Abstract

A weather strip with a low specific weight and a low water absorption index is provided. The weather strip to be attached to a car includes a hollow sealing portion with a hollow space formed inside, and the hollow sealing portion includes a foamed wall portion that is at least part of a wall forming the hollow space, which has bubbles formed inside, the number of bubbles being not less than 200 / mm2, at least some of the bubbles originating from a thermally expandable microcapsule, which has a thickness of not less than 1.0 mm and not more than 2.0 mm, and which has a specific gravity not greater than 0.45.
