Description

automatic analyzer

[0001] The present invention relates to an automatic analyzer.

[0002] In recent years, data processing devices provided in automated analyzers have come to be equipped with a wide variety of functions, such as report creation and data management, in addition to controlling the automated analyzer, collecting and analyzing data, and as a result, many operation menus are now displayed on the operation screen. Generally, operation menus are hierarchical, and the display order and layout are all fixed. For this reason, there is no problem if the user is aware of the screen display layout of the operation menus, but if the user is not aware of the layout of the displayed operation menus, they will waste a lot of time searching for the operation menu they want to use.

[0003] Furthermore, depending on the user's work, some operation menus are used frequently and others are used only rarely, and if these operation menus are displayed together, the burden on the user increases even further.

[0004] As a means for solving these problems, Patent Document 1 proposes a method in which the number of times an operation menu is used and the ranking of the number of times that it is used are stored in a storage means for each operator who operates the analytical device, and the operation menus with the highest number of times that they are used are displayed on a display means in order.

[0005] International Publication No. 2012 / 070363

[0006] As described above, according to the disclosure of Patent Document 1, the display priority of operation menus can be changed depending on the frequency of use of each user of the analytical device. However, although the disclosure of Patent Document 1 allows the display priority of operation menus to be changed depending on the frequency of use, the layout of the operation menus cannot be changed. Therefore, even if operation menus with higher priority are displayed in order, some users may find it difficult to recognize them. Furthermore, users cannot customize the display of the operation menus by dividing them into items from the wide variety of options available.

[0007] An automatic analyzer that is one embodiment of the present invention is an automatic analyzer that is equipped with one or more analysis modules that analyze samples, and has a data processing device that accepts user operation instructions, and the data processing device is configured to be able to display on a display device an operation menu screen that displays a hierarchically defined operation menu for the automatic analyzer, and a shortcut screen on which a plurality of shortcut buttons for performing specific operations included in the operation menu are arranged, and when a shortcut button for performing a specified operation is selected on the shortcut screen, the data processing device performs the specified operation included in the operation menu screen, and the arrangement of the shortcut buttons on the shortcut screen is determined by the user.

[0008] By enabling the automatic analyzer to be operated from a shortcut screen on which shortcut buttons for executing specific operations selected and laid out by the user are arranged, operation time can be shortened and the convenience of the automatic analyzer can be improved. Other objects and novel features will become apparent from the description of this specification and the accompanying drawings.

[0010] Hereinafter, the embodiments will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0011] An outline of the basic configuration of an automatic analyzer will be described using Figure 1. Note that the basic configuration described here is an example and is not limited to this. The automatic analyzer 100 is an apparatus that measures a reaction liquid obtained by reacting a sample with a reagent, and is mainly equipped with a sample transport mechanism 105, a reaction disk 112, a reagent disk 110, a sample dispensing mechanism 101, a reagent dispensing mechanism 107, a stirring mechanism 114, measurement units (108, 109), a cleaning mechanism 106, a controller 102, and a data processing device 103. Here, the sample refers to a patient's blood, urine, or the like.

[0012] Sample analysis processing by the automated analyzer 100 is generally performed in the following order: First, a rack 104 is placed in a loading device or the like, and is then carried to the sample dispensing position of the automated analyzer 100 by the sample transport mechanism 105 in response to instructions from the data processing device 103. When the rack 104 arrives at the sample dispensing position, the sample dispensing mechanism 101 dispenses the sample into reaction vessels 113 on the reaction disk 112. The sample dispensing mechanism 101 dispenses the sample as many times as necessary depending on the analysis items requested for that sample. Meanwhile, the reagent dispensing mechanism 107 dispenses reagent to be used in the analysis from reagent bottles 111 on the reagent disk 110 into the reaction vessels 113 from which the sample was previously dispensed. Next, the stirring mechanism 114 stirs the reaction solution prepared by mixing the sample and reagent in the reaction vessels 113. Thereafter, light emitted from the light source 108 is transmitted through the reaction vessel 113 containing the stirred reaction solution, and the luminous intensity of the transmitted light is measured by the spectrophotometer 109. The luminous intensity measured by the spectrophotometer 109 is sent to the controller 102. The controller 102 performs calculations to determine the concentration of a predetermined component in the sample, and displays the result on a display device or the like or stores it in the data processing device 103.

