Abstract

The present invention provides an allergen-reducing agent having an excellent allergen-reducing effect. An allergen-reducing agent according to the present invention is characterized by containing magnesium oxide as an active ingredient and preferably containing at least one kind of magnesium oxide selected from the group consisting of light-burned magnesium oxide, heavy-burned magnesium oxide, and electro-fused magnesium oxide, and thus exhibits an excellent allergen-reducing effect. Moreover, an allergen-reduced product having an excellent allergen-reducing effect can be produced by incorporating the allergen-reducing agent in a substrate.
