[0011] First, an overview of a service (hereinafter referred to as "this service") that can be realized by an information processing system (see FIG. 3 described later) to which a server 1 according to an embodiment of the information processing device of the present invention is applied will be described with reference to Figures 1 and 2. Figures 1 and 2 are diagrams showing an overview of this service that can be realized by an information processing system to which a server 1 according to an embodiment of the information processing device of the present invention is applied.

[0012] This service uses digital technology and IT to complete the entire process from application, screening, and issuance of credits (hereinafter simply referred to as "credits") related to at least one of the reduction, absorption, and removal of greenhouse gas (Greenhouse Gas) emissions in a project (hereinafter referred to as a "GHG emission reduction project"), all in one place. In other words, this service is a "one-stop credit support service."

[0013] Specifically, in the example of this service shown in FIG. 1 , the credit creator simply performs one step: inputting data describing the details of the GHG emission reduction project for which they wish to credit. The following steps S1 to S3 are executed. Specifically, in step S1, a feasibility study is conducted for the GHG emission reduction project. In step S2, the crediting system performs a one-stop process for the GHG emission reduction project, from application to review and issuance. In step S3, the credits are bought and sold on a matching platform. Note that the service provider of this service is only required to be responsible for the crediting system in step S2; the feasibility study in step S1 and the matching platform in step S3 may be entrusted to another business partner with the service provider. In the following example, only the feasibility study in step S1 is handled by another business, and the crediting system in step S2 and the matching platform in step S3 are provided by the service provider. In other words, hereinafter, the term "this service" refers to the service realized by the crediting system in step S2 and the matching platform in step S3.

[0014] As shown in Figure 2, the crediting system in step S2 of this service can be realized, for example, by a cloud-based platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Web application management platform") connected to a server 1 managed by the provider of this service.

[0015] Each of the n applicants A1 to An (n is an integer greater than or equal to 1) who are credit creators (Figure 1) receives the service by connecting the terminals they manage (hereinafter referred to as "applicant terminals 2-1 to 2-n") to the cloud. When there is no need to distinguish between the applicants A1 to An, they will be collectively referred to as "applicant A." Furthermore, when referring to "applicant A," the applicant terminals 2-1 to 2-n will be collectively referred to as "applicant terminal 2." Each of m examiners J1 to Jm (m is an integer greater than or equal to 1 and independent of n) will examine GHG emission reduction projects by connecting the terminals they manage (hereinafter referred to as "examiner terminals 3-1 to 3-m") to the cloud. When there is no need to distinguish between the examiners J1 to Jm, they will be collectively referred to as "examiner J." Furthermore, when referring to "examiner J," the examiner terminals 3-1 to 3-m will be collectively referred to as "examiner terminal 3." The system administrator SU uses a terminal that it manages (hereinafter referred to as the "system administrator terminal 4") to develop, register, and update the GHG emission reduction calculation tool unit 52 and methodology module unit 53 (described later) of the server 1. Note that this service also appropriately utilizes predetermined AI (hereinafter referred to as "cloud-based AI" or simply abbreviated as "AI") that exists on the web application management platform (cloud). Note that cloud-based AI also includes so-called generation AI.

The GHG emission reduction calculation tool unit 52 uses the calculation module to autonomously calculate emissions and reduction amounts, verify them against applicant A's performance data, and present the results to assessor J via assessor terminal 3. Assessor J can verify his or her own performance data. The assessment system DB unit 54 stores the verified performance data in the database 71, particularly the common performance DB.

[0133] Although one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and modifications, improvements, etc. within the scope of achieving the object of the present invention are considered to be included in the present invention.

[0134] For example, the system configuration shown in FIG. 3 and the hardware configuration of the server 1 shown in FIG. 4 are merely examples for achieving the object of the present invention, and are not particularly limited.

[0135] Furthermore, the functional block diagram shown in Fig. 5 is merely an example and is not particularly limited. That is, it is sufficient if the information processing system in Fig. 3 is provided with a function that can execute the various processes described above as a whole, and the functional blocks and databases used to realize this function are not particularly limited to the example in Fig. 5.

[0136] Furthermore, the locations of the functional blocks and databases are not limited to those shown in Figure 5 and may be arbitrary. For example, at least some of the functional blocks and databases located on the server 1 side may be provided on the applicant terminal 2, the examiner terminal 3, the system administrator terminal 4, or other information processing devices not shown.

[0137] 6 to 36 are merely examples and are not particularly limited. That is, it is sufficient if the information processing system in FIG. 3 is provided with a function that can execute the various processes described above as a whole, and the displays, functional blocks, and databases used to realize these functions are not particularly limited to the examples in FIG. 6 to 36.

[0138] The above-described series of processes can be executed by hardware or software, and each functional block can be configured by hardware alone, software alone, or a combination of both.

[0139] When a series of processes is executed by software, the programs constituting the software are installed onto a computer or the like from a network or a recording medium. The computer may be a computer incorporated into dedicated hardware. The computer may also be a computer capable of executing various functions by installing various programs, such as the server 1, a general-purpose smartphone, or a personal computer.

[0140] The recording medium containing such a program may be composed not only of a removable medium (not shown) that is distributed separately from the device main body in order to provide the program to the user, but also of a recording medium that is provided to the user in a state that is pre-installed in the device main body.

[0141] In this specification, the steps of describing a program to be recorded on a recording medium include not only processes that are performed chronologically in accordance with the order, but also processes that are not necessarily performed chronologically but are performed in parallel or individually.

[0142] To sum up, the information processing device to which the present invention is applied is sufficient as long as it has the following configuration, and can take on a variety of different embodiments.