[0013] 2 shows a schematic diagram of the data processing device 103. A personal computer 201 is generally used as the data processing device 103. The personal computer 201 includes a CPU 202 that processes data, a RAM 203 that provides a temporary data storage area, and a storage device 204 that provides a data saving area. The personal computer 201 is also connected to a display 205 such as an LCD monitor and an input device 206 such as a keyboard or mouse. Integrated software is installed in the storage device 204. The integrated software is software that enables the user to operate the automated analyzer, and one of its functions is to display a GUI (graphical user interface) on the display 205 and provide an interface for the user to operate the automated analyzer via, for example, a mouse or keyboard.

[0014] First, the user launches the integrated software stored in the storage device 204 via the input device 206. When the integrated software is launched, a logon screen 300 shown in FIG. 3 is displayed on the display 205. The user operates the input device 206 to input an operator ID in an operator ID input box 301 and a password in a password input box 302. After that, when the user selects the logon button 303, an operation menu for the data processing device 103 is displayed. The user is primarily a system administrator, an analytical method (method) developer, an operator, or the like. Note that the logon screen 300 requests the user to input a password in order to enhance security, and password input is not necessarily required. The operation menu screen displayed after logon can be different for each operator ID.

[0015] FIG. 4 shows an example of an operation menu screen of the integrated software that is displayed after a user logs on. The operation menu screen 400 includes a main tab area 401, a subtab area 402, an operation menu area 403, and a selection button 404. The main tab area 401 and the subtab area 402 are toolbars on which operation menus are arranged. The subtab area 402 displays a subtab corresponding to the main tab selected in the main tab area 401. The operation menu area 403 displays an operation menu corresponding to the subtab selected in the subtab area 402. The operation menu includes, for example, performing maintenance and setting parameters for analysis conditions. In FIG. 4 , "Utility" is selected in the main tab area 401 and "Maintenance" is selected in the subtab area 402, and specific maintenance items are displayed in the operation menu area 403. For example, if a user wants to perform reagent priming during maintenance, the user selects "Maintenance" from the maintenance type and "Reagent Prime" from the maintenance name in the operation menu area 403 and then selects the selection button 404. This transition to the operation execution screen of FIG. 5 is displayed.

[0016] In addition to the toolbar displayed on the operation menu screen 400, the operation execution screen 500 displays an execution screen corresponding to the selected subtab. The reagent prime operation execution screen 500 displays an execution module selection screen 501. The user selects the module to be executed from the execution module selection screen 501 and selects the execute button 502. In this case, the electrolyte analysis module (ISE) is selected, and the reagent prime operation is executed for the electrolyte analysis module. On the other hand, if the cancel button 503 is selected, the module selection is canceled and the screen transitions to the operation menu screen 400.

[0017] As described above, to operate an automated analyzer, it is common to navigate through a hierarchical menu to select and execute an operation menu. In contrast, in the automated analyzer of this embodiment, a shortcut tab 405 is provided in the main tab area 401 of the operation menu screen 400 (see FIG. 4). In the automated analyzer of this embodiment, a user can create shortcuts for frequently used operations and use the shortcuts from a shortcut screen accessed from the shortcut tab 405. This shortcut screen can be customized for each user, further enhancing user convenience.

[0018] First, a method for registering a shortcut will be described. When the shortcut tab 405 is selected from the operation menu screen 400 (see FIG. 4), the screen transitions to the shortcut screen. An example of the shortcut screen 600 is shown in FIG. 6. The user can use the shortcut screen 600 to register / cancel shortcuts and perform operations registered as shortcuts.

[0019] The shortcut screen 600 displays the toolbar displayed on the operation menu screen 400 and a group of shortcut buttons arranged in a matrix. The shortcut screen 600 includes toolbars 401 and 402, coordinate information 602, a shortcut button 603, a shortcut registration button 604, and a deregistration button 605. Sheet tabs 601 are displayed in the subtab area 402, and selecting one of the sheet tabs 601 allows switching between the matrix of shortcut buttons 603 arranged based on the coordinate information 602. Note that none of the shortcut buttons 603 in FIG. 6 have shortcuts registered, so nothing is displayed on the shortcut buttons. Selecting the shortcut registration button 604 transitions to the shortcut registration screen shown in FIG. 7A.

