MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

[0014] The following describes embodiments for carrying out the invention. As can be seen from Figures 1 to 3, the door body 1b of this embodiment is the door body 1b of the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 1, and comprises a door frame 1ba formed by combining a plurality of vertical frames 50 and horizontal frames 60, and a door panel portion 1bb that covers the central opening 1baa of the door frame 1ba. Furthermore, this door body 1b is provided with reinforcing members that span adjacent vertical frames 50 and horizontal frames 60. As a result, the door body 1b of the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 1 can be made stronger while reducing waste material. In particular, the joint between the vertical frames 50 and the horizontal frames 60 can be made stronger by the reinforcing members.

[0015] Here, we will describe the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 1. The electrical and electronic equipment storage box 1 comprises a box body 1a capable of housing electrical and electronic equipment, and a door body 1b that can cover an opening 1aa provided in the box body 1a. In the example shown in Figures 1 and 2, the door body 1b is rotatably attached to the box body 1a via a hinge member 1c.

[0016] The electrical and electronic equipment storage box 1 is used to house electrical and electronic equipment such as circuit breakers, switches, transformers, relays, communication devices, measuring devices, control devices, sensor devices, air conditioning equipment, and servers in the box body 1a. Examples include distribution boards, switchboards, control panels, high-voltage receiving equipment (including cubicle-type high-voltage receiving equipment), and system racks.

[0017] The door body 1b connected to the box body 1a of the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 1 comprises a door frame 1ba and a door panel 1bb that covers the central opening 1baa formed in the center of the door frame 1ba. In the example shown in Figures 1 to 3, the door frame 1ba is formed in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped using two sets of vertical frames 50 and horizontal frames 60. The door panel 1bb is attached so as to cover the central opening 1baa formed in the door frame 1ba from the rear side. Therefore, when the door body 1b is locked with the opening 1aa of the box body 1a covered, it becomes difficult to secretly remove the door panel 1bb from the door frame 1ba, thus enhancing security.

[0018] As can be seen from Figures 3 and 4, the vertical frame 50 used to construct the door frame 1ba is preferably made by bending the short end of a vertically elongated plate. In this embodiment, the short end is bent so that the surfaces form a 90-degree angle, and then the surfaces at the tip are bent so that they form a 90-degree angle, thereby forming a concave portion in cross-section and increasing strength.

[0019] Specifically, the vertical frame 50 has a first surface 51 that is located at the end of the door body 1b when viewed from the front, a second surface 52 that extends at a 90-degree angle to the first surface 51, and a third surface 53 that extends at a 90-degree angle to the second surface 52 and is parallel to the first surface 51. The third surface 53 is formed in a position opposite to the first surface 51 and is positioned so that it is hidden from view by the first surface 51 when the door body 1b is viewed from the front.

[0020] Furthermore, the horizontally elongated horizontal frame 60, which is combined with the vertical frame 50 at a 90-degree angle, has a bend at its longitudinal end in the example shown in Figure 4. The horizontal frame 60 has a first surface 61 that is located at the end of the door body 1b when viewed from the front, and a second surface 62 that extends at a 90-degree angle to the first surface 61. Because it is bent in this way, the horizontal frame 60 can be made stronger.

[0021] In this embodiment, the door frame 1ba is formed by combining two metal vertical frames 50 and two horizontal frames 60. In this embodiment, a portion of the vertical frame 50 and a portion of the horizontal frame 60 are overlapped (Figures 4 and 5), and the first surface 51 of the vertical frame 50 and the first surface 61 of the horizontal frame 60 are welded together to maintain contact. In this embodiment, spot welding is used for this welding, but other welding methods may also be used.

[0022] In this embodiment, the vertical frame 50 and the horizontal frame 60 are made by bending a plate-shaped member to form a second surface, thereby increasing their strength. Furthermore, the strength can be further increased by arranging them so that the second surface 52 of the vertical frame 50 and the second surface 62 of the horizontal frame 60 are in contact with each other.

[0023] The strength can be further increased by forming a third surface on the outer frame (the vertical frame 50 in the embodiment shown in Figure 6) by bending it further from the second surface when the frames are stacked. Furthermore, the strength can be increased by bringing the tip of the second surface of the inner frame (the horizontal frame 60 in the embodiment shown in Figure 6) into contact with the third surface, but contact is not necessarily required.

