Innovative packaging system for poultry products incorporating reticulated netting for enhanced protection and improved handling

Abstract

The present invention proposes an innovative packaging for poultry products, combining a plastic tray, a cling film and a reticulated net positioned on top. This net, composed of semi-rigid meshes, is designed to offer reinforced protection against perforations and mechanical tears that frequently occur during transport and handling on the shelf.The net allows the mechanical forces to be distributed over a larger surface, thus protecting the fragile cling film, in particular at the longitudinal ends often exposed to the risk of tearing. In addition, pieces of plasticized paper are placed at the ends to cover the vulnerable pygostyle parts reinforcing the durability and strength of the packaging.The net also offers a better grip and ensures an aesthetic presentation of the product, facilitating handling and traceability thanks to a label fixed on the net. Overall, this invention aims to improve both the durability and ergonomics of the packaging while ensuring optimal conservation of poultry products.
