Description

【Technical Field】 【0001】 The present disclosure relates to a seat under tray. 【Background Art】 【0002】 A seat under tray in which a tray that can be pulled forward is disposed in a space below a vehicle seat has been conventionally known. For example, Patent Document 1 below describes an under tray that is slidably supported by a pair of rails provided on both the left and right sides of the lower surface of a seat cushion. 【Prior Art Documents】 【Patent Documents】 【0003】 【Patent Document 1】 Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2015-098250 【Summary of the Invention】 【Problems to be Solved by the Invention】 【0004】 In the case of a seat under tray as described above, if the tray is pulled forward due to the impact at the time of a vehicle collision, there is a risk of contacting the legs or the like of the vehicle occupants and causing injury. Therefore, even when the vehicle collides, it is necessary to prevent the tray from being pulled forward by the impact at the time of the collision. 【0005】 In view of the above points, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a seat under tray that is not pulled forward when the vehicle collides or the like. 【Means for Solving the Problems】 【0006】 To achieve the above objective, a seat under tray according to a first aspect of the present disclosure includes a first rail and a second rail extending in the front-rear direction of the seat cushion, which are arranged spaced apart in the width direction of the seat cushion on the left and right sides below the seat cushion on which the occupant sits, and a tray that is slidably guided on the first rail and the second rail so as to be able to take a stored state in which it is stored in the space below the seat cushion and a pulled-out state in which it is pulled out from the space below the seat cushion in the front-rear direction of the seat cushion, wherein the strength of the portion of the first rail that supports the tray is lower than the strength of the portion of the second rail that supports the tray. 【0007】 In such an under-seat tray, the strength of the part of the first rail that supports the tray is lower than the strength of the part of the second rail that supports the tray 40, and therefore deforms relatively easily. This allows for a change in the direction of the inertial force generated when, for example, the vehicle collides with the front, thereby preventing the tray from being pulled forward. 【0008】 A seat under tray according to a second aspect of the present disclosure, wherein the seat under tray according to the first aspect of the present disclosure comprises a first main rail having a first rail portion extending along the front-rear direction of the seat cushion, a first front connecting portion connecting the front end of the first rail portion to the seat cushion, and a first rear connecting portion connecting the rear end of the first rail portion to the seat cushion; a second main rail having a second rail portion extending along the front-rear direction of the seat cushion, a second front connecting portion connecting the front end of the second rail portion to the seat cushion, and a second rear connecting portion connecting the rear end of the second rail portion to the seat cushion; and a first reinforcing member spanning between the intermediate portion of the second front connecting portion and the intermediate portion of the second rear connecting portion to supplement the front-rear strength of the second main rail. 【0009】 In such a seat under tray, the strength of the first and second rails can be adjusted by a simple method of employing a first reinforcing member. 【0010】 A third aspect of the present disclosure is a seat under tray according to the first or second aspect of the present disclosure, wherein the first rail is made of a long rod material having a predetermined diameter, and the second rail is made of a long rod material having a larger diameter than the first rail. 【0011】 In such a seat under tray, the strength of the first and second rails can be adjusted by a simple method of adjusting the wire diameter of the rails. 【0012】 A seat under tray according to a fourth aspect of the present disclosure is a seat under tray according to any of the first to third aspects of the present disclosure, wherein the tray comprises a box-shaped tray body with an open top, and a plurality of latching pieces provided on the left and right sides of the tray body, respectively, and which can be latched onto the first rail and the second rail from above, the first rail and the second rail include contact portions that abut against a portion of the plurality of latching pieces when the tray is in the stored state, thereby restricting the forward or backward movement of the latching pieces. 【0013】 In such an under-seat tray, the tray's extension is restricted by the contact point when it is stored, thus preventing the tray from unintentionally popping out without deformation of the first rail, except in cases where a large inertial force occurs, such as during a vehicle collision. 【0014】 A fifth aspect of the present disclosure is a seat under tray according to any of the first to fourth aspects of the present disclosure, which includes handles provided in front of and behind the tray, in positions adjacent to the second rail than to the first rail. 