Abstract

The present invention relates to a cold and heat-insulating dual-purpose bowl, which can be used for keeping meals cool or provide heat insulation for food or liquids. The bowl is made of a double wall structure. The double wall insulated structure is made of stainless steel. Two water filling inlets is provided on each side of the bowl with two black rubber stoppers to seal and cover the inlets. The bottom of the bowl is designed with non-slip material. The bowl is placed in a refrigerator for freezing after water is filled in the cavity between the two walls. When in use, the bowl is taken out from the refrigerator, food is put into the bowl and is stirred, and the food can be cooled quickly and keeps food cold for a very long period. It should be noted, cooling water can be directly filled in the cavity to cool the food. Also, when no water is filled in the cavity, the bowl also functions as a heat insulation and keeps food warm for a long period.

CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

[0001] This application claims priority to Provisional Application Ser. No. 63 / 538,367 for “Dual purpose Insulation Bowl” having a filing date of Sep. 14, 2023, the disclosure of which is herein incorporated by reference in its entirety.STATEMENT REGARDING FEDERALLY SPONSORED RESEARCH OR DEVELOPMENT

[0002] Not Applicable1. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1.1 Technical Field

[0003] This invention pertains to a dual-purpose bowl designed to provide both cold and heat insulation for food and liquids.1.2. Background Technology

[0004] Ice-cream or ice snacks are quick to melt when they are not kept in a cold temperature or environment. It is usually very difficult to keep the ice snacks from melting and turning into soup like. Food turns cold easily when people have group dinner, and particularly in colder weathers; most people use the supporting alcohol heater container under the bowl; With candle or solid alcohol-heating; Although this generates heat, it can give out some toxic gases during the burning of candle or solid alcohol, which is unfavorable for health. Secondly, it only serves one problem and not the keeping cold feature. Therefore, there is a need to address these problems.1.3. Description of Prior Art

[0005] Several prior art references exist that relate to dual-purpose insulated containers and bowls. For example:

[0006] 1. U.S. Pat. No. 6,976,371B2, granted in 2005. A food container is configured to be removably disposed within the interior cavity of the base such that the cooled air is prevented from entering the food container and instead is trapped and circulated within the interior cavity surrounding the food container. A lid is positional over the food container and configured to be removably placed onto an upper edge of the base or onto the food container to form a generally air-tight seal therebetween.

[0007] 2. U.S. Pat. No. 10,010,213B2, granted in 2018, describes a similar dual-purpose dishware, drinkware, and food containers. Heated or cooled food container can have a lid movable between an open and a closed position and an insulated body to which the lid can be attached. The insulated body can have a sidewall that defines a perimeter of the container body and a base, the sidewall and base defining one or more chambers that can be sealed by the lid.

[0008] These prior art references establish the general concept of dual-purpose insulated containers with features like the present invention, but none appear to encompass all the specific elements and characteristics as described herein.2. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0009] The present invention is a dual-purpose cold and heat-insulating bowl featuring a double-wall structure made from stainless steel. It is equipped with two 1 cm liquid inlets on each side to evenly distribute liquid within the bowl and two black rubber seal to cover the inlets and provide more insulation. This design allows the bowl to keep food or liquid cold when frozen with water inside, or to act as a heat insulator when water is absent. The bottom of the bowl is fitted with non-slip material to prevent damage to furniture or surfaces, and it has a capacity of approximately 30 oz.3. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0010] FIG. 1 is a frontal view of a preferred embodiment of the invention.

[0011] FIG. 2 is an internal view of a preferred embodiment of the invention.

[0012] FIG. 3 is a side view of a preferred embodiment of the invention.

[0013] FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the invention.

[0014] FIG. 5 is the bottom view of a preferred embodiment of the invention.

[0015] FIG. 6 Shows an illustration of the black rubber stopper.4. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0016] FIG. 1 illustrates a frontal view of the preferred embodiment, showcasing the 1 cm liquid inlets on each side for filling with liquid and freezing.

[0017] FIG. 2 provides an internal view of the invention, emphasizing the double-wall insulation and liquid inlets that span from one side to the other.

[0018] FIG. 3 presents a side view of the dual-purpose bowl, highlighting its ability to keep meals cold or provide heat insulation.

[0019] FIG. 4 shows another side view, displaying the dimensions of the invention, which measures approximately 3.6 inches in length, 7.9 inches in width, and has a 30 oz holding capacity.

[0020] FIG. 5 offers a bottom view of the bowl, revealing the non-slip material that safeguards furniture and prevents spills.

[0021] FIG. 6 Shows an illustration of the black rubber sealer used on each side to cover the inlet and seal in the temperature, making it last even longer.

[0022] It should be noted that the preceding description serves as an illustration and is not limiting to the invention. Various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit of the invention.
