Therefore, it is undesirable for contaminants to be attached to the remote control device while the injection device is in use. [0014] As shown in FIG. 1 , the storage bag 10 includes a storage section 11 for storing an item HS and a string 12 connected to the storage section 11. The string 12 is formed around the storage section 11. The storage section 11 and the string 12 are integrally formed from the same material. For example, the storage bag 10 is formed by fusing two sheets of film material together to form a bag. Alternatively, the storage bag 10 may be integrated by adhesive or other methods. As an example, the storage bag 10 is formed from a flexible material (e.g., polyethylene film) that is foldable and has a silk-like embossed finish. The storage bag 10 is optically transparent so that the stored item HS can be seen from the outside. The storage bag 10 is sheet-like when the opening OP is closed, and the front and back surfaces have the same shape.
[0015] Alternatively, the storage bag 10 may not be embossed. However, embossing facilitates the removal of contaminants, such as blood, adhering to the storage bag 10. Blood on the outside of the storage bag 10 can easily slip off the hand, but removing the blood can prevent this. At least the string portion 12 is preferably stretchable. This allows the stretched string portion 12 to contract due to its elasticity and close the opening OP after the storage section 11 is inserted into the gap formed by the twisted string portion 12 (FIG. 8). The string portion 12 may also be made of a different material from the storage section 11. In this case, the string portion 12 is attached to the storage section 11 by welding, adhesive, or other methods. One example of a material for the string portion 12 is silicone rubber.
[0016] The storage compartment 11 has an opening OP that serves as an entrance for inserting the item HS. A substantially U-shaped string portion 12 is formed on the side of the storage bag 10 opposite the opening OP of the storage compartment 11. Alternatively, the outer shape of the string portion 12 may be rectangular. Even in this shape, a gap is formed by twisting the string portion 12. A cutout portion 13 for forming a hole is present between the storage compartment 11 and the string portion 12. This cutout portion 13 remains on the backing 17 (FIG. 2) when the storage bag 10 is peeled off from the backing 17. This forms a hole between the storage compartment 11 and the string portion 12. Furthermore, a substantially circular rounded end portion that is wider than the cutout portion 13 is formed at both ends of the cutout portion 13 on the opening OP side.
[0017] The end 18 of the storage compartment 11 on the opening OP side has a shape that gradually widens toward the opening OP. The end 18 on the opening OP side is the portion that is folded. In other words, the end 18 on the opening OP side corresponds to the area between the opening OP and the portion of the storage compartment 11 that does not surround the item HS. A curved portion CP is formed in the boundary area between the storage compartment 11 and the string portion 12. Furthermore, a sealed portion is formed on the outer periphery of the storage bag 10 excluding the opening OP and on the outer periphery of the cutout portion 13. A linear reinforcement portion 14 and a substantially U-shaped curved reinforcement portion 15 are formed around the rounded end of the cutout portion 13. As an example, the linear reinforcement portion 14 and the curved reinforcement portion 15 are formed by fusion-bonding two films, and are formed in two locations each in the example of FIG. 1. Alternatively, the linear reinforcement portion 14 and the curved reinforcement portion 15 may be formed by adhesive bonding. Furthermore, the linear reinforcement portions 14 and the curved reinforcement portions 15 may be formed by fusing or adhering separate members (for example, films) to the storage portion 11 .
[0018] The linear reinforcement portion 14 separates the string portion 12 from the storage portion 11. Because the film is not fused to the string portion 12, there is a possibility that a portion of the item HS may get caught in the string portion 12 when the item HS is inserted into the storage portion 11. If a portion of the item HS gets caught in the string portion 12, the item HS may get caught on the string portion 12, but the linear reinforcement portion 14 prevents this. Furthermore, the curved reinforcement portion 15 can prevent tearing between the cutout portion 13 and the string portion 12. Alternatively, the film may be fused to the entire string portion 12. In this way, the fused portions function as reinforcement portions corresponding to the linear reinforcement portion 14 and the curved reinforcement portion 15.
