Method for combating microorganisms and use of porphyrin derivatives for combating microorganisms

Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for combating microorganisms comprising the following steps: a) a solution of a porphyrin derivative in DMSO is prepared, and then b) an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide is prepared with a concentration in the range of 10 - 500 mg / l, and then the solutions obtained in steps a) and b), regardless of the order of their application, are applied to a surface containing microorganisms, or a mixture of solutions from steps a) and b), after mixing, is applied to the said surface containing microorganisms, and then c) the said surface is irradiated with visible light with a wavelength in the range of 420 - 680 nm.