[0024] In the example above, the horizontal frame 60 is on the inside and the vertical frame 50 is on the outside, but the overlapping order can be reversed. Also, the positions of the second and third surfaces can be different. In any case, it is preferable that the vertical frame 50 and the horizontal frame 60 have a first surface where the frames overlap each other and a second surface that extends at a 90-degree angle to the first surface, and that the frame with the second surface on the outside has a third surface that extends at a 90-degree angle to the second surface and faces the first surface. This configuration allows for securing strength by overlapping multiple surfaces and by having the outer frame cover the inner frame.

[0025] In the example shown in Figure 5, a reinforcing member is provided that spans the adjacent vertical frame 50 and horizontal frame 60. The reinforcing member can suppress deformation (such as bending) of the door body 1b and is configured to be resistant to bending. In this embodiment, the reinforcing member includes a vertical reinforcing member 70 fixed to the vertical frame 50 and a horizontal reinforcing member 80 fixed to the horizontal frame 60.

[0026] The vertical reinforcing member 70 shown in Figures 7 and 8 comprises a reinforcing portion 71 formed by bending a plate material into a roughly U-shape in cross-section, and fixing pieces 72 extending outward from both ends of the reinforcing portion 71, thus having a hat-shaped cross-section. Furthermore, the vertical reinforcing member 70 shown in Figure 3 is formed to be elongated, with a length similar to the longitudinal length of the door body 1b. However, the configuration is not limited to this, and multiple vertical reinforcing members 70 can be arranged in a row to achieve a length similar to the longitudinal length of the door body 1b.

[0027] In the example shown in Figure 7, the reinforcing portion 71 of the vertical reinforcing member 70 is formed to protrude from the longitudinal end of the fixing piece 72 at its longitudinal end. Furthermore, the reinforcing portion 71 in this part extends only to a position slightly set back from the joint surface of the fixing piece 72, so that the reinforcing portion 71 and the vertical frame 50 can sandwich the horizontal frame 60 when the end of the fixing piece 72 abuts against the horizontal frame 60. In this embodiment, the reinforcing portion 71 is formed to protrude from the fixing piece 72 at both ends of the vertical reinforcing member 70.

[0028] In this embodiment, the vertical reinforcing member 70 is brought into contact with the vertical frame 50 and welded with a fixing piece 72. In this embodiment, this welding is spot welding, but other welding methods may also be used.

[0029] As can be seen from Figures 9 and 10, in this embodiment, the thickness of the vertical reinforcing member 70 is formed to be approximately the same as the thickness of the horizontal frame 60. Therefore, the surface of the fixing piece 72 of the vertical reinforcing member 70 fixed to the back side of the vertical frame 50 and the surface of the horizontal frame 60 fixed to the back side of the vertical frame 50 can be made flush (Figure 10). This makes it easy to configure the reinforcing portion 71 of the vertical reinforcing member 70 to abut against the first surface 61 of the horizontal frame 60.

[0030] As can be seen from Figures 5 and 9, if the reinforcing portion 71 of the vertical reinforcing member 70 is configured to abut against the first surface 61 of the horizontal frame 60, the horizontal frame 60 can be sandwiched between the vertical frame 50 and the vertical reinforcing member 70 fixed to the vertical frame 50. This configuration makes it easier to ensure strength. The combination of a part of the vertical frame 50, the horizontal frame 60, and the reinforcing member is not limited to the example described above, but it is preferable to overlap a part of an adjacent vertical frame 50 and a part of the horizontal frame 60 so that the other frame is sandwiched between one frame and the reinforcing member fixed to that frame. This makes it easier to ensure strength, so for example, it is possible to ensure strength even with fewer welds.

[0031] In addition, in the door frame 1ba of this embodiment, the reinforcing portion 71 of the vertical reinforcing member 70 is attached so as to straddle the joint between the vertical frame 50 and the horizontal frame 60, and this also ensures the strength of the door frame 1ba.

