wool substrate, or (B) a configuration in which adhesive regions with adhesive and non-adhesive regions where no adhesive are present are formed alternately, and a non-adhesive region where no adhesive is present is formed in at least one edge portion in the lateral direction of the manufacturing substrate, including at least one end of the edge. [Effects of the Invention]
[0019] According to the present invention, a felt-based four-way treatment material is provided that allows the release paper to be quickly and satisfactorily peeled from the adhesive layer, even when the worker performing the four-way treatment cuts the felt-based four-way treatment material having an adhesive layer with a release paper to an appropriate size to fit the installation location. Furthermore, according to the present invention, by providing the above-mentioned excellent quality felt-based four-way treatment material, it is possible to improve the workability of the four-way treatment performed by the worker. Furthermore, according to the present invention, in addition to improving workability, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of wasting building materials due to damage to the base material (core material) that occurred in conventional four-way treatment, and to suppress the problems of increased manufacturing processes and increased waste caused by the use of interleaf paper. As a result, according to the present invention, an excellent technology is provided that enables four-way treatment that is excellent in workability, environmental protection, and economy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0021] The present invention will now be described in more detail with reference to preferred embodiments. The inventors conducted extensive research into adhesive layers with release paper formed on either flat surface (either the upper or lower end surface of the laminate) of a substrate consisting of a prismatic (plate-like) laminate formed by laminating felt-like rock wool in the thickness direction, and as a result, they discovered a configuration that effectively solves the technical problems of the present invention, leading to the present invention. According to the present invention, when an operator removes the release paper to expose the adhesive layer, the release paper can be removed smoothly and without difficulty without causing damage to the felt-based four-way treatment material having a substrate consisting of a laminate with a peelable structure laminated in the thickness direction. As a result, the operator can smoothly begin the four-way treatment work, and, after the work is completed (after construction), the felt-based four-way treatment material can be fixed in the desired position on reinforced concrete, H-beams, etc. in a sustained and good condition.
[0022] The felt-based four-way treated material of the present invention is characterized by having a prismatic (plate-like) substrate made of a flame-retardant felt-like laminate material such as rock wool, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a release paper on one of the flat surfaces of the substrate, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having a unique shape in which at least a non-adhesive region is provided in addition to an adhesive region. First, each component constituting the felt-based four-way treated material of the present invention will be described.
[0023] (base material) The substrate (core material) constituting the felt-based peripherally treated material of the present invention is a laminate of flame-retardant inorganic felt-like rock wool laminated in the thickness direction, measuring 3 mm to 50 mm in thickness and 5 mm to 10 cm in width, and has a long rectangular columnar (plate) shape. Rock wool, also known as rock wool, is an artificial mineral fiber produced by mixing lime and other materials with natural rock basalt or blast furnace slag from iron production, melting them at high temperatures, and processing them into fibers. Its main components are silicon dioxide (silica) and calcium oxide, and its single fiber diameter is approximately 3 to 10 μm. It is widely used as a heat insulating material and sound absorbing material in buildings. It also has excellent fire resistance, so it is used as an asbestos substitute.
[0024] As described above, the felt-based all-around treated material of the present invention is used to fill gaps between peripheral joints (top, bottom, left, and right edges) for the purpose of ensuring fire resistance and / or sound insulation. Therefore, felt-based all-around treated material products are required to have shapes that can individually fit the wide variety of gaps that are formed. To meet this demand, an endless variety of products is required. On the other hand, from an industrial perspective, it is undesirable to have too many different types of products. Therefore, as versatile felt-based all-around treated materials that are likely to fit gaps of a wide variety of shapes, for example, multiple types of products with different thicknesses and widths are provided, with thicknesses and widths determined in stages. Specifically, products with different thicknesses and widths are designed, with thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 50 mm and widths ranging from 5 mm to 10 cm.
