The present invention relates to a salt of (R)-3-(6-(4-methylphenyl)pyridin-3-yloxy)-1-aza- bicyclo [2.2.2] octane of the formula (I) The invention further provides a process for the preparation of the salt of (R)-3-(6-(4-methylphenyl)-pyridin-3 -yloxy)- 1 -aza- bicyclo [2.2.2] octane and pharmaceutical composition comprising the salt of (R)-3 -(6-(4-methylphenyl)-pyridin-3 - yloxy)- 1-aza-bicyclo [2.2.2] octane as an active ingredient and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