[0020] The shortcut registration screen 700 shown in Fig. 7A includes a registration shortcut display area 701, a first registration method selection button 702, a sheet name selection button 703, a coordinate information (X coordinate) selection button 704, a coordinate information (Y coordinate) selection button 705, and a registration button 706. Fig. 7A shows the screen before detailed information is entered. The first registration method selection button 702 is a button for executing a registration method that selects an operation to register as a shortcut from an operation menu, and when the user selects the first registration method selection button 702, the screen transitions to the shortcut addition screen shown in Fig. 8.

[0021] The shortcut addition screen 800 is a screen for selecting an operation menu and displays the same operation menu as the operation menu screen 400. The user selects the operation they want to register as a shortcut from the main tab area 401, subtab area 402, or operation menu area 403, and then selects the Add button 801. The integrated software stores in the storage device 204 an operation log in which the user selects the operation menu performed by the user on the shortcut addition screen 800. At the same time, as shown in FIG. 7B , the name of the operation selected on the shortcut addition screen 800 (in this example, "Reagent Prime") is displayed in the registered shortcut display area 701. Then, as shown in FIG. 7B , the user selects the sheet to be registered using the sheet name selection button 703, and the coordinate information (X coordinate) selection button 704 and the coordinate information (Y coordinate) selection button 705, each using a pull-down menu. Finally, by selecting the register button 706, the shortcut button is linked to the operation log stored in the storage device 204, completing the registration of the shortcut button.

[0022] By selecting the registration button 706 in FIG. 7B, a reagent prime operation is registered in the shortcut button at coordinates (A, 1) on sheet 1. This is shown in FIG. 9A. An operation name indicating the registered content is displayed on the shortcut button (registered) 901 at coordinates (A, 1) on sheet 1. By selecting the shortcut button (registered) 901, the user executes processing of the associated operation log and transitions to the execution screen shown in FIG. 5. In other words, the series of operations described in FIG. 4, such as selecting an operation from the main tab area 401, subtab area 402, and operation menu area 403 and selecting the selection button 404, can be omitted. FIG. 9B shows the data structure of shortcut data 910 created by the above process. The shortcut data 910 is stored in the storage device 204. The operator ID of the user who created the shortcut is registered in the operator ID 911, and the sheet 912, X coordinate 913, Y coordinate 914, and operation name 915 respectively register the contents selected in the sheet name selection button 703, coordinate information (X coordinate) selection button 704, coordinate information (Y coordinate) selection button 705, and registered shortcut display area 701 on the shortcut registration screen 700. The operation log 916 may register a corresponding operation log, or may register the address of the storage device 204 in which the operation log is stored.

[0023] After selecting the deregistration button 605, the registration can be cancelled by selecting the shortcut button (registered) 901. In this case, the information about the shortcut is also deleted from the shortcut data 910.

[0024] FIG. 16 shows a flowchart for generating a registered shortcut button. This flowchart is executed by the integrated software. The operator ID entered on the logon screen 300 (see FIG. 3) is determined (S01). When the shortcut tab 405 is selected from the operation menu screen 400 (see FIG. 4), the system transitions to the shortcut screen 600 (see FIG. 6) (S02). When the shortcut registration button 604 is selected, the system transitions to the shortcut registration screen 700 (see FIG. 7A) (S03). When the first registration method selection button 702 is selected, the system transitions to the shortcut addition screen 800 (S04), where the user selects the operation to be registered (S05). The operation log on the shortcut addition screen 800 is stored in the storage device 204 (S06), and the selected operation name is displayed in the registered shortcut display area 701 of the shortcut registration screen 700 (S07). Furthermore, the system accepts the user's input of a sheet name and coordinate information on the shortcut registration screen 700 (FIG. 7B) (S08-S10). When the user selects the registration button 706, the display position of the shortcut button and the operation to be registered are confirmed (S11). On the shortcut screen 600, the shortcut button (registered) displays the registered operation name (S12, see FIG. 9A).

[0025] In this way, by executing an operation from the shortcut button (registered) 901, the effort of searching for an operation from the main tab area 401, subtab area 402, and operation menu area 403 can be reduced, resulting in a time-saving effect for users who are not familiar with screen operations. Furthermore, since the layout of shortcut buttons can be specified based on the coordinate information 602, shortcut buttons can be freely laid out. For example, the user's ingenuity can improve visibility by arranging related buttons side by side. Furthermore, as shown in shortcut data 910 (see FIG. 9B ), shortcuts are created for each user, so the shortcut screen can be displayed in a layout specific to the operator ID entered on the log-on screen.

