Abstract

The present invention improves the frequency characteristics of an elastic wave device. A first electrode finger includes a first region facing a tip portion of a second electrode finger in a first direction, and a second region positioned closer to the tip side of the first electrode finger than the first region. The first region includes a first area portion in which the cross-sectional area when cut along the first direction in a plan view is a first area. The second region includes a second area portion in which the cross-sectional area when cut along the first direction in a plan view is a second area. The first area is smaller than the second area.