[0025] (Adhesive layer) The felt-based four-way treatment material of the present invention is characterized in that it has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a release paper formed on one of the planes of the substrate (core material) made of the above-mentioned laminate, which has a unique shape in which at least a non-adhesive region is provided in addition to an adhesive region. As described below, the remarkable effects of the present invention are achieved by making the shape of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a release paper, which is used during four-way treatment and on which the release paper is laminated to protect the adhesive surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, unique.
[0026] FIG. 1 is a perspective view schematically illustrating a felt-based four-way treated material according to a first aspect of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, in the felt-based four-way treated material 10A according to the first aspect of the present invention, a unique adhesive layer 2 is provided on a substrate 1 in the longitudinal direction of the plane thereof. The adhesive layer 2 has a continuous adhesive region 3, which is narrower than the substrate 1, and a non-adhesive region 4, where no adhesive is present, is provided along at least one edge in the longitudinal direction. Specifically, for example, the continuous adhesive region 3 may be provided over 25% to 99% of the width of the substrate 1. A release paper 5 (not shown in FIG. 1; see FIG. 7(A)) attached to the adhesive layer 2 has the same size as the plane of the substrate 1 on which the adhesive layer 2 is provided, as in conventional products. By configuring in this way, the adhesive layer 2 of the felt-based four-side treated material 10A of the first invention has an adhesive region 3 that is continuously provided in the longitudinal direction, and a non-adhesive region 4 where no adhesive is present along the entirety of at least one edge in the longitudinal direction of the substrate 1 is provided, for example, in a linear shape (see FIG. 1). Of course, the shape is not limited to a linear shape, and any shape can be used as long as the non-adhesive region 4 is formed along the entirety of at least one edge in the longitudinal direction of the substrate 1, and by configuring in this way, the effects of the present invention can be obtained.
[0027] The inventors were surprised to find that in the above configuration, even when the non-adhesive region 4, which is free of adhesive and arranged along the entire longitudinal edge, accounts for only 1% of the width of the short side of the substrate 1 (i.e., when the adhesive region 3 is 99%), the peel strength required to peel the release paper 5 from the adhesive layer 2 can be significantly reduced, making peeling smoother, compared to a conventional configuration in which an adhesive layer is formed over the entire surface of the substrate.
[0028] Specifically, according to the inventors' investigations, when comparing a conventional four-periphery treatment material in which an adhesive layer is provided over the entire surface of one flat surface of the substrate and a release paper is provided overlapping and flush with the surface of this adhesive layer, with the present invention in which the size of the release paper 5 is the same as above and the adhesive layer 2 is configured with a non-adhesive region 4 where no adhesive is present along the entire longitudinal edge of the substrate 1, and this non-adhesive region 4 is provided with a width as small as about 1% of the width of the short side of the substrate 1, the inventors surprisingly found that the peel strength (N / mm) can be reduced to one-fifth. Therefore, by simply using the simple means of configuring the adhesive layer 2 with release paper as described above, workers can smoothly peel the release paper 5 from the adhesive layer 2 during four-periphery treatment work.
[0029] As shown in Figure 1, the felt-based four-way treated material 10A of the first invention has non-adhesive areas 4 where no adhesive is present along the entire longitudinal edge of the base material 1. Therefore, even if the material is cut to shorten the length to fit the application location during four-way treatment, the non-adhesive areas 4 will always be present at the end, so the release paper 5 can be smoothly peeled off even in this case.
[0030] Furthermore, even when the non-adhesive region 4 is increased, for example, to 75% of the width of the short side of the substrate 1, i.e., when the adhesive region 3 containing the adhesive is significantly reduced to 25% of the width of the substrate 1, it has been confirmed that the felt-based peripheral treatment material 10A can be firmly fixed after application without the adhesive surface of the adhesive layer 2 lifting and creating a gap between the material and the application surface, such as reinforced concrete or H-beams. The reason for this is believed to be that the first invention requires the adhesive layer 2 to have a continuous adhesive region 3 extending in the longitudinal direction of the substrate 1, thereby achieving the above-mentioned effect even when the adhesive region 3 is small. Here, narrowing the adhesive region 3 containing the adhesive formed on one flat surface of the substrate 1 means that the amount of adhesive used can be reduced, which has the advantage of reducing the cost of the adhesive material.
