Release link for spacing device for potted plants

Abstract

Device for picking up and lifting plant pots and for leaving those plant pots at a distance from each other on a floor, which device has a pick-up slot with retainers (2) operated by a rotatable control shaft (3) to hold the plant pots in the pick-up slot in a first state and to release the pick-up slot in a second state. The retainers (2) 10 are coupled in accordance with the invention to the control shaft (3) via a release device (1,5,6,7) which, upon rotation (8) of the control shaft, releases the retainers to fall downwards under the influence of gravity and possibly spring force in order to thereby close the pick-up slot.