【0015】 In such a seat under tray, since the handle is arranged at a position away from the first rail, it is possible to suppress the deformation of the first rail due to the force when the operator pulls out the tray. 【Effect of the Invention】 【0016】 According to the seat under tray of the present disclosure, even when the vehicle collides, etc., it will not be pulled forward. 【Brief Description of the Drawings】 【0017】 [Figure 1] FIG. 15 is a schematic perspective view showing an example of a vehicle seat including a seat under tray according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. [Figure 2] FIG. 18 is a schematic perspective view showing an example of a seat under tray according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. [Figure 3] FIG. 21 is a schematic perspective view showing an example of the first and second rails of the seat under tray shown in FIG. 2. [Figure 4] FIG. 24 is a side view of the seat under tray shown in FIG. 2. [Figure 5] FIG. 27 is a plan view of the seat under tray shown in FIG. 2. [Figure 6] FIG. 30 is a schematic perspective view showing a modification example of a seat under tray according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. 【Mode for Carrying Out the Invention】 【0018】 Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following, the scope necessary for the description for achieving the object of the present disclosure is schematically shown, and mainly the scope necessary for the description of the relevant part of the present disclosure will be described, and parts where the description is omitted are assumed to be based on known techniques. In addition, when a plurality of members that are identical or equivalent to each other are included in the drawings, for the sake of easy viewing of the drawings, in some cases, only some of them are labeled. 【0019】 <First Embodiment> FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view showing an example of a vehicle seat including a seat under tray according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 1, the seat under tray 10 according to the present embodiment can be disposed below the vehicle seat 1. 【0020】 The vehicle seat 1 can be used as a front seat of a vehicle, for example, an automobile. As shown in FIG. 1, the vehicle seat 1 includes a seat cushion 2 that supports the buttocks and thighs of the seated occupant, and a seat back 3 that supports the back of the seated occupant. In FIG. 1, the arrow FR indicates the front side of the seat, the arrow UP indicates the upper side of the seat, and the arrow W indicates the width direction of the seat. Here, the right hand direction when facing the front side of the seat is defined as the "right side of the seat", and the left hand direction is defined as the "left side of the seat". Further, in the present embodiment, the front side, upper side, and width direction of the vehicle seat 1 are substantially the same as the front side, upper side, and width direction of the vehicle. 【0021】 The seat cushion 2 can be configured to include, for example, a cushion frame made of metal and a cushion pad at least a part of the surface of which is covered with a skin. Each corner of the lower surface of the seat cushion 2 may be fixed to the pedestal 4. The seat under tray 10 according to the present embodiment can be installed in the space formed below the seat cushion 2 by being supported by the pedestal 4. 【0022】 The seat back 3 can be configured to include, for example, a back frame made of metal and a back pad at least a part of the surface of which is covered with a skin. The seat back 3 may be connected to the seat cushion 2 via a reclining mechanism or the like and may be tiltable in the front-rear direction. 【0023】 Figure 2 is a schematic perspective view showing an example of a seat under tray according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, showing the tray in a stored state. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the seat under tray 10 according to this embodiment includes first and second rails 20 and 30 arranged at least on the left and right sides below the seat cushion 2, spaced apart in the width direction of the seat cushion 2, and a tray 40 that is slidably guided by the first and second rails 20 and 30. 【0024】 Figure 3 is a schematic perspective view showing an example of the first and second rails of the seat under tray shown in Figure 2. The first rail 20, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, is located on the right side of the seat below the seat cushion 2 and can be composed of a rail that extends in the front-rear direction of the seat cushion 2. This first rail 20 can cooperate with the second rail, which will be described later, to guide the sliding movement of the tray 40. The first rail 20 includes, for example, a first main rail 21 which is made by bending a long metal rod material having a predetermined diameter. 