[0031] According to the study by the present inventors, it is preferable to configure the felt-based four-way treated material 10A so that, for example, about 50% to 80% of the width of the short side thereof is the adhesive region 3 where the adhesive is present. In this way, after application, the felt-based four-way treated material 10A can be more firmly fixed by the adhesive layer 2 without creating gaps on the application surface, and the release paper 5 can be smoothly peeled off from the adhesive layer 2.
[0032] As described above, in the felt-based peripherally treated material 10A of the first invention, the total area of the adhesive regions 2 containing the adhesive is preferably in the range of 25% to 99% when the area of the plane of the substrate 1 on which the adhesive layer 2 is provided is taken as 100%. More preferably, the adhesive regions 2 containing the adhesive are formed in the range of about 50% to 80%.
[0033] Next, the felt-based four-sided treated material of the second invention will be described. The felt-based four-sided treated material of the second invention requires that a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a release paper is provided on one of the flat surfaces of a substrate, with adhesive regions provided continuously or intermittently in the longitudinal direction. Specifically, the flat surface of the substrate on which the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is provided has adhesive regions with adhesive and non-adhesive regions without adhesive alternately formed along at least one edge in the longitudinal direction, and at least one edge portion in the lateral direction of the substrate has a non-adhesive region without adhesive, including at least one end of the edge. In the case of the second invention, the release paper attached to the adhesive layer is the same size as the flat surface of the substrate on which the adhesive layer is provided, as in conventional products.
[0034] 2(A) to 2(C) show preferred examples of the adhesive region 3 and non-adhesive region 4 of the adhesive layer 2 of the felt-based peripheral treatment material 10B of the second invention, with the laminated release paper removed. As shown in FIGS. 2(A) to 2(C), in each of these examples, adhesive layer 2 is formed by alternating adhesive regions 3 containing adhesive and non-adhesive regions 4 not containing adhesive along at least one longitudinal edge of substrate 1. In the examples of FIGS. 2(B) and 2(C), adhesive regions 3 and non-adhesive regions 4 are alternately formed along both longitudinal edges of substrate 1. In addition to the above, in the examples of FIGS. 2(A) and 2(B), a continuous adhesive region 3 is provided in the longitudinal direction of substrate 1, as in the first invention. Furthermore, as illustrated in Figures 2(A) to (C), the felt-based four-sided treated material 10B of the second invention requires that a non-adhesive region 4 in which no adhesive is present be provided on at least one edge portion in the short direction of the substrate 1, including at least one end portion of the edge.
[0035] 2(A) to 2(C), in the felt-based four-way treated material 10B of the second invention, a non-adhesive region 4 where no adhesive is present is always formed along at least one longitudinal edge of the substrate 1. Therefore, as in the case of the four-way treated material 10A of the first invention, even when the length of the material is shortened by cutting it to fit the application location during four-way treatment, the non-adhesive region 4 is always provided at the end of at least one longitudinal edge, so that even in the case of a shortened material, the worker can smoothly peel off the release paper 5 (see FIG. 7(A)) attached to the adhesive layer 2.
[0036] 2(A) and 2(B), the adhesive layer 2 constituting the second invention has an adhesive region 3 in which the adhesive layer 2 is continuously provided in the longitudinal direction of the substrate 1, similar to the case of the four-way treated material 10A of the first invention. Therefore, similar to the case of the four-way treated material 10A of the first invention, after application, the felt-based four-way treated material 10B is firmly fixed to the application surface of the reinforced concrete, H-beam, etc., without the adhesive surface of the adhesive forming the adhesive region 3 floating and creating a gap between the felt-based four-way treated material 10B and the application surface.
