Abstract
To provide a production method of a novel chemical product and carbide capable of efficiently producing a chemical product from waste tires, and capable of efficiently obtaining carbide together.SOLUTION: A production method of a chemical product and carbide comprises: a pyrolysis step of obtaining a first gaseous fraction, a pyrolysis oil, and a residue through pyrolysis of chopped waste materials including waste tires; a carbide recovery step of recovering carbides from the residual fraction; a hydrocracking step of obtaining a second gaseous fraction, a light fraction, and a heavy fraction through hydrocracking of a raw oil containing at least some of pyrolysis oil; and a steam-cracking step of obtaining a raw material for producing chemical products and carbides through steam-cracking of a steam-cracking raw oil containing a least some of the light fraction. Therein, a pyrolysis temperature for causing pyrolysis is 350 to 750°C. In the hydrocracking step. a raw material oil contains a low-boiling-point raw material and a high-boiling-point raw material. A content of the high-boiling-point raw material is 15 mass% or more based on a total amount of the raw material oil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
