Abstract
To provide a lead-acid battery that exhibits excellent life performance in a life test that assumes the way an auxiliary battery is used during parking of an automobile.SOLUTION: A lead-acid battery comprises: a negative electrode 9 containing a negative electrode active material 13; a positive electrode 10 containing a positive electrode active material 15; a separator 11 disposed between the negative electrode 9 and the positive electrode 10; and a non-woven fabric 20 disposed in at least one of a portion between the negative electrode 9 and the separator 11 and a portion between the positive electrode 10 and the separator 11. A ratio of the mass of the positive electrode active material 15 to that of the negative electrode active material 13 is 1.50 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