【0025】 The first main rail 21 may include a first rail section 22 extending along the front-rear direction of the seat cushion, a first front connecting section 23 connecting the front end of the first rail section 22 to the seat cushion 2, and a first rear connecting section 24 connecting the rear end of the first rail section 22 to the seat cushion 2. Of these, the first rail section 22 may be arranged on the lower right side of the seat cushion 2, extending from a position adjacent to the front end of the seat cushion 2 to a position adjacent to the rear end of the seat cushion 2. 【0026】 The first front connecting portion 23 is formed to extend mainly in the vertical direction, and one end thereof may be composed of a first front fixing portion 23A for fixing to the front lower surface of the seat cushion 2, for example by screwing it in. The other end may be composed of a first front stopper portion 25, which is an example of a contact portion that connects to the front end of the first rail portion 22 and can contact the latching piece 42, described later, in particular the front latching piece 42F provided on the right side of the tray body 41, to restrict its movement. This first front stopper portion 25 may be shaped to extend outward in the seat width direction from the front end of the first rail portion 22, specifically to the right side of the seat. In this way, because the first front stopper portion 25 extends outward in the seat width direction, each part of the first front connecting portion 23, excluding the first front stopper portion 25, does not come into contact with the latching piece 42 of the sliding tray 40. 【0027】 The first rear connecting portion 24 may have the same structure as the first front connecting portion 23 described above. Specifically, the first rear connecting portion 24 is formed to extend mainly in the vertical direction, and one end thereof may be composed of a first rear fixing portion 24A for fixing to the rear lower surface of the seat cushion 2, for example by screwing it in. The other end may be composed of a first rear stopper portion 26 as an example of a contact portion, which connects to the rear end of the first rail portion 22 and can contact a latching piece 42, particularly a rear latching piece 42B provided on the right side of the tray body 41, to restrict its movement. This first rear stopper portion 26 may have a shape that extends outward in the seat width direction from the rear end of the first rail portion 22, specifically to the right side of the seat. In this way, because the first rear stopper portion 26 extends outward in the sheet width direction, each part of the first rear connecting portion 24, excluding the first rear stopper portion 26, does not come into contact with the latching piece 42 of the sliding tray 40. 【0028】 As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the second rail 30 is positioned on the left side of the seat below the seat cushion 2 and can be composed of a rail extending in the front-rear direction of the seat cushion 2. This second rail 30 includes, for example, a second main rail 31 formed by bending a long metal rod material having a predetermined diameter, and a first reinforcing member 37 that reinforces the front-rear strength of the second main rail 31. 【0029】 The second main rail 31 can have the same configuration as the first main rail 21, except that it is arranged symmetrically to the first main rail 21. That is, it may include a second rail section 32 extending along the front-rear direction of the seat cushion, a second front connecting section 33 connecting the front end of the second rail section 32 to the seat cushion 2, and a second rear connecting section 34 connecting the rear end of the second rail section 32 to the seat cushion 2. The second front connecting section 33 may also have a second front fixing section 33A at one end for fixing to the front lower surface of the seat cushion 2, and a second front stopper section 35 at the other end, which is an example of a contact section that can abut against a front latching piece 42F provided on the left side of the tray body 41 (described later) to restrict its movement. Furthermore, the second rear connecting portion 34 may have a second rear fixing portion 34A at one end for fixing to the rear lower surface of the seat cushion 2, and a second rear stopper portion 36 at the other end, which is an example of a contact portion that can abut against a rear latching piece 42B provided on the left side of the tray body 41 (described later) to restrict its movement. 【0030】 The first reinforcing member 37 may function to improve the strength of the second main rail 31, particularly the bending strength against external forces in the front-rear direction of the parts that support the tray 40, such as the second front stopper portion 35 and the second rail portion 32. The first reinforcing member 37 in this embodiment can be made of a long metal rod having a predetermined diameter, similar to the second main rail 31. The first reinforcing member 37 can be positioned above the second rail portion 32 and connected to the intermediate portion of the second front connecting portion 33 and the intermediate portion of the second rear connecting portion 34, respectively, with its end extending in the vertical direction. In this way, by providing the first reinforcing member 37 spanning between the second front connecting portion 33 and the second rear connecting portion 34, the strength of the part of the second main rail 31 that supports the tray 40 becomes higher than the strength of the part of the first main rail 21 that supports the tray 40. 