Mounting assembly for traffic cameras and other traffic control devices

A mounting assembly for supporting a traffic camera or other traffic control device high above traffic. The assembly includes a conventional camera bracket, a vertical pole of at least two inches in diameter, an adapter for attaching the camera bracket to the top of the pole, and a mounting bracket for attaching the pole to the mast arm or other support. The bracket includes an adapter plate by which the pole can be rotated relative to the support so the camera can be mounted on either a vertical or a horizontal support structure. The bracket also includes a clamp that attaches to the support structure by a three point attachment. This versatile mounting assembly can support a traffic control device 10-15 feet above the mast arm or other support, without significant movement of the pole relative to the bracket or of the bracket relative to the support.

Computer server mounting apparatus

A mounting apparatus is provided for mounting a computer server in a server rack structure. The server rack defines a first and second mounting apertures. A slide is provided having a bracket mounted to one end thereof. The bracket includes a first wall abutting the rack, and a second wall transverse to the first wall. A portion of the bracket extends into the first mounting aperture. A latch is mounted on the second wall of the bracket. The latch is movable between a first position wherein the latch extends into the second mounting aperture, and a second position wherein the latch does not extend into the mounting aperture. The latch cooperates with the portion of the bracket extending into the first mounting aperture to limit vertical movement of the bracket with respect to the rack.

In one embodiment, a system for collision avoidance includes at least one sensor adapted to sense an object above a lift device and a controller linked to the at least one sensor and linked to the drive components of the device and adapted to interrupt operation of the lift drive when the lift device approaches or touches the object. The present invention pertains to a removable clip that stabilizes a hanger mounted on a slatwall assembly formed by a number of horizontally aligned and uniformly spaced slats or boards. The upper and lower end of each slat has a lip with an inside surface, so that adjacent slats form a slot with a narrow outer portion and a wider inner portion. The hanger has an upper end that is inserted into an upper slot, and a lower end that hangs down near a lower adjacent slot. The stabilizing clip has a main body and an extending brace. The body is shaped to firmly snap fit into the lower slot. The brace extends upwardly along a middle slat to form a slot for receiving the lower end of the hanger and retaining it against the surface of the middle slat. In a second embodiment, the clip also includes a riser for supporting the lower end of the hanger and positioning the hanger so that its upper end more fully engages the inside surface of the lip of an upper slat.

Clamp assembly

A clamp assembly for installation at any position along the length of a slot defined by surfaces of a host structure or other structure. The clamp assembly either can receive a mounting rod for supporting objects or can itself include a mounting rod for supporting objects. In one embodiment the clamp assembly includes a two-piece clamp body composed of a pair of opposing substantially mirror-image jaws each having an inner surface with an arcuate channel and a tooth juxtaposing the arcuate channel. The arcuate channels cooperate to accept and frictionally engage a mounting rod to be affixed to the host structure, and the teeth are for entering into a slot defined by surfaces of the host structure. A tightening member is provided for forcing the jaws together. In an alternate embodiment the clamp assembly includes a one-piece clamp body and a mounting rod. The one-piece clamp body includes engagement tabs for entering into a slot defined by surfaces of the host structure and a threaded hole for receiving a threaded end of the mounting rod, which serves as a tightening member.
