Battery module comprising: a cell assembly comprising a plurality of battery cells; and a compression pad assembly located between the plurality of battery cells, wherein the compression pad assembly comprises a heat blocking unit in which at least one hollow section is formed, wherein the heat blocking unit comprises a body section formed from a metal material, wherein the body section is produced by extrusion, and wherein the at least one hollow section in the body section is formed by extrusion and extends long in an extrusion direction in the body section, and wherein the body section is located between the plurality of battery cells.
