Abstract

This control system for a saddled vehicle comprises: an estimation means for estimating, on the basis of a first force from an obstacle acting on a front wheel of the saddled vehicle, a second force from the obstacle acting on a rear wheel of the saddled vehicle; and a control means for controlling, when the rear wheel is affected by the obstacle and on the basis of the estimation result from the estimation means, a rear suspension mechanism that supports the rear wheel. The estimation means estimates, as the second force, a force that is converted from the first force in accordance with the difference in the state of the saddled vehicle when the front wheel is affected by the obstacle and when the rear wheel is affected by the obstacle.
