Abstract

The present invention is a trigger block device comprising a body and a plurality of notches. Said body is shaped to encompass a trigger guard of a firearm. Said plurality of notches comprise ridges that secure or snap said body to a trigger guard of a firearm. When said body is secured to a trigger guard of a firearm using said plurality of notches, a user is unable to pull the trigger of said firearm, intentionally or accidentally. FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates generally to firearm safety devices. Particularly, the present invention is a trigger block device designed for revolvers that prevents accidental or unauthorized discharge.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Revolvers typically do not have a safety mechanism and have an exposed trigger that makes them susceptible to accidental discharge if improperly handled. There is a need for a simple, effective, and easily removable safety block that physically prevents the firing of a revolver until it is intentionally taken off by the user.

[0003] An objective of the present invention is to provide a trigger block device that prevents accidental discharge of firearms due to an exposed trigger. The present invention provides a secure block that simultaneously can be quickly removed with intentional force to provide access to the firearm's trigger when needed.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Said plurality of notches comprise ridges that secure or snap said body to a trigger guard of a firearm.