[0037] In the felt-based peripherally treated material 10B of the second invention, the adhesive layer 2 formed on the flat surface of the substrate 1 is also preferably configured so that the total area of the adhesive regions 3 containing the adhesive is in the range of 25% to 99% when the area of the flat surface of the substrate 1 on which the adhesive layer 2 is formed is taken as 100. More preferably, the adhesive regions 3 containing the adhesive are formed in the range of about 50% to 80%.
[0038] As described above, the difference between the felt-based four-way treated material of the first invention and the felt-based four-way treated material of the second invention lies in the configuration of the non-adhesive region 4, where no adhesive is present, in the adhesive layer 2 formed on the flat surface of the substrate 1. The second invention is characterized by a configuration in which adhesive regions 3 containing adhesive and non-adhesive regions 4, where no adhesive is present, are alternately formed along at least one longitudinal edge of the substrate 1. In the felt-based four-way treated material 10B of the second invention, considering the convenience when peeling off the release paper 5 (see FIG. 7(A)) from the lateral edge of the substrate 1, it is necessary to provide a non-adhesive region 4, where no adhesive is present, along a portion of at least one lateral edge of the substrate 1, including at least one end. Note that the adhesive layer 2 in the felt-based four-way treated material 10A of the first invention satisfies this requirement, so there is no need to specify it again.
[0039] (Release paper) The felt-based four-sided treated material of the present invention further comprises a release paper 5 laminated to the adhesive layer 2 having the adhesive region 3 and the non-adhesive region 4 as described above. In both of the felt-based four-sided treated materials 10A and 10B of the first and second inventions described above, the release paper 5 is the same size as the flat surface of the substrate 1 on which the adhesive layer 2 is provided. The shape and material of the release paper 5 are no different from those conventionally used. That is, for example, a paper surface coated with a release agent such as a silicone resin can be used as appropriate. Specific examples of the release paper used in the present invention include known materials such as those used in so-called double-sided tape products, and can be used as appropriate.
[0040] In the present invention, the significant effects of the present invention are achieved by configuring the adhesive layer 2 having the adhesive region 3 formed by the adhesive on the flat surface of the substrate 1 to have the non-adhesive region 4 as described above. According to the inventors' research, the present invention is not limited to this configuration, and some of the effects of the present invention can also be achieved by configuring it as described below. Specifically, when an adhesive region having an adhesive is provided on the entire flat surface of the substrate on which the adhesive layer is provided, smooth peeling of the release paper attached to the adhesive region can be achieved by making the size of the release paper larger than the width of the flat surface of the substrate. That is, by making the size of the release paper slightly larger than the width of the adhesive layer in a configuration in which an adhesive region is provided on the entire flat surface of the substrate, as described above, the peel strength when peeling the release paper attached to the adhesive layer provided on the substrate from the adhesive layer can be reduced. According to the inventors' research, for example, when the width of the adhesive layer is 100 and the width of the release paper is increased to 101, the peel strength can be reduced to about one-fourth.
[0041] However, when the above-mentioned configuration is adopted, it is not possible to efficiently manufacture a plurality of felt-based four-circumferentially treated materials by the simple method described below. Specifically, even if an attempt is made to obtain a felt-based four-circumferentially treated material product of the above configuration by producing a wide felt-based four-circumferentially treated material (a laminate for manufacturing) and then cutting it into strips in a cutting process to obtain a plurality of long rectangular columnar (plate-shaped) products with a width of 5 mm to 10 cm, it is not possible to obtain many products, and there is a problem that manufacturing efficiency is poor.
[0042] A method for producing a felt-based four-peripheral treated material of the present invention will be described below with reference to Figures 3(A) to 3(E). The felt-based four-peripheral treated material exemplified in Figures 3(A) to 3(E) is used to produce a felt-based four-peripheral treated material 10B having an adhesive layer 2 with a release paper 5 as defined in the second aspect of the present invention. Figure 3(A) is a schematic diagram of an example of an adhesive layer-forming member 20 used in production. In the illustrated example, an adhesive layer-forming member 20 was used in which an adhesive layer 22 having a lattice-shaped adhesive pattern with adhesive regions 33 and non-adhesive regions 44 was formed on the surface of a release paper 55, as shown in Figure 3(A). Note that the release paper 55 is the same size as the adhesive layer 22, and the two are laminated and integrated, but for the sake of explanation, they are shown in the figure as 55.
