Claims

1. The device comprises a metal plate and a silicone rubber layer laminated on the surface of the metal plate. The above silicone rubber layer contains a flame-retardant silicone rubber compound and a fibrous flame retardant. The above flame-retardant silicone rubber compound is a laminate that meets the UL94 standard V-0 or higher.

2. The laminate according to claim 1, wherein, if the content of the flame-retardant silicone rubber compound in the silicone rubber layer is 100 parts by weight, the content of the fibrous flame retardant is 10 to 80 parts by weight.

3. The laminate according to claim 1, comprising one or more fibrous flame retardants selected from the group consisting of artificial mineral fibers and natural mineral fibers.

4. The above-mentioned fiber-based flame retardant contains the above-mentioned artificial mineral fibers, The laminate according to claim 3, wherein the above-mentioned artificial mineral fibers include rock wool.

5. The laminate according to claim 1, wherein the content of the flame-retardant silicone rubber compound in the silicone rubber layer is 50% by weight or more.

6. An insulating material comprising a laminate according to any one of claims 1 to 5.

7. A battery comprising two or more cells, an insulating material according to claim 6, and a container, The two or more cells and the insulating material are stored in the container described above. The insulating material described above is arranged to divide the container into two or more compartments. A battery in which the two or more cells described above are arranged in two or more of the two or more compartments described above.

8. A process to obtain rubber-coated metal by forming a layer of rubber liquid on the surface of a metal plate, The process involves drying the above rubber liquid layer, The process includes a step of applying a heat press to the dried rubber-coated metal, The above rubber liquid contains a flame-retardant silicone rubber compound and a fiber-based flame retardant. The above flame-retardant silicone rubber compound is V-0 or higher according to the UL94 standard, and the method for manufacturing a laminate.

9. The method for manufacturing a laminate according to claim 8, wherein the heating temperature in the above heating press is 150 to 230°C and the pressure is 15 to 25 MPa.

10. The method for manufacturing a laminate according to claim 8 or 9, wherein the thickness of the resulting laminate is adjusted by arranging spacers around the rubber-coated metal in the above-mentioned heating press.
