Abstract
Description
[0001] DISPERSING PUMP
[0002] AREA OF TECHNOLOGY
[0003] The invention relates to disperser pumps intended for pumping, intensive mixing and dispersing multiphase media, primarily with water-mineral binders, in particular aqueous mixtures with gypsum, cement, magnesia binders, with lime, and other media containing, among other things, solid particles.
[0004] LEVEL OF TECHNOLOGY
[0005] A pump for pumping multiphase media is known from the prior art, disclosed in SU 1828947 U1, published 23.07.1993, prototype. The pump comprises a housing with a working chamber, containing a pumping chamber for the medium being pumped, a suction chamber for the medium being pumped, two shafts rotating in the same direction with a screw thread.
[0006] The disadvantage of the above technical solution is the presence of a large number of surfaces of the working chamber that are not cleaned during the pump operation. And this technical solution did not set the task of increasing the degree of mixing of the pumped medium. Moreover, screw pumps of this type are mainly used for pumping masses that must be minimally subjected to intensive mixing, which can lead to deterioration of the mass properties. At the same time, such a device can increase the degree of mixing of the pumped masses only indirectly, in particular by adjusting the limitation of the pumped flow or increasing the speed of rotation of the shafts, which is not always technologically feasible.
[0007] DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
[0008] The objective of the claimed invention is to develop a twin-screw disperser pump that combines 2 functions in one device:
[0009] - Pumping / injecting of working fluid.
[0010] - Intensive mixing / dispersion, while for the processes and materials under consideration this is the main function of the claimed device.
[0011] For this purpose, an additional zone is created inside the pump, in which mixing cam elements are additionally installed on shafts rotating in one direction.
[0012] The technical result of the invention is the controlled combination of two technological processes in one device - pumping of the working medium (pump function) and intensive mixing (dispersion / disintegration / homogenization function), while there are no stagnant zones in the volume of the working chamber of the pump, all surfaces inside the working chamber of the pump are self-cleaning during the rotation of the shafts. The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that the disperser pump for pumping liquid media, including those with solid particles, contains a housing with a discharge and suction branch pipes located in different parts of the pump housing, while inside the housing there is a working chamber, inside which there are two shafts rotating in the same direction, the axes of which are parallel, and on which augers are installed. In the working chamber in front of the discharge branch pipe, cam elements are additionally installed on the shafts, responsible for the intensive mixing / dispersion function, while the shafts rotate at a speed of 800-4500 rpm. By changing the length of the zones of the screw and cam elements, the configuration of the screws and cam elements, it is possible to regulate the process of pumping and mixing in a wide range.
[0013] Augers and cams can be designed with self-cleaning capability.
[0014] The disperser pump contains a motor, a safety clutch and a multiplier box, while the pump body and the box body are spaced apart with a gap.
[0015] The disperser pump is designed for pumping, intensive mixing and dispersion of multiphase media, primarily with mineral binders, in particular aqueous mixtures with gypsum, cement, magnesia binders, lime, and other media containing, among other things, solid particles.

[0017] The invention will be better understood from the description, which is not limiting in nature and is given with reference to the accompanying drawings, which show:

[0021] IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0022] A disperser pump for pumping liquid media with solid particles comprises a housing (5) with a discharge (6.2) and suction (6.1) branch pipes located in different parts of the housing (5) of the pump, while inside the housing (5) there is a working chamber, inside which there are two shafts (7) rotating in the same direction, the axes of which are parallel, and on which augers (8) are installed. In the working chamber, in front of the discharge branch pipe, cam elements (9) are additionally installed on the shafts, while the shafts rotate at a speed of 800-4500 rpm. The suction (6.1) and discharge (6.2) nozzles can be cut into the upper, lower or side surface of the pump body (5) or cut into the end surface of the pump body, as shown in Fig. 2. The placement of the nozzles is determined by the selected direction of movement of the pumped and mixed medium (movement of the medium both towards the engine and away from the engine is possible) and the spatial placement of the disperser pump in the production line.
[0023] The screws (8) and cam elements (9) are designed with the ability to self-clean. The screws (8) and cam elements (9) can be removable components installed on shafts, and the shafts can also be manufactured immediately with screw and cam elements.
[0024] The disperser pump comprises a motor and a multiplier box mounted on a base (1), with the pump body (5) and the multiplier box body (4) spaced apart with a gap for ease of monitoring the condition of the seals.
[0025] The disperser pump is designed with the possibility of pumping, intensive mixing and dispersing multiphase media, primarily with mineral binders, in particular aqueous mixtures with gypsum, cement, magnesia binders, with lime, and other media containing, among other things, solid particles, including those with filler inclusions.
[0026] The disperser pump operates as follows. When the engine (2) is switched on, the engine shaft rotates, which through the safety coupling (3) transmits rotation to the drive shaft of the multiplier box (4). The drive shaft of the multiplier box transmits rotation to two shafts (7) of the pump, which rotate in one direction. The housing of the multiplier box (4) is connected to the housing of the pump (5) through connecting bushings, as a result of which a gap is formed between the housing of the multiplier box (4) and the housing (5) of the pump. The pumped medium, through the suction (6.1) branch pipe, enters the working chamber of the disperser pump, in which the shafts (7) of the pump rotate in one direction, on which the augers (8) are installed, which move the said liquid medium to the discharge branch pipe (6.2). In the area in front of the discharge pipe, cam elements (9) are installed on the shafts, which carry out mixing (dispersion, disintegration, homogenization) of the specified medium. When the pump shafts (7) rotate in one direction, the protruding elements located on the screws (8) and cam elements (9) perform a scraping motion relative to the other elements of the disperser pump, as a result of which no surfaces remain on the walls of the pump working chamber and the surfaces of the screws (8) and cam elements (9) that would not be cleaned of any possibly adhered mass. Then the dispersed medium from the discharge branch pipe is removed from the disperser pump and goes to the next stage of production. Changing the rotation speed of the shafts directly affects the pumping and dispersion process. Increasing the rotation speed increases the volume of the pumped medium and the degree of mixing (in the permissible range determined by the pumped medium). By changing the cross-sectional area of the outlet flow, it is possible to additionally regulate the parameters of the pumping and mixing processes. To regulate the volume and degree of mixing of the medium, it is possible to change the length and configuration of the screw and cam elements. Thus, the disperser pump according to this technical solution allows for a wide range of regulation of the pump-disperser characteristics in terms of pumping volume and degree of dispersion.
[0027] In this case, the screws and cams can be manufactured as a whole, or assembled from separate screw and cam elements, which allows changing the length of the assembled screws and the length of the intensive mixing zone.
[0028] The declared disperser pump allows to organize a technological process with pumping of a liquid medium, including with solid particles, and its simultaneous intensive mixing (dispersion / disintegration / homogenization), while in the volume of the pump working chamber there are no stagnant zones, since the internal space of the working chamber, made hollow in the form of two crossed cylinders, is completely filled with rotating elements, which allows to clean all internal surfaces of the pump working chamber in the process of self-cleaning of screws and cam elements when rotating shafts. Additionally, for ease of maintenance, the pump body and the multiplier body are installed with a gap from each other, which allows for visual inspection of the seals.
[0029] The invention has been disclosed above with reference to a specific embodiment thereof. Other embodiments of the invention may be obvious to specialists, without changing its essence as disclosed in the present description. Accordingly, the invention should be considered limited in scope only by the following claims.