[0043] Next, as shown in FIG. 3(B), in the lamination step, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-forming member 20 is attached to the flat surface of the manufacturing substrate 11. The manufacturing substrate 11 is a 3-50 mm thick laminate formed by laminating felt-like rock wool in the thickness direction, and has a planar shape of a square or rectangle with two sides each independently measuring 50 cm or more. By attaching and laminating a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-forming member 20 of the same planar size to one flat surface of the wide manufacturing substrate 11, a manufacturing laminate 30 having the configuration shown in FIG. 3(C) is obtained, from which multiple felt-based four-peripheral treated materials 10A or 10B of the present invention can be produced. The laminate 30 is formed by laminating the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-forming member 20 on the manufacturing substrate 11. The laminate 30 has a structure in which a manufacturing pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 22, which enables the formation of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 characterizing the present invention, and a manufacturing release paper 55 attached to the adhesive region 33 of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 22 are laminated in this order.
[0044] Next, the laminate 30 for production obtained above is cut in a cutting step to easily obtain a plurality of long rectangular pillar-shaped (plate-shaped) felt-based four-peripheral treated material products of the present invention, each having a width adjusted to 5 mm to 10 cm. Specifically, for example, if the laminate 30 is a laminate of adhesive layer-forming members 20 having adhesive regions 33 in the pattern shown in FIG. 4(A), cutting at the desired positions as shown by the dashed lines in FIG. 3(C) can easily obtain the felt-based four-peripheral treated material product 10B having the adhesive layer 2 of the second invention configuration as shown in FIGS. 3(D) and (E). Furthermore, for example, if the laminate 30 is a laminate of adhesive layer-forming members 20 having adhesive regions 33 in the pattern shown in FIG. 4(B), cutting at the desired positions as shown by the dashed lines in FIG. 3(C) can easily obtain the felt-based four-peripheral treated material product 10A having the adhesive layer 2 of the first invention configuration as shown in FIG. 1. In either of the obtained felt-based four-sided treated material products 10A or 10B, the worker can easily peel off the release paper 5 that is laminated and integrated with the adhesive layer 2 during application.
[0045] The adhesive layer-forming member 20 used to obtain the laminate 30 for manufacturing is preferably manufactured using a so-called double-sided tape, as described below. For example, the adhesive layer-forming member 20 can be easily manufactured by using a double-sided tape having the following configuration. Double-sided tapes include those with a substrate structure in which an adhesive is laminated on both sides of a support (substrate), and those without a substrate, which are so-called substrate-less tapes that only have an adhesive without a support. Examples of the substrate (substrate) include nonwoven fabrics, resin films such as PET, cloth, and Japanese paper. In the present invention, both those with a support (substrate) and those without a substrate can be used. What is important in the present invention is that when the laminate 30 is cut to a specific width in the cutting process to produce the felt-based four-peripheral treated material of the present invention, the adhesive layer 22 constituting the adhesive layer-forming member 20 for manufacturing is formed so that the adhesive layer 2 of the resulting product has the specific shape specified in the present invention as described above. By doing this, as mentioned above, the felt-based four-sided treated material of the present invention, which is produced by cutting the laminate 30 formed by stacking the adhesive layer-forming members 20 having the above-mentioned configuration, can easily peel off the release paper 5 that is attached to and integrated with the adhesive layer 2 (see Figures 1, 3(D) and 3(E)).
[0046] That is, according to the manufacturing method of the felt-based four-sided treated material of the present invention, a product can be efficiently manufactured by the following series of steps, in which a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 of a specific configuration is laminated on one side of a substrate 3 mm to 50 mm in thickness and 5 mm to 10 cm in width, which is made by laminating felt-like rock wool in the thickness direction, and a release paper 5 of the same size as the substrate 1 is attached to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 to integrate them.