【0031】 In addition, the seat under tray 10 according to this embodiment may further include a second reinforcing member 11 attached to the first main rail 21 and the second main rail 31. The second reinforcing member 11 can be made of a long metal rod having a predetermined diameter, similar to the first main rail 21 and the second main rail 31. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 3, the second reinforcing member 11 may be a member that is substantially U-shaped in plan view, including a first rail reinforcing member 12 positioned above the first rail section 22 and fixed to the first front connecting section 23 and the first rear connecting section 24, a second rail reinforcing member 13 positioned above the second rail section 32 and fixed to the second front connecting section 33 and the second rear connecting section 34, and a connecting section 14 connecting the front end of the first rail reinforcing member 12 and the front end of the second rail reinforcing member 13. 【0032】 By providing the second reinforcing member 11 described above, the first rail 20 and the second rail 30 have improved strength, mainly in the sheet width direction, due to the second reinforcing member 11 including the connecting portion 14. 【0033】 Figure 4 shows the under-seat tray shown in Figure 2 from a different angle, with Figure 4(A) being a left side view and Figure 4(B) being a right side view. As shown in Figures 2 and 4, the tray 40 is slidably guided by the first and second rails 20 and 30, allowing it to be stored in the space below the seat cushion 2 and pulled out in the front-to-back direction from the space below the seat cushion 2. This tray 40 may include a box-shaped tray body 41 with an open top. 【0034】 The tray body 41 can be made of, for example, a synthetic resin, and its size in the seat width direction should be adjusted so that its left and right sides are positioned slightly inside the first and second rail sections 22 and 32. The length of the tray body 41 in the front-to-back direction should be adjusted to be the same as or slightly smaller than the length of the seat cushion 2 in the front-to-back direction. Furthermore, the length of the tray body 41 in the vertical direction should be adjusted so that when the tray body 41 is attached to the first and second rails 20 and 30, a small gap is secured between the bottom surface of the tray body 41 and the floor of the vehicle. 【0035】 The left and right sides of the tray 40 may be provided with a plurality of latching pieces 42 that can be latched from above onto the first rail 20 and the second rail 30, more specifically the first rail section 22 and the second rail section 32. These latching pieces 42 may include front latching pieces 42F, one on each of the left and right sides of the tray 40, and rear latching pieces 42B, one on each of the left and right sides of the tray 40. The first and second rail sections 22 and 32 extend substantially parallel to each other. 【0036】 A pair of front latching pieces 42F may be provided on the upper part of the left and right sides of the tray 40, near the front end. This pair of front latching pieces 42F can be made of hook-shaped members that extend from the left and right sides of the tray 40 in a direction intersecting the sides for a predetermined length (specifically, slightly longer than the length of the first and second rail sections 22 and 32 in the sheet width direction), and then bend downward. With the above configuration, the pair of front latching pieces 42F can be latched onto the first and second rail sections 22 and 32 from above. 【0037】 The pair of rear latching pieces 42B may be provided on the upper part of the left and right sides of the tray 40, near the rear end. These rear latching pieces 42B may have the same shape as the pair of front latching pieces 42F described above; that is, they can be made up of hook-shaped members that extend a predetermined length from the left and right sides of the tray 40 in a direction intersecting the sides, and then bend downward. With the above configuration, the pair of rear latching pieces 42B can also be latched onto the first and second rail sections 22 and 32 from above, just like the pair of front latching pieces 42F. 【0038】 When both the pair of front locking pieces 42F and the pair of rear locking pieces 42B described above are locked to the first rail section 22 and the second rail section 32, the tray 40 is in the stored state shown in Figures 1 and 2. At this time, the front ends of the pair of front locking pieces 42F are in contact with or adjacent to the first and second front stopper sections 25 and 35 with a small gap between them, and the rear ends of the pair of rear locking pieces 42B are in contact with or adjacent to the first and second rear stopper sections 26 and 36 with a small gap between them. With the above arrangement, the tray 40 is positioned in the stored state and its movement in the front-rear direction is restricted, so rattling of the tray 40 can be suppressed. 