Abstract
A wax motor is located inside the dishwasher. The wax motor moves a striker away from the top wall of the dishwasher to open the door. The wax motor can be activated at the end of a drying cycle to automatically open the door, allowing outside air to help dry the dishes and release any remaining moisture from the dishwasher.