[0026] The method for registering a shortcut is not limited to the above, and other methods for registering a shortcut will be described below.

[0027] FIG. 10 is another example of a shortcut registration screen. The shortcut registration screen 700b includes a second registration method selection button 1001 in addition to the shortcut registration screen shown in FIG. 7A. The user creates a registration list in which operation logs are registered in advance. By selecting the second registration method selection button 1001, the operations registered in the registration list are associated with shortcut buttons. When the second registration method selection button 1001 is selected, the screen transitions to a shortcut registration list screen 1100 shown in FIG. 11A. The shortcut registration list screen 1100 includes a registration list 1101 and a selection button 1102. The registration list 1101 displays a list of operations added by the user for shortcut registration. The list of operations is displayed based on operation log registration data 1110 created in advance by the user. FIG. 11B shows the data structure of the operation log registration data 1110. The operator ID 1111 is the operator ID of the user who created the operation log registration data, the date and time 1112 is the creation date and time, the operation name 1113 is the selected operation name, and the operation log 1114 may register the corresponding operation log or the address of the storage device 204 in which the operation log is stored.

[0028] To add a new operation to the operation log registration data 1110, the operation log stored in the RAM 203 is used when the user selects an operation menu on the operation menu screen 400. This is shown in FIG. 12 . When the user selects an operation menu from the main tab area 401, subtab area 402, or operation menu area 403, the user right-clicks the mouse, which is the input device 206, on the operation menu. The user selects the Add Registration button 1201, which is displayed by the right-click. This operation causes the operation log of the selected operation to be stored in the storage device 204, and the information can be added to the operation log registration data 1110. In this way, each time the user performs an operation on the operation menu screen 400, the user selectively adds an operation log to the operation log registration data 1110 for the operation for which the user wishes to register a shortcut.

[0029] The added operation is selected from the registration list 1101 on the shortcut registration list screen 1100 (see FIG. 11A) and displayed in the registered shortcut display area 701 on the shortcut registration screen 700b (see FIG. 10) by selecting the selection button 1102. Thereafter, the sheet name and coordinate information are entered, and the registration button 706 is selected to complete the registration of the shortcut button.

[0030] In this registration method, shortcuts can be registered based on operations on a normal operation menu screen, thereby improving the operability of shortcut registration.

[0031] Another shortcut registration method will now be described, in which the integrated software prompts the user to register a shortcut.

[0032] FIG. 13 shows another example of a shortcut registration screen. The shortcut registration screen 700c includes a third registration method selection button 1301 in addition to the shortcut registration screen shown in FIG. 10. The integrated software automatically stores an operation log related to the user's operation menu selection on the operation menu screen 400 in the storage device 204, and creates operation log registration data. The data structure of the operation log registration data may be the same as the data structure shown in FIG. 11B. When the third registration method selection button 1301 is selected, the screen transitions to a shortcut registration list screen 1400 shown in FIG. 14. The shortcut registration list screen 1400 includes an operation history list 1401, an operation date and time search 1402, a display count search 1403, a reflect button 1404, and a select button 1405. The operation history list 1401 displays a list of the user's operation history stored as operation log registration data in the storage device 204. Thereafter, by selecting the operation for which you want to register a shortcut from the operation history list 1401 and pressing the select button 1405, the operation will be displayed in the registered shortcut display area 701 of the shortcut registration screen 700c (see FIG. 13). Thereafter, by entering the sheet name and coordinate information and pressing the register button 706, the registration of the shortcut button is completed.

[0033] The operation history list 1401 on the shortcut registration list screen 1400 also has a filter function. For example, by setting a filter in the operation name tab in FIG. 14 , it is possible to display each operation separately. This makes it possible to visualize which operations are used most frequently. An operation date and time search function 1402 is also provided, which allows the user to enter start and end dates and times and select the reflect button 1404 to display the operation history for a specified time period. This makes it possible to extract and display frequently used operations by the user by time period, thereby increasing the options for shortcuts to be registered. Furthermore, a display number search function 1403 is also provided, which allows the number of items to be displayed to be specified. By using this in combination with the filter function of the operation history list 1401 and the operation date and time search 1402, the user's search ability can be further improved.