[0143] That is, the information processing device (server 1 in FIGS. 2 to 5) to which the present invention is applied is an information processing device that executes processing (at least executes processing related to the crediting system in step S2 of the present service in FIG. 1) to support the execution of a series of steps from application to issuance of credits related to at least one of the reduction, absorption, and removal of greenhouse gas emissions in a target project for which an applicant (for example, applicant A in FIG. 2) desires crediting among projects of businesses related to at least one of the reduction, absorption, and removal of greenhouse gas emissions (for example, the GHG emission reduction project referred to above), and has a UI (User Interface) for the applicant to input and apply for application documents including at least a project plan for the target project as data. an applicant registration etc. means (e.g., the applicant registration authentication unit 51 in FIGS. 2 and 5) that provides a UI (User Interface) to a first terminal of the applicant and receives and registers data of the application documents submitted through the UI from the first terminal (e.g., the applicant terminal 2 in FIGS. 2, 3, and 5); a greenhouse gas emissions etc. calculation means (e.g., the GHG emissions reduction calculation tool unit 52 in FIGS. 2 and 5) that calculates greenhouse gas emissions for the target project based on the data of the application documents in accordance with a predetermined first methodology and presents the results of this calculation to the first terminal; a methodology module management etc. means (e.g., the methodology module unit 53 in FIGS. 2 and 5) that manages and operates the first methodology and a predetermined second methodology related to the screening process of the target project as modules, respectively; It is sufficient to have an audit support means (e.g., audit system DB section 54 in Figures 2 and 5) that provides a UI to the second terminal of the auditor (e.g., auditor terminal 3 in Figures 2, 3, and 5) to assist the auditor (e.g., auditor J in Figure 2) in conducting an audit of the target project based on the data in the application documents in accordance with the audit process using the second methodology.

[0144] This will allow for efficient and easy handling of greenhouse gas credits.

[0145] The system may further include a credit issuing unit (e.g., the authentication and account management unit 55 in Figs. 2 and 5) that issues, certifies, and manages accounts for credits approved through the screening of the target project. This allows applicants to receive greenhouse gas credits efficiently and easily.

[0146] The applicant registration means may provide the UI having a chat function with the applicant through an AI function to the first terminal, and may provide the first terminal with a project application form, items, and a specific draft that is appropriate for the applicant via the chat function.

[0147] This allows the AI to predict the required fields based on voice input, uploaded PDF (registered trademark) or Excel (registered trademark) files, past cases in EARTHSTORY (registered trademark), and published domestic and international projects and methodologies, even if the applicant lacks specialized knowledge or uses slight variations in language and terminology. It then generates a specific draft and proposes a proposal based on the details. This creates an AI agent that assists the applicant. By carefully selecting optimal wording while reducing the effort of manual input, the application process is shortened and data consistency and accuracy are improved. Language generation AI and an AI agent specialized for credit projects are utilized.

[0148] This allows applicants to manage supporting data digitally, eliminating the need to bother transcribing and re-editing application forms and files. As long as the required information is included, applicants can simply upload their data as GHG calculation data (Excel (registered trademark) / CSV). There is also no need to outsource calculations and document creation to consultants. Using the data provided by applicants as input data, GHG emissions and reductions (output) can be calculated accurately and autonomously in accordance with the relevant methodology and applicable coefficients.

[0149] This eliminates unnecessary exchanges in document review due to applicant transcription and calculation errors, and eliminates the need for reviewers to check calculations. In addition, by having AI detect missing values (missing measurements, missing data) and infer methods of completion, review items such as detecting missing values and confirming how to fill or complete them can be visualized, preventing omissions in the review and ensuring the standard of review. It eliminates unnecessary information exchange. It reduces the stress, effort, and cost of document preparation work for applicants. It also makes it possible to achieve accurate, autonomous calculations and checks.

[0150] The greenhouse gas emission amount calculation means may calculate the greenhouse gas emission amount in accordance with the items corresponding to the applicant obtained through the chat function, thereby enabling accurate and autonomous calculation of GHG emission amount and reduction amount (output).

[0151] The methodology module management means may update the modules of the first methodology and the second methodology in accordance with the target project based on the latest information in the field to which the target project belongs.

[0152] This systematizes traditional text-based methodologies and provides them as easy-to-use APIs and SDKs based on the latest information. It improves the efficiency and accuracy of the application process. It also reduces unfair judgments and inequalities caused by literacy gaps, such as applicants not knowing what input data to measure, collect, record, and calculate, and whether published data or default values are correct or incorrect when citing coefficients due to lack of knowledge. By adding methodologies for various projects, such as solar power generation, electric vehicles, electric motorcycles, blue carbon, and livestock GHG, the system centrally manages various methodologies and enables knowledge accumulation and standardization. The autonomous update function ensures that the latest information is always applied as methodologies and calculation formulas are upgraded. It functions as a digital audit tool, supporting auditors in conducting efficient and accurate evaluations. It eliminates bottlenecks in the fully digitalized MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) process. No knowledge of technical terms or formulas is required.

[0153] The review support means may provide the UI to the second terminal, using AI functions to assist in at least one of the following: matching multiple review items with application information, verifying the greenhouse gas emissions, and checking missing values in the monitor data on the second terminal. This allows for time savings and countermeasures against human error, such as oversights and omissions. The review support means may provide two types of review: desktop (paper) review of the information and supporting documents uploaded to the cloud, as well as remote review from a remote location. Video recordings of remote reviews may be recorded in any language, and minutes may be instantly generated and stored as digital information using AI. This provides a digital record of evidence. This allows for time savings and countermeasures against human error, such as oversights and omissions.

[0154] The audit support means may further design an audit plan using AI based on past audit reports as the design of at least one of the audit items and procedures, thereby improving the efficiency of the audit process, strengthening audit quality control, eliminating personal dependency through standardization, and improving the transparency and reliability of the audit.