[0019] The storage bag 10 is used by peeling it from the storage bag structure 100 shown in FIG. 2 . This storage bag structure 100 includes the storage bag 10 for storing medical items and a backing sheet 17 to which the storage bag 10 is welded. When manufacturing such a storage bag structure 100, two sheets of film material are first placed one on top of the backing sheet 17 ( FIG. 2 ). Then, heat is applied to the two sheets of film material along the outer shape of the storage bag 10 to weld them together. As an example, the welded portion functions as a sealing portion (not shown), and the width of the welded portion is 5 mm. Simultaneously with or after welding, an incision is made along the outer shape of the storage bag 10 to cut the storage bag 10 out of the backing sheet 17. The remaining portion of the film material is then removed from the backing sheet 17. At this time, the cut-out portion 13 remains on the backing sheet 17 along with the storage bag 10. Alternatively, the cut-out portion 13 may be removed from the backing sheet 17. At least a part of the welded portion is welded to the backing paper 17. Thereafter, the backing paper 17 and the storage bag 10 are housed in an outer bag (not shown), and are subjected to ethylene oxide gas sterilization together with the outer bag.
[0020] When in use, the operator removes the backing 17 and storage bag 10 from the outer bag. Then, the operator peels the storage bag 10 from the backing 17 to separate the backing 17 and the storage bag 10. At this time, the cutout portion 13 is left on the backing 17. As an example, the depth of the cutout on the outer periphery of the cutout portion 13 is deeper than the depth of the cutout on the outer periphery of the storage bag 10. This makes it difficult for the cutout portion 13 to peel off from the backing 17, and it is possible to leave only the cutout portion 13 on the backing 17.
[0021] For example, the outer dimension of the storage bag 10 in the longitudinal direction is 300 mm, and the outer dimension in the width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is 200 mm. The outer dimension of the string part 12 in the longitudinal direction is 190 mm, and the outer dimension in the width direction is 130 mm. Furthermore, the diameter of the approximately circular end of the cutout part 13 is 10 mm, and the width of the cutout part 13 is 5 mm.
[0022] [Method of Use] A method of using the storage bag 10 will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 12 . First, as shown in FIG. 2 , the operator widens the opening OP of the storage bag 10 to open an insertion opening for inserting the item HS. Alternatively, the operator may widen the opening OP after peeling the storage bag 10 from the backing 17. Next, as shown in FIG. 3 , the operator inserts the item HS into the storage section 11 through the opening OP. At this time, a hand switch, which is the item HS, is inserted from the switch end and into the space surrounded by the cutout 13. Then, as shown in FIG. 4 , the operator peels the storage bag 10 from the backing 17 to separate the backing 17 and the storage bag 10. At this time, the cutout 13 remains on the backing 17, forming a hole around the storage section 11.
[0023] Next, the operator folds back the end 18 of the storage section 11 on the opening OP side, as shown in FIG. 5 . Alternatively, the operator may twist the end 18 on the opening OP side to close the opening OP. Next, the operator twists the string 12 to cross one side portion 12A of the string 12 with the other side portion 12B of the string 12, as shown in FIG. 6 . Furthermore, the operator twists the string 12 multiple times (e.g., three times) as shown in FIG. 7 . Then, the operator inserts the storage section 11 containing the item HS into the gap formed inside the twisted string 12. Note that the string 12 may be twisted two or four or more times. However, it is necessary to form a gap inside the twisted string 12 large enough to allow the storage section 11 containing the item HS to pass through. Thereafter, when the operator inserts the storage section 11 into the gap formed inside the twisted string section 12 and releases the string section 12, the string section 12 contracts as shown in Figure 8, thereby closing the opening OP of the storage section 11. In other words, the string section 12 is wound around the storage section 11.
[0024] After use, the item HS is removed from the storage bag 10, and the storage bag 10 is discarded. To remove the item HS, the operator first grasps the end 18 on the opening OP side of the storage section 11, as shown in FIG. 9, and pulls it in the direction away from the storage section 11. This causes the string 12 to detach from the storage section 11 and open the opening OP, as shown in FIG. 10. Then, the operator opens the opening OP, as shown in FIG. 11, to expose the end of the item HS opposite the switch to the outside. Then, the operator removes the item HS from the storage bag 10, as shown in FIG. 12. When removing the item HS from the storage bag 10, the removed item HS may be attached to a charger adapter or the like.
[0025] The storage bag 10 described above prevents the stored items HS from becoming contaminated. Furthermore, because the string 12 and the storage compartment 11 are integrally configured, it is not necessary to prepare a closure for closing the opening OP of the storage compartment 11 and store it separately from the storage bag 10. Furthermore, the string 12 has an end portion 12A on one side and an end portion 12B on the other side connected to the storage compartment 11. Claims
1. A storage bag for housing a remote control device wirelessly connected to a medical device, wherein the length in the longitudinal direction and the width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is longer than the length of the remote control device, The storage unit for the remote control device comprises a storage unit that is wound by an expandable member, The storage section has an opening that serves as an entry point for inserting the remote control device, and an end on the side of the opening.
