Abstract

This invention provides an improved structure for a vertical, simple planting rack and its water supply system. The main feature is an easily assembled and simple-to-maintain humidification device connected to the water inlet. This humidification device consists of a four-way connector that fits over the water inlet pipe and a pipe cap that seals the bottom end, forming a water collection tank with an upper opening. A sponge and a soft, absorbent material are placed at the upper end of this water collection tank. The sponge's anti-algae function and the soft, absorbent material's ability to steadily supply water to the potting soil ensure a more balanced and stable water supply, which is more beneficial for the growth of potted plants.

Claims

1. An improved structure of a vertical simple planting frame and its water supply system, which mainly consists of a combination of a vertical simple planting frame, lighting equipment, and a water supply system; wherein, The vertical simple planting rack consists of multiple supports, brackets, crossbars, trays, and potted plants. The brackets are secured to the supports by clips, and the crossbars are secured to at least two brackets to form a three-dimensional frame. Lighting devices are installed through holes in the bottom of the two brackets, and trays for placing potted plants are mounted on the two crossbars. A water supply system, consisting of an inlet pipe, a pressure balancing pipe, and a water inlet, is located along the edge of the vertical simple planting rack. The pressure balancing pipe and the water inlet are connected in an H-shape and positioned at the same height on each planting layer. Water is supplied from the inlet pipe to each water inlet, where absorbent material automatically, slowly, and evenly transfers water to the potted plants using a siphon principle. This results in a vertical simple planting rack that is water-efficient, simple in structure, easy and quick to assemble and disassemble, and inexpensive to manufacture. The water supply system is characterized by comprising an inlet pipe and a humidification device. The inlet pipe is a pipe for connecting to the water source and is installed in a slot in the bracket body. The humidification device is installed on the inlet pipe and mainly consists of a four-way connector, a pipe cap, absorbent soft material, and a sponge. The left and right openings of the four-way connector are connected to the inlet pipe, and the pipe cap is fitted and sealed on the lower opening of the four-way connector, making the four-way connector a water collection tank. The absorbent soft material and the sponge are respectively installed on the upper opening of the four-way connector. The absorbent soft material is inserted into the four-way connector, and the water source in the four-way connector is continuously transferred to the potted plant below through the absorbent soft material using the siphon principle. The sponge not only fixes the absorbent soft material below but also prevents algae growth, making the water transfer of the absorbent soft material more stable and smooth.

2. An improved structure of the vertical simple planting rack and its water supply system as described in claim 1, wherein, The bracket body has a small, easily bendable piece protruding from the slot for mounting the water inlet pipe. By bending the small piece, it can be pushed against the water inlet pipe. In other words, the depth of the slot can be adjusted by the height of the bent small piece, thereby effectively adjusting the level of the entire water inlet pipe and compensating for and solving the problem of pipe sagging that often occurs due to insufficient strength of the water inlet pipe itself.