[0034] This registration method allows the user to select a shortcut to register from their operation history, thereby expanding the options for shortcut registration.

[0035] In the above embodiment, one shortcut button 603 is described as being capable of registering one operation. In an automated analyzer, various maintenance tasks, management of measurement results, registration of remaining amounts of each reagent, calibration measurements, control measurements, etc. are required before measurements can begin, and the integrated software operations are diverse. Depending on the operation, there may be items for which the device needs to be operated continuously without stopping. Therefore, it would be convenient if multiple operations could be performed in sequence with one shortcut button.

[0036] FIG. 15 shows an example of a shortcut registration screen that allows multiple operations to be performed consecutively using a single shortcut button. The shortcut registration screen 700d includes a registered shortcut list 1501 including the execution order and a cancel button 1502, in addition to the shortcut registration screen shown in FIG. 13 . The names of the operations to be registered as shortcuts are added to the registered shortcut list 1501 using the first to third registration method selection buttons 702, 1001, and 1301. The names of the operations added to the registered shortcut list 1501 are then selected, and the execution order is specified in the execution order tab (1 if the first operation, 2 if the second operation). To cancel an operation added to the registered shortcut list 1501, the user selects the name of the operation to be canceled and selects the cancel button 1502. The user then enters the sheet name and coordinate information and selects the register button 706, completing the registration of a shortcut button that can perform a series of operations consecutively.

[0037] This registration method eliminates the need to perform multiple operations from the main tab area 401, subtab area 402, and operation menu area 403, or the need to select multiple shortcut buttons (registered) 901, thereby improving user operability.

[0038] Below, a modified example that improves user convenience will be described.

[0039] In the above embodiment, an example of registering a shortcut button by transitioning between input screens has been described. The method of transitioning between input screens is not limited to the above. For example, the shortcut button (before registration) 603 arranged on the shortcut screen 600 (see FIG. 6 ) may be transitioned to the shortcut registration screen 700 (see FIG. 7A ) by, for example, double-clicking with a mouse. In this case, the coordinate information of the sheet tab 601 and the shortcut button (before registration) 603 may be stored in the shortcut data 910 (see FIG. 9B ), and the sheet name 703 and coordinate information 704 and 705 on the shortcut registration screen 700 may be automatically entered. This modification allows the user to visually directly select the location (coordinates) to be registered and register the shortcut while reducing the operation time on the shortcut registration screen 700.

[0040] 12 shows an example in which, in order to add an operation log to the operation log registration data 1110, the right click of the mouse is selected to display the Add Registration button 1201. This operation method can also be substituted by a long press on the operation menu or by providing a button equivalent to the Add Registration button 1201 on the operation menu itself. For example, the input device 206 is not limited to a mouse, and a touch panel on a monitor may also be used. Since the input device 206 used varies depending on the device and the operating user, providing an easy-to-operate method for each device and operating user can achieve the effect of further improving operability.

[0041] In the above embodiment, shortcut buttons are used to perform operations on the automated analyzer, such as maintenance. However, there are cases in which the automated analyzer requires only integrated software operations, such as managing measurement results, inputting calibration and control request information, and registering sample measurement items, without actually operating the analyzer itself. Since such operations are also performed by opening screens from the main tab area 401, subtab area 402, and operation menu area 403, shortcuts can be created in the same way. In this way, by allowing the shortcut button (registered) 901 to be registered not only with functions for performing device operations but also with functions for transitioning to screens, it is possible to reduce the time required to open a screen from the operation menu.

[0042] This also applies to the registration of multiple operations described using Figure 15, and by registering a shortcut that combines device operations and screen transition operations, the effect of further improving user operability can be obtained.

[0043] 9A shows an example in which an operation name indicating the registered content is displayed on the shortcut button (registered) 901. Furthermore, the color of the shortcut button (registered) 901 may be changeable on the shortcut screen 600. For example, the color scheme may be changed according to the frequency of use per month, per week, or per day. This improves user visibility.

[0044] It may also be possible to change the names of the shortcut button (registered) 901 and the sheet tab 601. This allows the shortcut selection screen to be customized, which has the effect of improving user operability.

[0045] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments and includes various modifications. For example, the above-described embodiments and modifications have been described in detail to make the present invention easier to understand, and are not necessarily limited to those including all of the described configurations.
