The invention discloses an anti-falling protection device of an elevator. The device comprises a vertical acceleration sensor, a controller, a storage battery, fixed rails, fixing rods and retractable motors, wherein the vertical acceleration sensor is disposed on the top of an elevator car, the fixed rails are arranged on the two sides of an elevator shaft, the fixing rods and the retractable motors are arranged on the side walls of the elevator car, and the fixed rails are evenly provided with multiple fixing holes. The controller is connected with the vertical acceleration sensor, the storage battery and the retractable motors, each retractable motor is connected with one end of the corresponding fixing rod, and the other end of each fixing rod corresponds to the corresponding fixing hole in the corresponding fixed rail in position. The two sides of the elevator shaft are provided with the fixed rails and the fixing rods, so that falling of the elevator can be prevented to some extent when the elevator is overweight and descends. Meanwhile, the vertical acceleration sensor is arranged so as to precisely detect the descending speed and the ascending speed of the elevator, operation of the elevator is better detected, operation safety of the elevator is increased, and the anti-falling protection device is worth popularization.

Method for providing fall protection for a load in an elevated environment

Improvements in fall protection are disclosed, including a method for providing fall protection for human and non-human loads in elevated environments. The load is equipped with a safety harness and lanyard apparatus having first and second lanyards attached thereto. A method is disclosed for providing fall protection for human and non-human loads in an elevated environment wherein the load is primarily supported by an aerial lift vehicle or structure generally adjacent to a second structure. The method includes the steps of: (1) connecting a safety lanyard apparatus to the load, said safety lanyard apparatus including first and second lanyards, each of said first and second lanyards having one end connected to the load and an opposing connectable free end, said first lanyard incorporating a means for automatic release of said connectable free end thereof in response to a predetermined tensional force; (2) connecting said first lanyard connectable free end to the aerial lift vehicle; (3) connecting said second lanyard connectable free end the structure, whereby the application of a tensional force, greater than or equal to a predetermined force, to said first and second lanyard ends results in activation of said means for automatic release thereby separating said connectable free end of said first lanyard from said safety lanyard apparatus thereby leaving said load suspended from said structure.

Vertical-lifting elevator anti-falling protection device

The invention relates to the field of elevator equipment manufacturing technology, and particularly relates to a vertical-lifting elevator anti-falling protection device. The reasons of elevator falling mainly lie in the drop or breakage of a steel wire rope, overload operation, speed measurement and limiting device and equipment failure, and the elevator falling rarely happens. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art, the invention provides a vertical-lifting elevator anti-falling protection device independent from the existing safety guarantee system. The device provided by the invention consists of a brake box embedded into a shaft wall and a fixing rack fixed on the side surface of a car. When an elevator falls, a brake instruction is given manually or by a speed sensor, an electromagnet in the brake box adsorbs a movable slider so that the teeth of the movable slider are meshed with the teeth of the fixing rack, the teeth of the fixing rack collide with the teeth of the movable slider repeatedly, and the impact force of the falling car is absorbed by a spring set; and when the kinetic energy is completely absorbed and the speed approaches to zero, the resistance against the brake box is greater than the total gravity of the car, thus a soft landing process of the car is formed to realize the brake of the car.
