In a method of forming a target error model to facilitate correcting or suggesting corrections to misspelled input text related to a target data collection, a source query log containing user queries to at least one source data collection is provided. Next, target relational data is generated based on the source query log including corrective substring suggestions that relate to the target data collection and corresponding misspelled substrings extracted from the source query log. A target error model is then built using the target relational data. The target error model includes target statistical occurrence data for the substrings of the target relational data derived from the source query log. Finally, the target error model is stored on a computer readable medium. Additional embodiments of the invention are directed to a system configured to implement the method.

Elevated dock

InactiveUS20110146554A1Safely elevate the boat out of the waterDry-dockingAnchorsSalt waterPontoon bridge
An elevated dock designed to lift boats out of the water when not in use is provided because storing a boat in the water exposes the boat to contaminants in both fresh and salt water. These contaminants attach to the bottom of the boat severely impeding the performance of the boat. Cleaning these contaminants off of the boat is time consuming and costly. Repeated cleaning of the boat will eventually result in damage to the hull. The elevated dock uses polymer to form adjustable pontoons that can easily be fitted to a variety of sizes and styles of boats. An embodiment of the elevated dock uses an articulated set of pontoons for lifting sailboats. The elevated dock can be deployed completely independent of the dock, eliminating unwanted stress to the dock. The unique gusset design, free-floating feature, articulated pontoon option coupled with the unique manner in which the pontoon length, width and volume can be adjusted for various boat types and sizes.

Watercraft dry storage and storage method

The watercraft dry storage assembly includes two generally cylindrical bladders that are inflated to lift a boat from the water and hold the hull in a raised position. Each bladder is made from a scrim encased in a flexible plastic. The scrim is substantially non-stretchable. Air fills the bladders until each inch of bladder material is tensioned in a direction parallel to a long axis of the bladder by a force of at least 5 pounds and in a transverse direction by a force of at least 10 pounds. A plurality of straps encircle each bladder. Rings on the ends of each strap are connected by coupler assemblies to secure both bladders together. The straps are attached to the bladders in selected positions along the length of the bladders.

Semi-submersible dry-docking lift apparatus

A portable marine lift capable of multi-directional off-loading of yachts, ships, and other marine vessels at ground level to dry-dock them. It is compact and barge-like, and can be shared by independent shipyards, or used to expand the work area within a single port facility or shipyard. It is also self-contained when fitted with generators and / or propulsion means via add-on pods, and comprises independent platform sections joined together to meet any hull design, length and water depth. Platform sections have the ability to submerge, and may also be employed to capture and temporarily contain environmentally hazardous materials commonly produced by shipyards. In addition, the platform sections are preferably open-framed for weight savings. Computerized lifting, via multiple lift modules secured to platform sections, assures lifting of vessels in substantially level orientation. Optionally, platform sections can be configured for shallow water operation, with locking devices, and / or guides usable for off-loading railway alignment.

Boat lift canopy assembly

A boat lift canopy comprises a truss type framework with a base frame. Joined to the base frame and circumscribed by it is a tie tube frame, which may be discontinuous. A fabric cover, which in preferred embodiments is decorative as well as functional, snugly encloses the outside of the framework, wraps around the base frame and is secured to the tie tube frame. The boat lift canopy is held above the boat lift vertical members, which in some embodiments are vertical extensions of the legs of the boat lift. Advantageously, the canopy is releasably coupled to the vertical members at the tie tube frame, thereby enabling simple adjustment of the position of the canopy with respect to the vertical members, permitting adjustment of canopy overhang or length with ease. Embodiments of the canopy allow adjustment of the length of the canopy by the addition of frame members extending the canopy framework, such adjustment facilitated by the releasable coupling of the canopy to the vertical members. The framework of the canopy employs an improved truss design such as Howe Kingpost to maximize framework strength, thereby enhancing endurance of the canopy and permitting substantial cantilevered canopy overhangs.

Roller assembly for floating dock

A roller assembly facilitates travel of a watercraft hull on a floating dock having a longitudinal, keel-receiving valley with a pair of flanking ridges supporting opposite sides of the hull during docking and launching of the craft. Pockets in the ridges contain wheels mounted on circumferential planes parallel to the ridges for rotation on axles seated in the pockets. The upper portions of the wheels protrude above the crests of the ridges and the axle end bearing portions cooperate with the seats in the pockets to list the circumferential planes toward the valley and approximately perpendicular to the hull sides. For optimal performance, two or more roller assemblies can be arranged in-line and spaced apart longitudinally in each of the ridges. A brake stops the docking motion of the watercraft onto the dock. Multiple docks can be serially connected without use of special tools or underwater assembly steps.

Deck or dock float

A float which may be utilized individually or which may be joined to other such floats or used with other elements to provide flotation for a deck or dock unit. Though the particular shapes and attributes of the float may vary for the particular use, the basic float consists of a hollow, preferably rotocast, unit which combines an exterior skin with attachment accommodations having a selectable top surface and a first and second flotation concept. The first flotation is provided by the buoyancy of the hollow structure with the second achieved through a plurality of selectively shaped and positioned cavities extending upwardly from the bottom surface of the float to a location at or adjacent the upper surface of the float. With this dual flotation provision, should the exterior skin of the float be pierced, allowing water to fill the interior thereof, flotation is provided by air entrapment within the formed cavities. The float provides for selective upper surface arrangements dependent upon the desire of the user and may include a flat, or otherwise formed surface.