[0047] First, a manufacturing adhesive layer-forming member 20 having a planar surface the same size as a manufacturing substrate 11 (described later), for example, as shown in FIG. 3(A), is prepared. In the lamination step for attaching the adhesive layer 22 and release paper 55 that constitute this adhesive layer-forming member 20 to the manufacturing substrate 11, it is preferable to use a double-sided tape having the following configuration, for example. Specifically, it is necessary to use a wide double-sided tape having a structure in which manufacturing adhesive layers are formed on both sides of a film support (not shown), and the adhesive region 33 of at least one of the adhesive layers 22 is patterned so as to form the non-adhesive region 33 defined in the present invention, and the manufacturing release paper 55 is laminated on this adhesive layer 22. In this case, the configuration of the adhesive layer on the side where the adhesive layer-forming member 20 is attached to the manufacturing substrate 11 is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, a layer consisting of an adhesive region having an adhesive over the entire surface. Of course, a double-sided tape having a film support on both sides of which adhesive layers 22 having adhesive regions 33 in the pattern specified in the present invention can also be suitably used.
[0048] Next, as shown in FIG. 3(B), in the lamination step, the surface of the adhesive layer 22 constituting the adhesive layer-forming member 20, on the side not covered with the release paper 55, is bonded to one flat surface of the manufacturing substrate 11 to obtain a laminate 30. As a result, a laminate 30 can be easily obtained in which the adhesive layer 22 and the release paper 55 for manufacturing are laminated on the flat surface of the rock wool manufacturing substrate 11, with the same size as the flat surface. The substrate 11 used is a laminate having a thickness of 3 mm to 50 mm, formed by laminating felt-like rock wool in the thickness direction, and having a planar shape of a square or rectangle with two sides each having a length of 50 cm or more. Note that, although the above description has been given of a double-sided tape having a configuration in which the adhesive layer 22 for manufacturing is formed on both sides of a film support, the manufacturing method of the present invention is not limited to this, and the substrate-less double-sided tape described above can also be used.
[0049] The felt-based four-periphery treated material 10A or 10B that provides the effects of the present invention can be easily obtained by using an adhesive layer-forming member 20 having the following configuration in the lamination step. The adhesive layer-forming member 20 for production must have the same planar shape as the surface of the manufacturing substrate 11 on which the adhesive layer 22 is to be formed, and the shape of the adhesive layer with release paper after the laminate 30, in which the adhesive layer-forming member 20 is laminated on the manufacturing substrate 11, is cut in the cutting step must have the following configuration. Specifically, the adhesive layer 22 for production must have a configuration such that the cut product has a shape that forms a non-adhesive region 4, where no adhesive is present, along at least one longitudinal edge of the rock wool substrate 1, as shown in FIG. 1. Alternatively, the adhesive layer 22 used in manufacturing is required to have a unique shape such that the product after cutting has a configuration in which adhesive regions 3 containing adhesive and non-adhesive regions 4 without adhesive are formed alternately, as shown in Figure 3(D) or 3(E), and has a configuration in which non-adhesive regions 4 without adhesive are provided in at least one edge portion in the short direction of the rock wool substrate 1, including at least one end of that edge.
[0050] 4(A) to 4(C) show examples of patterns formed by adhesive regions 33 and non-adhesive regions 44 that constitute the adhesive layer 22 formed on the adhesive layer-forming member 20 for production. For example, if the patterns of FIG. 4(A) or 4(C) are applied to the above-mentioned manufacturing method, the felt-based four-periphery treated material 10B of the second invention can be easily obtained. Also, if the pattern of FIG. 4(B) is applied to the above-mentioned manufacturing method, the felt-based four-periphery treated material 10A of the first invention can be easily obtained. However, the present invention is not limited to these patterns.
