PRODUCTION PROCESS OF PREPARATIONS FROM THE ETHYL ACETATE FRACTION OF CANSCORA LUCIDISSIMA, WHICH HAS CYTOXIC EFFECTS ON CANCER CELLS

Abstract

The invention proposes a process for producing a preparation from the ethyl acetate fraction of Canscora lucidissima, which includes the following steps: a) material preparation; b) ethanol extract of Canscora lucidissima; c) dissolving the ethanol extract with hot water; d) collecting the extract insoluble in n-hexane; e) collecting the extract insoluble in dichloromethane; f) collecting the ethyl acetate fraction; g) creating a suspension system; and h) collecting the powdered preparation. This process produces a powdered preparation with uniform particle size, high stability, and cytotoxic activity against cancer cells. The powdered preparation enhances bioavailability with a simple and non-toxic production process.
