Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing porous activated carbon microspheres, which at least includes the following steps. A phenolic resin colloidal solution, a surfactant and a dispersion medium are uniformly dispersed to form a mixture, in which the surfactant has at least three branched lipophilic groups. The mixture is heated to solidify to form a plurality of resin microspheres. A carbonization process and an activation process are performed to the resin microspheres to form a plurality of porous activated carbon microspheres.
