Abstract
A vacuum sealed package (1) containing an absorbent article (100a) or a plurality of absorbent articles (100), such as one or more diapers, said package comprising an air-impermeable outer encasement (200) encasing the absorbent article (100a) or the plurality of absorbent articles (100) wherein the outer encasement (200) is vacuum sealed such that the absorbent article or the plurality of absorbent articles (100) is or are held in the outer encasement (200) in a compressed manner; wherein the air-impermeable outer encasement (200) comprises a first film having a thickness t ranging between 5 - 500 micron.