[0032] By the way, it is preferable that the longitudinal end of the fixing piece 72 of the vertical reinforcing member 70 abuts against at least one of the horizontal frame 60 which is overlapped and fixed to the vertical frame 50, so that the vertical position of the vertical reinforcing member 70 can be determined. The longitudinal end of the fixing piece 72 of the vertical reinforcing member 70 does not have to abut against the horizontal frame 60, but if it does abut against the horizontal frame 60, the position can be easily adjusted and the occurrence of displacement can be suppressed.

[0033] As can be seen from Figures 5, 11, and 12, in this embodiment, the horizontal reinforcing member 80 connected to the vertical reinforcing member 70 has a reinforcing portion 81 formed by bending a plate-shaped material into a U-shape in cross-section. Furthermore, this horizontal reinforcing member 80 has a fixing piece 82 that extends at an angle from the surface of one end of the reinforcing portion 81, and its cross-section is ladle-shaped. Note that the horizontal reinforcing member 80 in this embodiment is formed to be slightly shorter than the left-right length of the horizontal frame 60, and can reinforce the door body 1b along its shorter side.

[0034] In this embodiment, the horizontal reinforcing member 80 is fixed to the horizontal frame 60 and is in contact with the vertical reinforcing member 70 (Figure 5). By positioning the horizontal reinforcing member 80 so that its longitudinal end contacts the longitudinal side surface of the vertical reinforcing member 70, the portion sandwiched between the vertical frame 50 and the reinforcing portion 71 becomes longer, thereby increasing the strength (see Figure 13).

[0035] Furthermore, welding the contact points between the vertical reinforcing member 70 and the horizontal reinforcing member 80 will provide a stronger fixation, although the horizontal reinforcing member 80 is not necessarily required. In addition to strengthening the connection between the vertical frame 50 and the horizontal frame 60, the reinforcing members can also have the effect of suppressing the deflection of the door body 1b. In particular, by providing a configuration with a horizontal reinforcing member 80, the door body 1b can be made less prone to deflection even when the thickness of the door frame 1ba and door panel 1bb is reduced.

[0036] Here, we will describe the door panel portion 1bb that is attached to the door frame 1ba. The door panel portion 1bb covers the central opening 1baa formed in the center of the door frame 1ba, and is made of a resin board such as acrylic. In this case, it is preferable that the resin board allows visibility into the inside of the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 1. Alternatively, it may be a metal plate with multiple holes, such as perforated metal or expanded metal. Furthermore, it may be a simple metal plate.

[0037] The door panel 1bb shown in Figures 5 and 14 to 16 is positioned to straddle the fixing piece 72 of the vertical reinforcing member 70, which is fixed to the vertical frame 50, and the horizontal frame 60, and the perimeter of the door panel 1bb is fixed. The door panel 1bb may be fixed by welding or by using a clip or other component. In this example, since the door panel 1bb is fixed to straddle the vertical reinforcing member 70 fixed to the vertical frame 50 and the horizontal frame 60, the strength of the door frame 1ba can be increased.

[0038] As can be seen from this example, it is preferable that the reinforcing member is equipped with a fixing piece for securing it to the frame, and that the door panel 1bb is provided with a fixing piece that is secured to one frame and that spans the other frame. This is because the door panel 1bb is also attached across multiple frames, thereby reinforcing the strength of the door frame 1ba.

[0039] The present invention has been described above with reference to the embodiments, but the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments and can be made into various forms. For example, a door frame as shown in Figure 17 may be used. In this case, the vertical frame 50 and the horizontal frame 60 each have a first surface and a second surface that extends at an angle to the first surface, but the first surface 51 of the vertical frame 50 and the first surface 61 of the horizontal frame 60 overlap, and the second surface 52 of the vertical frame 50 and the second surface 62 of the horizontal frame 60 overlap. Even in this case, the strength of the door frame 1ba can be ensured. In the example shown in Figure 17, the angle between the first surface and the second surface is 45 degrees, but the present invention is not limited to this angle.

[0040] Furthermore, it is preferable to have a third surface extending at an angle to the second surface in the frame where the second surface faces outward. This is because it makes it easier to ensure greater strength.

[0041] In the example shown in Figure 17, the outer vertical frame 50 is provided with a third surface 53 that extends at an angle with the second surface 52, and this third surface 53 is configured to form a 90-degree angle with the first surface 51. Of course, this angle does not have to be limited to 90 degrees and can be any desired angle. [Explanation of Symbols]
