The formulation of an analgesic balm

Abstract

The formulation describe the preparation of an analgesic balm which comprises camphor, menthol, thymol, essential oils; e.g., wintergreen oil, eucalyptus oil, turpentine oil & cinnamomun oil; and hard wax in petroleum jelly base. This preparation is excellent in the precutanous absorption of menthol, thymol and provides good result upon use. It is prepared for topical use and effective for stiff joint pain, sciatica, headache and deep seated muscular pain. Its result is much better than othef marketed available drugs for same purpose.
