Abstract

To provide a water-based ink that can produce a film with excellent adhesion, resistance to blocking between films, water-resistant friction, and good slipperiness on a wet PET substrate. [Solution] The problem is solved by an aqueous ink containing a binder resin, an aqueous solvent, a water-repellent silicone, and a surfactant, wherein the resin beads are present in an amount of 0.2 to 4% by mass relative to the total amount of aqueous ink, the particle size of the resin beads is 5 μm or larger, the binder resin is a (meth)acrylic resin emulsion, the aqueous solvent contains purified water, the water-repellent silicone is present in an amount of 0.2 to 2.5% by mass relative to the total amount of aqueous ink, and the surfactant is one or more selected from acetylene-based surfactants and alcohol alkoxylate-based surfactants, present in an amount of 0.1% to 3.0% by mass relative to the total amount of aqueous ink.

Claims

1. It contains a binder resin, an aqueous solvent, a water-repellent silicone, a surfactant, and a wax with a particle size of less than 5 μm. The resin beads are contained in an amount of 0.2 to 4% by mass relative to the total amount of water-based ink. The resin beads are made of one or more resins selected from benzoguanamine resin, acrylic resin, and polyethylene resin. The particle size of the resin beads is 5 μm or more and 12 μm or less. The binder resin is a (meth)acrylic resin emulsion, the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the (meth)acrylic resin is -10°C to 100°C, and the acid value is 0 mg KOH / g to 100 mg KOH / g. The aqueous solvent contains purified water, The water-repellent silicone is contained in an amount of 0.2 to 2.5% by mass relative to the total amount of the aqueous ink. The surfactant is one or more selected from acetylene-based surfactants and alcohol alkoxylate-based surfactants, and is contained in an amount of 0.1% by mass or more and 3.0% by mass or less based on the total amount of the aqueous ink. Water-based ink for flexographic or gravure printing used on plastic labels for beverage bottles.

2. The aqueous ink according to claim 1, wherein the aqueous ink further contains a curing agent.

3. The aqueous ink according to claim 2, wherein the curing agent is an aziridine-based curing agent.

4. The (meth)acrylic resin emulsion is a styrene-(meth)acrylic resin emulsion. The aqueous ink according to claim 3.

5. The aqueous ink according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the content of the water-repellent silicone is 0.2 to 1.6% by mass relative to the total amount of the aqueous ink.

6. The aqueous ink according to claim 1 or 2, further containing a pigment.

7. The aqueous ink according to claim 6, wherein the pigment is titanium dioxide and is contained in the aqueous ink in an amount of 30% by mass or more.

8. The water-based ink according to claim 1, used for shrink labels on beverage bottles.

9. A laminate comprising a substrate and a printing layer provided on the substrate, wherein the printing layer is a printing layer of the aqueous ink described in claim 1 or 2.

10. The laminate according to claim 9, further comprising a varnish layer on the printed layer.
