FIELD OF INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a tamper-evident container and a process for making the same. The container may be used in sectors that involve packaging products and where a level of security is required to show evidence of any tampering with the packaging. For example, the container may be used in the packaging, communication (e.g., for postal services), food, transportation, and logistics sectors.STATE OF THE ART
[0002] Tamper-evident containers made of paper sheet material are known in the packaging industry. A first example described in patent application No. WO 2015 / 170203 A1 shows a tamper-evident container having a storage that can be closed by a closure system. The container comprises a first coupling portion defined on the closure system and a second coupling portion arranged in the storage: the first and second coupling portions are configured to engage during a first closed condition the container. The second coupling portion defines a removable coupling portion configured to separate from the container during a first opening condition of said container, subsequent to the first closed condition. A through opening is located on the storage to allow the removable portion to be displayed. A second example described in Patent Application No. EP 3 461 756 A1 shows an additional tamper-evident container having a storage that can be closed by a closure system and a first and second coupling portions carried by the closure system and the storage, respectively. The second coupling portion is removable and hinged directly to an outer lateral wall of the storage. A third example described in patent application No. EP 3 560 854 A1 also shows a tamper-evident container having a storage that can be closed by a closure system. The container comprises a first coupling portion defined by two overlapping and glued tabs configured to be engaged, in a closed condition of the container, to a second coupling portion defined on the storage. The second coupling portion is defined by two folded opposing panels closing a top opening of the storage. A fourth example described in patent application No. U.S. Pat. No. 5,236,122 A shows a theft-proof container having a storage that can be closed by means of a closure system and a first and second coupling portions carried by the closure system and the storage, respectively. The first coupling portion is defined by a tab carrying two opposing folding flaps while the second coupling portion comprises a tab delimited by a notch defined on an outer lateral wall of the storage. Additional containers are described in patent applications No. DE 20 2010014299 U1 and No. WO 2013 / 007306 A1.
[0003] A fifth example described in patent application No. EP 2 003 061 A1 shows an additional container having a storage that can be closed by a closure system and a first and second coupling portions carried by the closure system and the storage, respectively. The second coupling portion is defined by a panel placed in the storage while the first coupling portion comprises a removable panel carried by the closure system.
[0004] Although the aforementioned known containers are currently used to define tamper-evident or theft-proof solutions, the Applicant has noted that these can be improved in various aspects.OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The object of the present invention is therefore to substantially solve at least one of the drawbacks and / or limitations of the preceding solutions.
[0006] A first object of the invention is to provide a container having a simple structure, which can be easily made using existing facilities, and at the same time capable of effectively giving evidence of a tamper attempt; in particular, it is an object of the invention to provide a tamper-evident container that can be made inexpensively, and that does not require the modification of existing facilities used for the fabrication of standard containers. It is then the object of the present invention to provide a tamper-evident container that can be closed easily and properly, preventing damage to parts of the container designed to prevent tampering of the container.

A tamper-evident container comprising:a storage defining an internal volume configured to house at least one product, the storage having a predetermined number of lateral walls defining at least one passage opening delimited by a free edge a passage opening configured to place the internal volume in communication with the external environment,at least one closure system comprising a closure portion engageable with the storage and an inserting portion emerging from the closure portion, wherein the closure system is movable at least between:a closed condition of the container wherein:the closure portion is configured to at least partially occlude the passage opening to prevent the communication between the internal volume of the storage and the external environment, and the inserting portion is at least partially housed in the internal volume of the storage andan open condition of the container wherein the closure system is configured to allow communication between the internal volume and the external environment,at least a first coupling portion carried by the closure systemat least a second coupling portion carried by the storage and configured to cooperate with said first coupling portion,wherein the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion in a first closed condition of the container are configured to engage with each other to define a locking condition of the container, wherein at least one of the closure system, the storage, the first coupling portion, or the second coupling portion comprise a weakening configured to allow, as a result of a first open condition of the container subsequent to the first locking condition, the breaking of at least one of the first coupling portion or the second coupling portion,wherein the second coupling portion comprises a locking tab configured to engage the first coupling portion wherein the locking tab is defined by at least one lateral through notch made directly on the lateral wall of the storage carrying the second coupling portion, and,wherein the container comprises at least one support element housed at least partially in the internal volume of the storage, wherein the support element is configured to contact the locking tab of the second coupling portion, at least during a transition of the container from the open condition to the first closed condition.2-3. The tamper-evident container according to claim 1, wherein the locking tab defines a gripping edge configured to engage the first coupling portion, wherein the locking tab extends over a plane of lying of a lateral wall of the storage, andwherein the locking tab is superiorly delimited by a section of the free edge defined by the lateral wall of the storage carrying the second coupling portion and is inferiorly delimited by a gripping edge spaced from the free edge of the storage which is configured to engage the first coupling portion.
12. The tamper-evident container according to claim 1, wherein the through notch defines a passageway for receiving in crossing at least the first coupling portion for the engagement of the first coupling portion with the locking tab of the second coupling portion.

The tamper-evident container according to claim 1, wherein the through notch defines, in a condition wherein the locking tab lies on a plane parallel to the lateral wall of the storage directly carrying the second coupling portion a through access delimited by a perimeter edge having a closed profile.
14. The tamper-evident container according to claim 1, wherein the through notch comprises:a central through notch suitable to define the through access, anda first lateral through notch and a second lateral through notch opposed to the first through notch and spaced from the central through notch.
15. The tamper-evident container according to claim 14, wherein the first lateral through notch and the second lateral through notch are joined to the free edge of the storage wherein the through notch delimits a hook defined by the locking tab of the second coupling portion.
16. The tamper-evident container according to claim 1, wherein the weakening is configured to connect the locking tab of the second coupling portion with the lateral wall of the storage carrying directly the second coupling portion.17-19. (canceled).

The tamper-evident container according to claim 23, wherein the through notch defines, in a condition wherein the locking tab lies on a plane parallel to the lateral wall of the storage directly carrying the second coupling portion, a through access delimited by a perimeter edge having closed profile.

The tamper-evident container according to claim 23, wherein the through notch has:a central through notch suitable for defining the through access, anda first lateral through notch and a second lateral through notch opposed to the first lateral through notch, wherein the first lateral through notch and the second lateral through notch are each spaced from the central through notch.