【0039】 Elastic pieces 43 may be provided in the region between the front latching piece 42F and the rear latching piece 42B on the left and right sides of the tray 40, which elastically contact the first and second rail sections 22 and 32. As shown in Figures 2 and 4, these elastic pieces 43 elastically contact the first and second rail sections 22 and 32 from below when the pair of front latching pieces 42F and the pair of rear latching pieces 42B are latched to the first and second rail sections 22 and 32. 【0040】 Furthermore, the elastic piece 43 can be composed of, for example, a base portion 43A that protrudes in a direction intersecting the left and right sides of the tray 40 from the upper front-to-rear intermediate portion of the left and right sides, and a cantilevered arm portion 43B that extends diagonally upward from the front and rear ends of the base portion 43A, with its ends able to abut the lower surfaces of the first and second rail portions 22 and 32. By providing the elastic piece 43 described above, vertical rattling of the tray 40 can be prevented. 【0041】 Furthermore, handles 45 for moving the tray 40 in the front and rear directions may be provided at appropriate locations on the front and rear of the tray 40. In this embodiment, as shown in Figures 2 and 4, the handles 45 are exemplified as being formed on the upper ends of the front and rear surfaces of the tray 40, extending substantially along the entire length of the tray body 41 in the sheet width direction. 【0042】 In the seat under tray 10 described above, the following operation is required to pull out the tray 40. That is, to pull out the tray 40 from its stored state (see Figure 2, etc.) under the seat cushion 2, the operator first grasps the handle 45 provided on the front of the tray body 41 and lifts the front of the tray 40 upward. When the front of the tray 40 is lifted, the contact between the pair of front locking pieces 42F and the first and second front stopper parts 25, 35 is released. Then, while holding the front of the tray 40, the operator pulls the tray 40 forward, moving the pair of front locking pieces 42F to the front of the first and second front stopper parts 25, 35. Once the above movement is complete, the operator can release the operation of lifting the front of the tray 40 and pull the tray 40 further forward. 【0043】 When returning the tray 40, which has been pulled out forward, to its stored position, it is simply a matter of sliding the tray 40 backward. This is because the tip portions of the pair of front locking pieces 42F are formed as inclined surfaces that transition upward from front to back, as shown in Figure 4, so that when the tray 40 is slid backward, the pair of front locking pieces 42F automatically overcome the first and second front stopper portions 25 and 35. The aforementioned inclined surfaces are also formed on the pair of rear locking pieces 42B. 【0044】 Next, we will explain the case in which a large forward inertial force is generated in the seat under tray 10 having the above-described configuration due to a vehicle collision or the like. 【0045】 Figure 5 is a plan view of the under-seat tray shown in Figure 2. When a vehicle equipped with the under-seat tray 10 according to this embodiment collides with an object, for example, when the vehicle collides with an object from the front, a large inertial force acts on the tray 40 in the direction indicated by arrow F1 in Figure 5, i.e., forward. When the tray 40 is in the retracted state as shown in Figure 5 at the time of the collision, the inertial force F1 acting on the tray 40 acts on the contact portion between the pair of front locking pieces 42F and the first and second front stopper parts 25, 35. When the inertial force F1 is relatively small, the retracted state can be maintained by this contact portion. However, when the inertial force F1 is large, such as during a vehicle collision, in the conventional structure, the pair of front locking pieces 42F may ride up onto the first and second front stopper parts 25, 35, or the pair of front locking pieces 42F may be damaged, which could cause the tray 40 to fly forward (or be pulled out). 【0046】 Based on the above, in the seat under tray 10 according to this embodiment, the strength of the portion of the first rail 20 that supports the tray 40 and the portion of the second rail 30 that supports the tray 40 are intentionally made different. More specifically, by providing the first reinforcing member 37 only on the second rail 30, the strength of the portion of the first rail 20 that supports the tray 40 is made lower than the strength of the portion of the second rail 30 that supports the tray 40. As a result, in the seat under tray 10 according to this embodiment, when the tray 40 moves forward with a large inertial force F1, the first rail 20 is intentionally deformed to suppress the forward movement of the tray 40. 【0047】 More specifically, when an inertial force F1 acts on the seat under tray 10 according to this embodiment, the seat under tray 10 operates as follows. That is, a large inertial force F1 generated by a vehicle collision or the like acts on the tray 40 as described above, and acts on the contact portion between the pair of front latching pieces 42F and the first and second front stopper portions 25 and 35. 