Abstract
The invention is an anthropometric measuring device with a scooter-shaped body that a child can climb onto, designed for measuring children's height and weight. The device includes a weighing platform on which the child stands, and which contains at least one load sensor. At the rear of the weighing platform is a vertical height measurement unit containing at least one distance sensor that detects the child's head level non-contactly. Data from the load and distance sensors are processed by a processor unit. The processor unit also evaluates the child's movement and / or weight distribution on the weighing platform to determine if the measurement is stable. If the measurement meets the specified stability conditions, the height and weight measurement results are considered valid and are transmitted to the healthcare professional's digital system via a wireless communication unit. Technical field: The invention relates to measuring devices for performing anthropometric measurements of children. More specifically, the invention relates to an anthropometric measuring device that enables the measurement of children's height and weight through a child-friendly and interactive device, the evaluation of the child's movement and position during the measurement, and the transfer of the obtained measurement data to digital health systems.
