Abstract

This invention discloses a liquid crystal composition and a liquid crystal display element and a liquid crystal display comprising the liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal composition comprises one or more compounds represented by Formula I and one or more compounds selected from Formulas II, III, and IV. When used in a liquid crystal display device, this liquid crystal composition effectively avoids problems such as dust particles, static electricity residue, slag, and brush marks caused by triboelectric alignment layers, which reduce the yield of the liquid crystal display device. It achieves good alignment effects and ensures uniformity of film thickness at different locations. Furthermore, the particle size of the RM after polymerization is moderate, and the resulting pretilt angle has good stable alignment capability. Liquid crystal displays using this alignment film exhibit good reliability, a wide viewing angle range, and effectively improve display defects.