【0048】 Here, the portion of the second main rail 31 that supports the tray 40, including the second front stopper portion 35, has increased strength in the front-rear direction due to the attachment of the first reinforcing member 37. On the other hand, the portion of the first main rail 21 that supports the tray 40, including the first front stopper portion 25, does not have the first reinforcing member 37 attached, and therefore has lower strength than the second main rail 31 and can be deformed relatively easily. Consequently, when an inertial force F1 acts on the contact portion between the pair of front latching pieces 42F and the first and second front stopper portions 25 and 35, the first main rail 21 will deform. 【0049】 When the first main rail 21 deforms, the second main rail 31 does not deform because its strength is increased by the first reinforcing member 37. Therefore, the tray 40 rotates around the second front stopper portion 35 (in the direction shown by arrow F2 in Figure 5) in conjunction with the deformation of the first main rail 21. In other words, the inertial force F1 acting forward is converted into a rotational force F2. Therefore, the tray 40 is not pulled forward, and forward movement is suppressed. 【0050】 In addition, when the tray 40 rotates in the direction of arrow F2 while deforming the first main rail 21, it moves to the position shown by the dotted line in Figure 5, for example. When the tray 40 moves to this position, the first rail section 22, which is pushed by the tray 40, also deforms, so that the first rail section 22 and the second rail section 32 are no longer substantially parallel. Therefore, the tray 40 in the above state can no longer slide along the rail. This also prevents the tray 40 from being pulled forward. 【0051】 As can be seen from the series of operations described above, in the seat under tray 10 according to this embodiment, by making the strength of the two rails different, the tray 40 will not be pulled forward even when the inertial force F1 is large. 【0052】 As described above, in the case of a collision from the front of a vehicle, it is easy for a person skilled in the art to understand that even when a vehicle is hit from behind, the first main rail 21 can deform, thereby changing the direction of the inertial force. Therefore, a detailed explanation of the case when a vehicle is hit from behind will be omitted. In this embodiment, a tray 40 that can be pulled out in two directions, forward and backward, is shown as an example, but it may also be possible to pull it out in only one direction, either forward or backward. 【0053】 In the embodiment described above, an example was given in which the second rail 30 has higher strength than the first rail 20 by providing the first reinforcing member 37 to the second rail 30, but this disclosure is not limited thereto. 【0054】 Specifically, instead of providing the first reinforcing member 37, or in addition to it, the diameter of the first main rail 21 may be made smaller than the diameter of the second main rail 31 to relatively reduce the strength of the first main rail 21. Specifically, by setting the diameter of the rod material constituting the first main rail 21 to 4.0 mm and the diameter of the rod material constituting the second main rail 31 to 5.0 mm, the strength of the first rail 20 can be made lower than the strength of the second rail 30. Note that the parts where the diameter of the rod material is adjusted as described above may be parts of the first and second main rails 21 and 31, as long as a similar effect can be achieved. Alternatively, the strength may be made different by changing the structure of the first main rail 21 and the second main rail 31. 【0055】 Furthermore, in the embodiment described above, a handle 45 is provided along the entire length of the sheet width direction on the front and rear surfaces of the tray body 41 as an example, but the arrangement of the handle 45 is not limited to this. A modified example of the handle will be described below with reference to Figure 6. Note that Figure 6 is identical to the sheet under tray of the embodiment described above, except for the handle 45A portion, so only the main components are denoted by the same reference numerals as in Figure 2, and the descriptions of each part will be the same as described above. 【0056】 Figure 6 is a schematic perspective view showing a modified example of a seat under tray according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. In the seat under tray of the present disclosure, as shown in Figure 6, it is preferable to provide the handles 45A at the front and rear of the tray 40, at positions adjacent to the second rail 30 rather than the first rail 20. By positioning the handles 45A closer to the second rail 30 in this way, the force applied when the operator pulls out the tray 40 is less likely to be transmitted to the first rail 20, thereby preventing the first rail 20 from being deformed by the force applied when the tray 40 is pulled out. 【0057】 This disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described above, and can be implemented with various modifications without departing from the spirit of this disclosure.