[0051] By simply attaching the adhesive layer-forming member 20 having the adhesive layer with a release paper for manufacturing, as configured above, to the manufacturing substrate 11, a laminate 30 for manufacturing can be easily obtained, which can form the adhesive layer 2 with a release paper of the specific shape defined by the present invention. The wide laminate 30 thus obtained, in which the adhesive layer 22 with a release paper 55 is laminated on one flat surface of the manufacturing substrate 11, is then cut to an appropriate width in the next cutting step, as shown in Figure 3(C), to easily obtain the felt-based four-peripheral treated material of the present invention. For example, if the laminate 30 is formed by laminating an adhesive layer-forming member 20 having an adhesive region 33 with the pattern shown in Figure 4(B), the felt-based four-peripheral treated material 10A, as shown in Figure 1, can be easily obtained, in which the adhesive layer 2 with the specific configuration defined by the first invention is formed.
[0052] Furthermore, for example, a felt-based four-periphery treated material 10B can be easily obtained, which is formed with an adhesive layer 2 having a specific configuration defined by the second invention, as shown in Figures 2(A) and (B). More specifically, for example, if a laminate 30 is formed by laminating adhesive layer-forming members 20 having adhesive regions 33 in the pattern shown in Figure 4(A), the felt-based four-periphery treated material of Figure 3(D) can be obtained by cutting along line segment DD in Figure 3(C). Furthermore, the felt-based four-periphery treated material of Figure 3(E) can be obtained by cutting along line segment EE and line segment E'-E' in Figure 3(C). [Example]
[0053] The present invention will be specifically described below based on examples and comparative examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.
[0054] 3(A) to 3(C), felt-based four-sided treated materials with different adhesive layer configurations were obtained and used as evaluation samples for Examples and Comparative Examples. Specifically, as evaluation samples, a laminate made of rock wool (manufactured by Marusan Paper Co., Ltd.) 10 mm thick, 40 mm wide, and 200 mm long was used as the substrate 1, and three types of felt-based four-sided treated materials were prepared, two Examples and one Comparative Example, with different shapes (area and adhesive pattern) of the adhesive region 3 of the adhesive layer 2 formed on one flat surface of this substrate 1.
[0055] When producing the above-mentioned evaluation samples, the adhesive layer 2 with the release paper 5 was formed by using a so-called double-sided tape in which adhesive layers 22 were provided on both sides of a film support, with one side of the adhesive layer 22 protected by a release paper 55, as the adhesive layer-forming member 20 having the adhesive layer 22 with the release paper 55. The adhesive layer 22 on the side of each adhesive layer-forming member 20 not protected by the release paper 55 was then attached to one flat surface of the substrate 11 prepared above and cut to a width of 40 mm to obtain felt-based four-sided treated materials for the examples and comparative examples, respectively. The adhesive layer 22 on the side protected by the release paper 55 of the double-sided tape used had adhesive regions 33 with different adhesive patterns.
[0056] Specifically, in both the examples and comparative examples, an adhesive layer forming member (double-sided tape) was used, in which an adhesive layer was provided on one side of a release paper of the same size as the substrate prepared above, with the adhesive surface protected by the release paper, to form an adhesive layer having different areas of adhesive regions having the adhesive on one flat surface of the substrate.
[0057] That is, the adhesive layer constituting the four-sided treated material of Examples 1 and 2, as shown in FIG. 1, has a non-adhesive region 4 where no adhesive is present, provided along the entire length of one edge, and the total area of the adhesive region 3 containing the adhesive, when the planar area of the substrate 1 is taken as 100%, is 99% in Example 1 (1% non-adhesive region) and 80% in Example 2 (20% non-adhesive region). In contrast, when the planar area of the substrate is taken as 100% in the felt-based four-sided treated material of the comparative example, the total area of the adhesive region constituting the adhesive layer 2' (see FIG. 7(B)) is also 100%, so both are the same, and are similar to conventional products that do not have non-adhesive regions. An acrylic adhesive was used to form the adhesive layer, and the release paper was made of high-quality paper coated with a silicone resin.
