The present disclosure relates to suitably providing cognitive behavioral therapy while reducing difficulties or pain associated with the recording of patient conditions (including, e.g., the time and effort for remembering the scene of the onset of a symptom, and the likelihood of vagueness or distortion when remembering the scene of the onset of a symptom). The present disclosure is a cognitive behavioral therapy support method implemented in a computer, the method comprising: recording, over a certain period, a symptom or state of a patient and at least one piece of categorical information from among contributing factor, the presence / absence of medication and / or the details thereof, early signs, date / time, handling method, influences, and location; on the basis of a record of the symptom or state and the categorical information, generating and providing the patient with information for looking back on the situation in which symptoms occurred in the past; providing the patient with information for learning the symptoms or state of the patient; and providing the patient with information promoting cognitive behavioral therapy.