[0058] For each of the felt-based four-sided treated materials of the Examples and Comparative Examples, which differ in the total area of the adhesive region of the adhesive layer, a peel test was conducted to remove the release paper to expose the adhesive layer as shown in Figures 5(A) to 5(D) and 6(A) to 6(C). This test examined the ease of peeling the release paper during the peeling operation and the effect on the substrate caused by peeling. The peel test was conducted as follows. First, a test fixture attachment 7 for removing the release paper 5 was attached to the release paper 5 at the end of the tested felt-based four-sided treated material using an epoxy adhesive to prevent peeling. The test fixture was then lifted at a constant speed of 1 mm / min to examine the peeling state of the release paper 5 laminated to the adhesive layers 2 and 2'.
[0059] Table 1 shows the evaluation results for each felt-based four-periphery treated material of Examples 1 and 2 and the Comparative Example. For reference, the peel strength was calculated from the difference in resistance strength when pulled up for Examples 1 and 2 and the Comparative Example, and the values are also listed in Table 1. Also, Figures 7(A) and 7(B) show the difference in the peel state of the release paper after the peel test for Example 2 and the Comparative Example. As can be seen from Table 1, the results of the above peel test showed that the felt-based four-periphery treated material 10C of the Comparative Example required a greater peel strength than Examples 1 and 2. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 7(A), in the case of the felt-based four-periphery treated material 10A of the Example, only the release paper 5 could be peeled cleanly without affecting the substrate 1. In contrast, as shown in FIG. 7(B), in the case of the comparative felt-based four-way treated material 10C, which does not have a non-adhesive region at the end, the release paper 5 does not peel easily from the adhesive layer 2' as in the example of FIG. 7(A). When forcibly peeled off, the adhesive layer 2' and a portion of the substrate 1, which is a laminate laminated with the adhesive layer 2' in the thickness direction, peel off together, resulting in a damaged state. In this state, the felt-based four-way treated material cannot be used in good condition. Therefore, in the case of the comparative felt-based four-way treated material 10C, to avoid this state, the worker must carefully and cautiously peel off the release paper.
[0060] That is, the results of the peel test confirmed that, as in Examples 1 and 2, by providing a non-adhesive region 4 where no adhesive is present along one longitudinal edge of the adhesive layer 2 provided on the surface of the substrate 1, the release paper 5 can be easily peeled off from the adhesive layer 2. This means that, according to the present invention, it is possible to improve work efficiency by a simple means, and also to suppress an increase in material costs caused by damage to the felt-based peripheral treatment material.

[0062] The evaluation results in Table 1 were evaluated according to the following criteria. (1) Ease of peeling The peel strength was evaluated according to the following criteria, taking into consideration the ratio of the peel strength of the Example to that of the Comparative Example (peel strength of the Example / peel strength of the Comparative Example) and the sensation felt when the release paper was peeled off. ⊚: The value of the above ratio is less than 0.1. The release paper peels off very smoothly. ◯: The value of the ratio is 0.1 or more and 0.2 or less. The release paper is easier to peel off than the material of the comparative example. ×: The value of the ratio is more than 0.2. As with the material of the comparative example, peeling of the release paper is difficult. (2) Damage to the substrate ⊚: No peeling was observed in the laminate of the substrate. ◯: Slight peeling is observed in the laminate of the substrate, but this does not pose a problem in practical use. ×: Clear peeling was observed in the laminate of the substrate.
[0063] Using the same materials as described above and in the same manner, a felt-based four-periphery treated material was obtained, as shown in Figure 3(E), in which the total area of the adhesive region 3 was 80% (non-adhesive region was 20%) and the adhesive layer 2 had a pattern in which adhesive regions 3 and non-adhesive regions 4 were alternately formed along one edge in the longitudinal direction. The obtained felt-based four-periphery treated material was then evaluated in the same manner as described above. As a result, as with the felt-based four-periphery treated material of Example 2, the release paper 5 peeled off extremely smoothly, and no peeling was observed at all in the laminate of the substrate 1.Brief explanation of symbols
